Blindly picked Vanso with a friend and it turned out to be a hidden gem! The small courtyard with its lush greenery is lovely, just like having your own backyard. Perfect for relaxing, sipping coffee, and chatting. The decor is simple and gentle, the bath amenities are high-quality, and every corner is spotlessly clean. The concierge staff are incredibly friendly and approachable; they patiently gave us recommendations for local food and must-visit spots, and were always available when we needed anything. We spent a whole day holed up in our room, enjoying the peace and quiet. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and we even got a sweet treat in the evening. The value for money far exceeded our expectations. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Dali.

The weather during my stay in Dali was quite disappointing, with continuous rain. However, I was lucky enough to book this hotel. Even with bad weather, I could spend the entire day in the room, enjoying the 270-degree panoramic views. It truly helped me escape the city's hustle and bustle and experience Dali's slow pace and tranquility. Although I didn't get to see Dali's sunny skies or the Tyndall effect, I did enjoy the 'blue hour' from the hotel in the evening. It was hard to leave on the last day! Their service was also impeccable. They proactively helped with luggage upon arrival and offered airport shuttle services. On my first day, I was able to check in successfully even before the official check-in time. When I mentioned I hadn't had breakfast, they thoughtfully prepared two portions for me. Both the environment here and the local people made me feel incredibly comfortable. I'll definitely be recommending this place to my friends!

Amazing! The location is right by Erhai Lake, so you can see seagulls and enjoy the sea breeze as soon as you step out. The hotel's facilities and bedding are super comfortable! The owner is really warm and provides excellent service! I'll definitely book here again next time! Overall, it's great value for money. Plus, there are delicious mushroom hot pot and stone grill restaurants just a short walk away. Loved it!

The room exceeded my expectations – it was clean and beautiful. The host was incredibly welcoming, and there are two gentle and adorable cats at the property you can pet to your heart's content. Breakfast had a great variety, and you could communicate any specific requests. The dining times were also very flexible, so coming early or late was never an issue. The guesthouse is right next to Erhai Lake's Xiaoputuo, so you step out to amazing scenery, and it's super convenient to get to all the attractions. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful 1-night stay at this hotel, with a beautiful room facing Erhai Lake. Waking up to the lake view was truly relaxing and memorable. The owner was extremely kind and helpful throughout our stay. She assisted us in renting an e-bike so we could easily get around the area. She also offered us breakfast. As Muslims, we were careful about halal food, so we only had corn and a boiled egg, and she kindly understood when we asked whether the pot had been used to cook pork or not. The owner also helped us with arranging the bus to Dali Railway Station. The bus was scheduled to arrive in front of the hotel at 12:30 PM, and she had already advised us to be ready by 12:25 PM. Unfortunately, we got carried away taking photos at Xiao Putuo with freelance photographers and lost track of time. When we realized we were late, we rushed back—and the owner was already there helping us by bringing all our luggage onto the bus. We managed to catch the bus just in time, with only a few seconds to say goodbye and thank her properly. Her kindness and quick help truly saved us. Overall, this stay was short but very memorable, thanks to the beautiful lake view and the owner’s genuine hospitality. Highly recommended 💙

The typical Bai layout of ”three courtyards and a screen wall” allowed sunlight to stream in, reflecting off the screen wall and into the courtyard, making the entire space bright and warm. Wooden doors and windows, exquisite wood carvings, and delicate paintings—every detail showcased the Bai people's ingenuity. Sitting in the courtyard, looking up, you could see the blue sky and white clouds reflected in the distinctive eaves, a scene so serene that time seemed to stand still. The rooms were thoughtfully decorated, retaining the rustic charm of traditional Bai dwellings while incorporating modern comforts. The beds were soft, and the pure cotton linens were clean and tidy, ensuring a sweet dream from the moment you lay down. The furniture was all natural wood, exuding a subtle woody fragrance. The colorful Bai embroidery hanging on the walls told ancient stories. The service at the guesthouse was impeccable. The owner was incredibly hospitable, providing detailed information about nearby attractions and recommending many local eateries during check-in. During our conversation, I learned that the house is owned by the owner, which explains the affordable price – significantly cheaper than other places in the area! I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family, and I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area!

We had a wonderful stay at Distant Home · Azure View Xunshan Jihai | Full Sea View Luxury Wilderness Homestay and highly recommend it! The room features a stunning Erhai view and Little Putor is only few minutes walking distance. A super comfortable bed that guarantees a good night's sleep. As someone traveling with heavy luggage, having an elevator was an absolute lifesaver. The room comes with all the necessary amenities, and the location makes it very easy to hail a taxi or Didi. Simple breakfast provided was the perfect start to the day. Great value and hospitality!”
