"It is exactly looks like the picture they posted on trip.com. the room is spacious enough for 3 of us. The toilet is also spacious enough. It is located near the ancient town. The hotel owner/manager is so communicative and kind and really helpful in helping us finding the location. The owner was also very accomodative because we have an urgency that we need to leave earlier and go back to our town. The room is clean, the ambience is nice, overall it was a nice stay."

"The hotel location is excellent and very convenient. We initially thought we’d have to pull our luggage a long way, but we were pleasantly surprised that didi (China’s taxi service) could stop right in front of the hotel! There are plenty of food options nearby, all within walking distance. I like the most is nearby north gate there got alot hotpot choice if u lazy to walk didi also within 2dollar One of the hotel’s friendly (and handsome!) staff even helped us with our luggage, and the check-in process was super quick — we were able to check in immediately. The room was just right and even had a heater, which made our stay very comfortable. For this price, getting such a cozy hotel room is definitely a great choice, especially for foreigners looking to stay near Dali Ancient Town."

"Despite the grey weather the views from this room were wonderful. Very friendly housekeeper. Useful that they can keep your luggage after check out. Not far from train station, near a very nice park!"

"We had a lovely stay here. Everything was great, except the toilet couldn’t flush paper (which is common in the ancient city area, so be prepared!). The host was super friendly and kind—cooked us mi xian for breakfast! Her responses and replies was quick and responsive. We had to catch a train early last day, she prepared breakfast in advance for us. Note: There’s no lift in the building but the host helped carry our luggage. A slow 8-minute walk to the ancient city, perfect for unhurried exploring!) Overall, a charming stay with warm hospitality—just mind the toilet rules!"

"I recently stayed at a hotel in Dali, Yunnan, and had an overall pleasant experience. The cleanliness of the room and common areas was impressive — everything was well-maintained and tidy, which made the stay comfortable and relaxing. The service stood out as one of the highlights. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with directions or local recommendations. They made check-in and check-out smooth and stress-free. But would like to comment on the photoshooting service that this hotel provided, although they stated it’s free, but each room ONLY FREE 5 PIECES NON EDIT photos no matter how many days you stay. So please don’t ask for this service if you don’t want your pocket to have a hole 🤣, would recommend you to have the traditional costume shoot in Lijiang or Shangrila which will cost in cheaper price where they can provide costume rental and full make up. This hotel they charge a very high price for the photoshooting if you want to buy the photos from them. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lijiang, if they like photoshooting. Or else you can stay in other better choices hotels."

"Facilities: The hotel facilities are good. The only drawback is that there is no door in the shower area, and the water will spill outside when taking a shower. Also, the smart toilet is too sensitive. Hygiene: The hygiene is good and very clean. Environment: The environment is very good. It is next to Xindi Coffee. The room has a terrace where you can watch the sunrise. It’s just that it was too hot a few days ago, and the terrace was too sunny during the day. Service: The service is good. The rice noodles for breakfast taste good."

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Even before our arrival, the staff—especially 小慧and another kind gentleman whose name we didn’t catch—were incredibly helpful and considerate. They kept checking in and even sent us the location multiple times to ensure we wouldn’t get lost. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with traditional Chinese elements that create a warm, elegant atmosphere—perfect for photos! We were especially impressed by the attentiveness of the staff. Although we initially missed the hotel’s tea session, they kindly offered us new tickets so we could still enjoy the experience. Truly excellent service. Highly recommended!"

"Loved everything about the hotel, except that everyone in the room can literally see what’s happening in the bathroom because it’s open plan 😅 I guess some people like that. The pool was cold and unusable, would be nice if it was heated. Apart from that, the staff were amazing to try and help with all my inquiries and crazy questions. They tried to help the best they could, even after I checked out and left DaLi. I would come back for the lovely staff. The beds were comfortable and all in room amenities were available as you would a 5 star hotel. Keep all your staff as they are, everyone was lovely in trying to help"

"Good location, short walk to Dali Antient town and a lot of restaurants nearby. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. Friendly responded to all requests. Room is clean and spacious. There was all-day free coffee and tea. Local noodle soup breakfast can be served in room."
