I have been serviced by Pullman Hotel in Dali for 2 nights. I am very impressed by the service of the staff, especially Mr. Edison.
On the day I arrived, my luggage was broken. He was able to advise me where I could buy a new one, and he also took care of my luggage and brought it to my room when the room was ready. He always informed me and took good care of me.
The other staffs were also very helpful. They are able to communicate with me well, and provided other services, such as breakfast, called a taxi to my destination, opened and shut the car's door for me. It showed a lot of care.
I was very impressed. If I come to visit here again, I will definitely choose Pullman Hotel.

Do take not that location is a little far from the town Center. Take about 1hr car trip to arrive at the hotel.

Great location in the old town. Room was clean, had enough amenities but the heater was not working. My room was on the 2nd floor overlooking their cafe but I felt the curtains did not provide enough privacy. Breakfast was a small buffet spread and it gets busy around 8am when many people check-out, so there was a wait for a clean table. Guests bring outside food which is not appropriate, in my opinion, but it might be a local custom.

If you’re looking for a hotel in Dali to stay, look no further and choose Luchun Hotel! Travelled with my family and we stayed at different big brand name hotels during our entire trip. However, everyone’s favourite was Luchun Hotel owing to its high service standards and quality offerings! The rooms were well furnished and homely with an overall wooden aesthetic. Beds were comfortable and rooms were spacious with a nice toilet. However, we would definitely say the star of the hotel is its staff! Staff were genuinely concerned about our wellbeing, checking in on how our stay was every morning and if we felt comfortable. The hotel also provided free transportation to the ancient town nearby, night time warm milk for turn down service, a good quality high tea set and even offered free gifts and water for us to bring on our journey upon checking out. Although breakfast did not offer a huge variety, the food options were of great quality and were delicious. Highly recommend this hotel for Dali and would not hesitate to stay here again if I ever return!

One of the best experience we had in a hotel. Location was about 40 minutes from Dali, and the transport was prearranged by the staff. It is a beautiful hotel with many photogenic spots overseeing the lake. So peaceful and serene. The best part is the attentive staff who took care of everything for us from start to end. Our designated housekeeper 青柠 even followed up to check on us if we made it to our destination safely. They really go above and beyond. Would love to come back again.

During the May Day trip, I accidentally saw the introduction of Dali Songyun Cliff Hotel. I was attracted by the scenery of the hotel and immediately booked it on Ctrip. The next day after the reservation, the hotel staff called to confirm the itinerary and informed that there would be a one-to-one service from the hotel butler before check-in. Two days before the trip, the butler A Tao contacted me to inquire about my travel needs. Although there were other itineraries before checking in at Songyun Hotel, the butler A Tao was still very patient and answered all my travel inquiries without treating me differently because I had not checked in yet. After checking in, the butler A Tao also followed up the service in a timely manner, and was able to understand and provide services for our needs after check-in in a timely manner. Thank you very much for the service of the butler A Tao, which gave us a very pleasant stay experience. The location of Songyun Cliff Hotel is very good, and the view from the room is very good! The hotel has 2 restaurants with rich dishes that can be chosen according to personal preferences. The scenery is also very good. The dining environment is quiet and comfortable, and the service is also very good. Afternoon tea and desserts were presented, and the breakfast included in the room was also quite local. When we bask in the sun, we can make all the "evil" in the world nowhere to hide. Therefore, space designers with "light" in their hearts have an almost paranoid "demon" for sunlight, allowing them to design design works with different "understandings" and "human worthiness" of light. In my opinion, Dali's "Wuji Yinshe Mid-Mountain B&B" is such a "clean" and "innocent" space design work with "light" from the bottom of the heart!
The beginning
"Wuer Yinshe Mid-Mountain B&B" is located in Wenbi Village, Haidong Town, Dali, close to Erhai Lake, overlooking Cangshan Mountain, and the unique geographical environment makes people who have lived here for generations have no worries about food and clothing, but it is gradually distancing itself from the huge background of the changes of the times. A leisurely and soothing pace of life is ideal, but it is undeniable that it still belongs to the context of "agrarian civilization", and today, it has been abandoned by the younger generation who pursue the "fast-paced" and "Gatsby-style" psychology of modern life and the "Gatsby-style" psychology of getting rich overnight, and the "writing village" has become a "hollowed-out" settlement, which cannot escape the doom of "forgotten".
The designer has been to Dali many years ago and also visited Wenbi Village, full of longing and love for Cangshan Erhai Lake, not forgetting the sunshine here, the depth of Erhai Lake and the quiet way of life, in a chance to save down, the owner and designer found here, rent the villagers' houses, and incorporate the local villagers into the logistics service system of the B&B hotel! The logic of the underlying life of "Wenbi Village" has been changed!
When the designer was commissioned by the design of "Wuji Hermitage Mid-Mountain B&B", the attachment to Cangshan Erhai Lake and sunshine buried in his heart many years ago was awakened, and he created a B&B space architecture integrating time, memory and sunshine---- Wuji Hermitage Mid-Mountain Seaview B&B.
01 Survey and combing
This is a space that gathers oriental vacation homestays and has the characteristics of a Bai fishing village, which is very experiential!
After carefully surveying the topography and landform where the B&B is located, the designer found that this is a typical sloping house in the middle of the mountainside, with a bird's-eye view of Erhai Lake from the lower terrain and a deep halfway up the mountain. As a result, the designer came up with an ambitious idea: to build a new building with the characteristics of local Bai architecture in the open space near Erhai Lake, which will be integrated with the old buildings on the high ground to form an architectural settlement, with a height difference of nearly 10 meters, connected by a pedestrian staircase, forming an interesting building with sloping steps.

The room is equipped with humidifiers, stereos, washing machines and other facilities. I stayed at Ting Hua Island Hotel for 2 nights during my Dali trip, and honestly, it was beyond expectations. From the moment I checked in, I felt genuinely welcomed by the team — every staff member was incredibly warm, attentive, and friendly. They even surprised me with a whole birthday cake! Those who rarely write reviews should also write carefully. The hotel has very good hardware and software conditions. It is at the foot of Cangshan Mountain and backed by Cangshan Mountain. The air quality is excellent. There is a natural fragrance as soon as you enter. The layout design of the hotel is very scientific. Even during the May Day holiday, it is still very quiet. Children especially like it. We booked a private hot spring courtyard. The hot spring is under the maple tree. It is beautiful. When you soak in the hot spring during the day, there are little squirrels jumping between the trees. When you soak in the pool at night, you can see very bright stars and moons. The bedding is very soft, the indoor air conditioning is quiet and not dry, and the toiletries are L'Occitane. The gardenia soap is very easy to use. A very beautiful Dali shawl is also given. It is very practical in the morning and evening, and it reflects thoughtfulness and care everywhere. In terms of location, it is very close to the Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple and the entrance of Zhonghe Cableway. It only takes a few minutes to take a taxi. At first, I was worried that it would be difficult to get a taxi during the May Day holiday, but it was not. I waited patiently and I could get a taxi within 2-10 minutes. It takes more than ten minutes to take a taxi to Dali Ancient Town. I took my children to the ancient town to catch up with the excitement at night. I was so happy. I really didn't miss anything. Our butler Xiao Gao arranged a special car to pick us up and drop us off at Dali Station. He also reminded us that we had a free stone pot fish dinner. I have to say that the stone pot fish in the hotel was delicious. It was the most satisfying meal we had in Dali. Haha, the service in all aspects was very good. Thank you very much. The service of the entire hotel staff was sincere from the heart. I have stayed in all major five-star hotels but I have never seen such sincerity and simplicity. When I left, my child left his Apple headphones in the hotel. He helped us send them to us by SF Express as soon as possible. I will stay at Yiyun again when I go to Dali next time, hehe~~~

Sszhx99The hotel is designed with great care, it is a vacation type, so there are no flowers and plants, and it mainly restores a relaxed and casual style. It is very different from the B&B style that Internet celebrities check in. People who like it will like it, and those who want to take pictures and post them on WeChat Moments will be disappointed. Your own life is not for others to see. The service staff is very meticulous. My family had altitude sickness and the oxygen was delivered to the room in half a minute. The luggage was also taken by all the service staff, and it was relatively close to the Moonlight Parking Lot. I have never been interested in Shuanglang, but I still have the idea of coming to Shuanglang next time. I will not go to Dali Ancient Town again. I hope to discover a good hotel or B&B in Cangshan. Only Dali and Huangshan come every year. The brother who cooperated with the travel photography is much better than the one in Sanya Edition. I highly recommend him and will make an appointment with him next time👍

Zziying88Booked a 3 bedroom hotel cum residence apartment for 5 adults and 2 toddlers. Location was fantastic, in the middle of restaurants and facing Erhai Lake. The 2 of the bedrooms had an enquire bathroom with bathtub. The last had a basic toilet right beside the room. Well equipped with amenities, including full kitchenette (although there were no cutlery provided), a small backyard to wash & hang dry clothes, huge dinning and living space.
Hotel staffs were also very friendly and helpful. We arrived Dali by train, and the hotel arranged for a 9 seater vehicle to pick us. The hotel breakfast buffet was also a spread, we truly enjoyed our time here. A pity was we visited around early April and the wind was really huge and chilly so we couldn't spend much time in the balcony.
Other than that, everything else was great! Highly recommend to big groups who wants to stay together.
Also do note to get the wechat contact of the hotel via trip.com. much easier for communication.

AAllen HaimingJust spent a wonderful five nights at the Anyu Hotel in Dali in November, this beautifully appointed boutique hotel was so charming. From the warm lights, to the rich hardwood floors, ceilings, and furniture to all the thoughtful accents in the room and common areas, it felt like a charming and cozy home away from home.
Hotel location is fantastic, just steps away from the Dali Ancient Town, so everything from cafes, top restaurants, pharmacies, markets, bars, and hundreds of other stores and outdoor vendors are just a 2-10 minute walk away, no need to sit in traffic or call a car to get around.
Bed and pillows very comfortable, showerhead very powerful so makes for a very luxurious shower.
However, the best thing about the hotel is their warm and caring staff.
Nancy, one of the cleaning staff, was always super helpful and attentive and delightful to chat with, and was also kind enough to give us some great recommendations on places to visit which we ended up enjoying very much.
Anna was also very nice to interact with, her gentle and pleasant demeanor and thoughtful words always made it a pleasure to see her.
Candy was wonderful as well, always making sure we were attended to and ended up making some great recommendations on places to eat nearby. Her warm smile and kind demeanor will be remembered.
Finally, it was Vivian who we owe a deep debt of gratitude to. On the first day, my 84-year old Mom came down with an illness which included all sorts of symptoms. Vivian went out of her way to call a car and she accompanied us to the nearest hospital where she helped us fill out all the necessary paperwork and stayed by Mom's side for over an hour as we waited to see a doctor. Medication was prescribed and she called another car to take us back to the hotel while she went to a nearby pharmacy to pick up the medication for us which she then brought back to the hotel. By then it was well into the night and she had even taken us to the hospital when she was already off work, so this was all on her own time.
My Mom ended up making a recovery in large part to Vivian's quick and incredibly kind actions. She really went above and beyond and we are just so grateful to her and Anyu Hotel for helping to save my Mom.
Vivian was also an absolute pleasure to talk to as she always came over to greet us and chat everyday during our stay. Her warm smile, cheerful disposition, and charismatic yet humble personality always made every interaction a real pleasure. The hospitality we experienced from her will never be forgotten and feel very fortunate to have met someone with such a kind heart and also very high EQ and dedication. We know if we had stayed at a different hotel there is no way we would have experienced this level of hospitality so we are deeply appreciative for Vivian and the entire staff at Anyu for making our trip one that won't be forgotten.

The view is stunning. We had a sunrise view from the bed, so we left the curtains open at night to let the beautiful sky wake us up in the morning.
Location is perfect. One of the few properties around Lake Erhai to have direct access to the water, without being blocked by roads or promenades.
There are other similar waterfront properties in the other peninsula, but Pusu is more accessible and closer to the main town.
These two southern peninsulas are classy locations, far from the noisy and overly touristy parts of Shuanglang north of the ferry terminal.

Buffet restaurant definitely need more trainings about how to bring more efficient during the peak hours but service staff attitude are very positive. Breakfast food is ok.
Facilities are quite new and well maintained - reception helped to upgrade my rooms as we traveled together and arrange properly. Except the elevator which is quite odd that you have to take excessive steps to lobby.
Location is good near the bottom of the ErHai having a great seat view but if you want to go to the ancient city or some ancient towns to the west of the sea you’d better have a car or you have drivers.

BBaiyixiongI want to give 100 likes to the hotel. When we came, we were picked up at the station. There was a butler to help us with the luggage at the parking place. The distance was not far, and we could get to the hotel quickly. The main entrance of the hotel is on the main street of Shuanglang, which is super convenient. Entering the hotel is another world, quiet in the bustling. Every staff member is enthusiastic. Before coming, the butler added WeChat and pulled a group. A lot of communication was carried out before coming. The room is very beautiful. We stayed in a sea view twin room for the first two days, and a luxury sea view double bedroom room for the last day. Standing on the terrace to feel the beauty of Dali, it was so healing. There are welcome fruits in the room, delicious afternoon tea in the afternoon, drinks, fruit plates and cakes, which can be used in the room or in the public area downstairs. There are supper in the evening, sometimes Tremella soup and sometimes sago. The butler helped to take the luggage up and down, so that we didn't worry. The breakfast is also rich. You can order your own staple food, coffee or black tea, and the rest is self-service. After 11 o'clock on the first floor, guests outside can come in for dinner. The scenery is so good that many people come to check in. But this does not affect the feeling of the guests, because the guests have a unique seaside public area on the first floor below ground, where they can take beautiful photos and sit here for a day in the breeze. On the second day of our stay, there was a power failure in part of the main street for repair, and the surrounding hotels were all lit with candles, and it was dark. Only our hotel had electricity, and it was not affected at all. In addition, there were complete fire-fighting equipment in the room cabinet, which gave us a full sense of security. The housekeeper Xiaolin was particularly responsible, responsive, and always concerned about our needs. This hotel is worth staying in repeatedly.

JJonathanHad a wonderful 3 nights here. The well-designed property offers a calm respite from the buzz of the streets outside. We had a room on the second level that let good sunlight in during the days, allowing us to sit by the huge window for tea. Though the toilet and shower was a little small, the stone bathtub was huge. Room was clean & had all basic amenities one would expect. We loved the Coco-mat pillows. The breakfast was a highlight every morning, offering varied & healthy options. Coffee was good too. They served complimentary night desserts/snacks. They didn’t have many staff but service was good and prompt, always ready to offer tips & advice whenever needed. This included texting them via WeChat anytime you needed something. When the caretaker lady found out that we were heading to the other JiXiaShan properties after Dali, she took the initiative to inform them about our pending arrival & asked that we be accorded good hospitality. She also helped to link up with the Dida driver when we needed to arrange the transport between cities. We didn’t miss Dali Ancient City that much, but we sure miss this wonderful property, and we won’t hesitate to stay here again if we were to pass by this way.

Location was good as the Villa was situated atop the hill which provided a magnificent view of ErHai with Chang Mountains as a beautiful backdrop. You can simply enjoy this view from the comfort of your bed or simply chill with coffee or tea on your balcony.
The room has a large sunken bath that you can enjoy the view from as well and it fitted both of us very well as we are both quite tall.
Bathroom facilities and amenities were very good as well.
The owner, who was on-site, provided very nice touches to our stay like a simple Japanese afternoon tea, welcome fruit platter, tea tasting, dessert soup at bedtime which my wife liked, perfume testing station and even a Pu'er tea package as a gift.
Special mention to all in terms of their excellent service levels from their front desk, chef, waiters, and even the owner, who were all genuinely friendly and welcoming. They sorted out whatever queries or little issues that we had during our stay and went well and beyond.
Kudos to this young and vibrant team. Felt like a really nice homestay.
