The room is very clean and has all the disposable items. It's the ideal homestay. The public area is also spacious. You can play games with the volunteer ladies. You can see Cangshan Mountain from the rooftop. The scenery is very beautiful. If time is not limited, I really want to stay here for a month. Next time I come to Dali, I will definitely stay in Muyi Da again.

Very satisfied. I didn't like to live in the upper bunk, but there was no lower bunk. Stayed for one night and felt good, and continued for two days. The room was very soundproof. There were nearly 30 people living in the yard (when I signed up for the barbecue event), but it was always quiet. I always thought there were not many people. The room was clean and tidy, and the cleaning was cleaned every day. Between Cangshan and Bohai Sea, near the north gate of the ancient city, 2 kilometers away from the three towers, within walking distance. In short, the perfect homestay. Unfortunately, I bought a ticket to leave Dali in the morning and the whole staff barbecue in the evening. I missed such a good event. The boss is a soldier who entered Tibet in 1993. He is very kind. Generally speaking, the hygiene standard, the service is too good, and the supporting facilities are very good.

The sheets were very clean and had no peculiar smell. It was the first time I stayed in a hostel that didn't smell like a hotel. It felt like sleeping in my own home. The only drawback was that the public bathroom was a bit small. Another point was that there was no one when I checked in. The only person who greeted me was The boss’s cute little kitten. After packing up his things, he went out and went back very late. He didn’t even see the boss or his friends at the hotel. When he came back, my roommate told me that someone had a birthday and left me a piece of cake😭😭 😭I’m so touched, I feel the atmosphere is great

The location is at the east gate of the ancient city, not on the street, which is very good. Because there are carriages and barbecues on the street, pedestrians are very noisy. The owner cleaned the bed room himself and it was very clean. The boss also bought me coffee for free. The boss’s service is probably the best in the whole street!

Looks a bit shabby at first glance but the shower toilet and sink are all working and very clean Room Lovely thick mattress (I've found they are usually quite thin in Chinese hostels so this was a nice surprise). Heater if needed. I'm not entirely sure how the lock on the door is supposed to be done. Overall great atmosphere. The pictures look a little bit rough around the edges but its honestly fine and i think I could stay here a while

Song and Dave speak excellent English and Song especially was very helpful and apologetic about only having a room with two single beds rather than the double we booked (a conflict between bookings made on Trip & C-trip). Nevertheless the beds were comfortable and we slept well. Room was clean and tidy although no toilet paper and the flexible shower broken (large overhead shower working). No kettle in room but community water boiler on ground floor in courtyard. Nice atmosphere in hotel and architecturally satisfying, great views from roof where there is a place to do laundry and hang clothes to dry. Short walk to ancient town, and the neighborhood around the hotel also worth exploring. Recommended.

The pods are really cool and well taken care of, the location is right by the ancient town, and the common area is stylish and friendly. The host was very personable and he even gave me a scooter ride to the bus stop when I left. To find it, the Baidu map location seems not to be correct, but the trip.com map is.
