"Coming to Guangzhou with friends, choosing this hotel was such a smart decision! I have to commend the front desk service; it was incredibly thoughtful. We arrived quite late, so we contacted the hotel in advance for airport pickup, and the driver was perfectly on time, saving us the hassle of finding a taxi. When we left, they even arranged a drop-off at the subway station, which was a huge help with our luggage! Breakfast was also excellent, with a great variety of hot Cantonese dim sum that filled us right up. The room was clean and odor-free, the bedding was comfortable, and we slept instantly after a tiring day of exploring. The location is convenient, and it offers fantastic value for money. Next time my friends visit Guangzhou, we'll definitely stay here again!"

"The worst hotel I have ever been to. The worst experience. The hotel staff first of all is horrible, zero good attitude, if you don’t like this job do another one! Then the situation of the room… unacceptable! Dirty, black mold everywhere, and while I was having a working meeting online a staff member entered even if I said; “do not disturb”, just to change the shampoo. She knocked ones and open the door immediately. It is not acceptable. The hotel didn’t say anything the only thing they say: if we want to change room we need to pay for cleaning fees, while the room is dirty and horrible. They said: sound proof (not true), free shuttle bus 24/7 (not true just in some hours), the WiFi was not working, I found an insect in my bed, and they say it is a good hotel (not true). The worst nightmare ever. Please change your rooms or at least clean them."

"I absolutely loved this room! First off, it has a large window, making the room bright even on a cloudy day – I always appreciate hotels with big windows! Secondly, the toilet seat is heated, and the sink, toilet, and shower are all separated, which is great for a wet/dry design. Thirdly, the TV is huge and casting was fantastic, even if the sound and picture quality weren't the best. If I'm ever on a business trip near Tiyu Xi again, I'll definitely be back!"

"This has been, by far, the best stay I've had in years! Every time I passed by this ZHotel, I was drawn in by its beautiful exterior. It was my first time staying here, and to my surprise, the lobby and rooms were even more stunning and comfortable than I'd imagined, all in an Art Deco style. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly. I got a room type I absolutely adored – super large and incredibly spacious. All the designs and decorations were so beautiful; I just wanted to spend the whole day in the hotel and enjoy it. First, upon entering, the view was spectacular; that 270-degree floor-to-ceiling window view was incredibly calming. Lounging on the sofa was very comfortable too. The bed was also exceptionally comfortable, with the perfect mattress softness and memory foam pillows. The light switches in the room were up-down toggles, which was quite interesting, and there were many types of lighting, from bright to dim, creating a fantastic ambiance. Especially the golden lamps by the bed were exquisite. The green bathroom door complemented the dark green curtains perfectly; everything was delightful to the eye. The bathroom, toilet, and sink were all separated, which was very convenient, and the showerhead design was adorable, like a golden telephone receiver. Beyond the room, the overall hotel experience was excellent. They offered so many complimentary experiences (afternoon tea, coffee, cocktails) and it's connected to Tianyu Plaza, so going out for meals, movies, grocery shopping, or taking the subway meant no need to brave the rain. Such a one-stop leisure experience was incredibly comfortable. I enjoyed the afternoon tea on the day I checked in (it seemed to be pastries from Hema, like Swiss rolls, tiger skin rolls, mochi, and cream horn cakes – delicious!). The afternoon tea restaurant was also very cozy and beautiful, with a great view. It felt so lovely just sitting there, having snacks, and chatting. In the evening, I tried the cocktail bar, and even though it was a complimentary fixed drink, the atmosphere was fantastic. The next day, I also had complimentary coffee, right on the ground floor of the lobby. I could choose from the entire coffee menu and picked a mocha and a coconut latte, both of which were delicious! "Feeling at home" doesn't even begin to describe how much I loved it. ZHotel was as warm as a home, yet more romantic and lavish, like stepping into the world of "The Grand Budapest Hotel." My vacation, full of happiness, ended like this, and I felt so reluctant to check out. I'll definitely be back often!"
