Choosing Yan Yun Hotel was absolutely the best decision for my trip to Dali. My only regret is that I only booked one night and had to leave so soon. The environment here is absolutely stunning, and the service is top-notch. The breakfast was delicious, and they even offered a complimentary afternoon tea set. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful. They also provide electric shuttle service for getting in and out. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Dali!
Following the travel guide provided by the owner, we visited some incredibly scenic spots. The owner also recommended many delicious restaurants and snack bars that offered great taste at reasonable prices. The hotel's location is fantastic, with parking right outside and an elevator, which is super convenient for elderly guests and those with luggage. The owners, a husband and wife duo, are incredibly warm and attentive. They made sure we had plenty of bottled water, and our room was spotless and well-maintained. The decor is stylish and modern, perfect for couples, and the facilities are comprehensive. The hot water supply was excellent with strong water pressure, making for a very comfortable bath in the tub. The smart voice-controlled curtains opened up to a stunning sea view, which was a lovely touch. We were especially touched when the owner offered us a free ride to the airport for our late-night flight, as it was difficult for us to arrange transport with our elderly parents and children. Given the affordable price, the owners' exceptional hospitality, and the cleanliness, this hotel left a deep impression on us. If we ever come back to Dali, we'll definitely choose this place again.
Their service is incredible and the hotel is very clean. Staff were friendly and really helpful, thanks to them for offering a suitable solution for my sick friend who needed more rest.
We didn’t get the time to walk around the hotel, so the pictures I took were mainly the surrounding area which was beautiful. (Didn’t expect to see so many 蓝花 still at the end of May)
As for the room, it was big and spacious. First picture is view, last picture was when we were stargazing. The only things to note is that there isn’t really a place for clothes in the shower area, only a small place to hold shower bottles.
Another would be the need to plug the insect repellent to the switch upon entering the room. We were oblivious at first so there were many mosquitoes in the common area, and thankfully none in the other room.
Finally a tip, you can ask them to transport you to 理想邦 and there is also a discount.
Overall, we had a lovely stay thanks to the hotel’s hospitality☺️
For our Dali trip, I specifically booked a stay at the Dali Ocean Hotel. I had reserved an underwater room, and my daughter absolutely loved it. She spent her time on the bay window watching the fish, practically sleeping and waking up with them!
The hotel also included a complimentary diving experience, but unfortunately, my husband was a bit scared and couldn't go through with it.
The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming. I absolutely love this hotel and will definitely be back!
[Dali Blue and White Sea View Design Hotel | The perfect experience of lying down and watching Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake 🌊✨]
This magical hotel must be given a five-star rating! I was amazed the first moment I checked into the sea view room - it seemed like a flowing landscape painting was hanging outside the panoramic floor-to-ceiling window, Cangshan Mountain was shrouded in mist, and Erhai Lake was sparkling. Every day when I opened my eyes, I could see the healing blue, and at night I could fall asleep to the sound of the waves 🌙
▪️ **The room is full of details**: The 180° viewing bathtub faces Erhai Lake directly, and you feel like you own the entire lake when taking a bath! The bedding is as soft as clouds and any photo taken will look like an Instagram-style blockbuster.
▪️ **The service is comparable to five-star**: The lady at the front desk took the initiative to help with the luggage. When she learned that we were catching an early bus, she specially prepared a portable breakfast in advance. This kind of detail-oriented service really warms my heart💐
▪️ **Excellent location**: 5 minutes walk to the Erhai Lake Ecological Corridor, where you can rent a bicycle and start cycling around the sea! The hotel has its own viewing restaurant. The cross-bridge rice noodles for breakfast are so delicious that they make your eyebrows drop. In the evening, you can watch the pink and purple sunset covering the sky from the terrace. The romance value is immediately maxed out!
Next time I come to Dali, I will definitely go there! If I have to find a flaw...it's probably that it's so beautiful that you don't want to go out 😭 Sisters, listen to me, choose a room with a sea view! You will come back to thank me! !
I had an amazing stay at the Cliff Hotel. The property is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views and a relaxing atmosphere that made the entire experience feel luxurious and peaceful. The amenities were excellent, everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed for guests to enjoy.
What really stood out most was the service. The staff was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and helpful throughout my stay. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.
Overall, a fantastic experience and I would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a beautiful hotel with outstanding service and great amenities.
The hotel sits on a cliff overlooking the Erhai Lake.
Our room got a free upgrade to a large room, which we are very happy with! The bed has an incredible view of the lake as well.
The top of the hotel has this photography area that has the lake as a background. The breakfast was sent to the room. We requested for halal breakfast, and they accommodated well with veggies and eggs. They don’t have bread, tho 😭
Shout out to our attentive butler, picking us up at the train station, waited for us till 1am at night to open the doors for us and is available 24/7. Truly appreciate the services!
The hotel is a bit far to the Ancient City, so you have to remember that when you make your plans. The DiDi was a bit more expensive comparing to staying in the inner city, but well worth it.
After so many days in Yunnan, this B&B was by far the best place I've stayed. The environment is lovely; I could see the ocean right from my window. There's an outdoor balcony with a rocking chair, and the curtains are smart-controlled. Inside, there's a bathtub, a fridge, and a dressing table, which was convenient for doing my makeup. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area and a smart toilet. Most importantly, the service was exceptional. Whenever I called the front desk, I received an immediate response. They even gave me a small gift even though I only stayed one night. It was a fantastic experience, and if I ever come back to Dali, I'd definitely choose this place again! 🥰🫶🏻
I was really happy with the room's decor. The view outside was great; even though I didn't get a full sea view room, the partial sea view was still lovely. If I get to stay here again, I'll definitely choose a full sea view room. The front desk staff (the 'little brother' as we say in Chinese for a young male staff member) were super friendly and attentive. All in all, I was quite satisfied. They offered some complimentary travel photos, which I thought turned out pretty well, so I ended up buying a few more. It was a very happy and memorable vacation! 😁😁

AAnonymous UserMuch better than the photo. No air conditioning, but not cold.
No hot water in the morning. It is recommended to add disposable slippers. Rubber slippers are recommended to change to a clean look.
GGuest UserIt is highly recommended that tourists who come to Ideal Bang or Haidong to live in this house. It is really clean and the small courtyard is very comfortable. I feel that it is not enough for a day. The most comfortable place to live in Dali, the room is also big, squatting toilets and toilets are available, taking into account different living habits, very good ~
GGuest UserAs someone visiting Dali for the first time and checking online reviews for everything, here's my honest guesthouse experience (the best photo spot is under the bridge stones):
1: As a city dweller, I don't know if you understand the value of automatic toilets and smart speakers, but this was a huge plus.
2: The hotel's shower gel and toothpaste are brand names, proving the owner is a woman of good taste. She's a cool girl, the kind of independent, strong-willed woman. I ran into her several times at the hotel, and I liked her 😘
3: The receptionist was incredibly kind and welcoming when she greeted us and saw us off. She was also very thorough when communicating by phone, explaining all the important details and making recommendations. It was a great experience.
4: The environment here is really nice, perfect for taking photos. Cars aren't allowed, so the ecology feels great. The owner is also very kind; she even invited us to the rooftop of the restaurant next door while we were taking photos—I have to share those pictures!
5: It's also very close to Ideal City!
GGuest UserI often travel and have high requirements for hotels. I compared more than 10 hotels online that day and visited several of them in person. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw this one. The hotel is brand new and the whole house is smart. The boss is a decoration wizard. It can be seen that the decoration is perfect everywhere and very user-friendly. There are washing machines and clothes drying areas. The rooftop is a leisure area. Friends can go up to watch Erhai Lake together, drink beer 🍺 and eat barbecue. Book a room with sea view and open the curtains to see Erhai Lake. It is beautiful. The double-layer soundproof glass makes the room very quiet. You can also open the starry sky ceiling at night. It is very romantic. Children downstairs can play in the water and catch fish by the Erhai Lake. There is also a row of coffee streets. It is very pleasant to sit down and watch Erhai Lake and drink a cup of coffee. The photos were taken when it was almost dark that day. The original camera was taken directly without any filters. The sea view will be more beautiful if you take them earlier😍

Once again, we say goodbye with that familiar ache of reluctance in our hearts.
Yet this farewell is softened by a unexpected tenderness—a beautiful twist of fate. A sudden bout of altitude sickness in Lijiang forced us to alter our plans and return to Dali. Little did we know this detour would lead us to the most wonderful surprise: XingMu Villa, tucked away on the green slopes of Haidong. Perhaps this was destiny's gentle hand at work all along?
We were truly blessed to meet the villa's kind-hearted owners, whose genuine warmth made us feel as though we had returned to a home we never knew we had.
The goodbye was especially moving. When our driver, Master He, arrived, the owners personally came out to see us off. We shared joyful smiles in a farewell photo, and they gifted us my favorite rose tea—a touching gesture I'll always remember. The hostess, aware of my recent knee injury, carefully helped me into the car, her eyes filled with such sincere care, as if I were her own. When she said how much she enjoyed hosting us and how special we were to her, my heart echoed every word.
Though every wonderful journey must eventually end, the memories we've made here will stay with us forever. As our car carried us away, the gentle scent of rose tea still lingered, a fragrant reminder of this heartwarming chapter.
Until we meet again, XingMu Villa. May you continue to shine brightly, and may every traveler who finds their way to your doors experience the same extraordinary warmth that embraced us during our stay.
SSichuyoudangdebeijingdaniuI booked the room for my two daughters who travelled to Dali alone. The owner had arranged someone to pick them up. My girls loved the place and the staff were all lovely. The rooms itself was large, with a huge bed and balcony. It was super clean and my daughters were very impressed but the design. They were also very grateful the owner organised a car and tour guide for them for a very reasonable price at the last minute. The breakfast was quite authentic and freshly made and they even had homemade chilli sauce with fruit and milk.
RRlmeWe had a pleasant stay at this place (:
The staffs are super friendly and kind!! The breakfast is super yummy, they offer free afternoon tea, help to carry luggage, photography services, and even sent us all the way to the train station.
The room is very spacious, bed and pillows are comfortable, room is clean with good amenities provided.
The only negative part was the bad soundproofing, spoilt door (hard to close) and the wear and tear of the rooms and the outdoor areas which were not entirely true to photos as advertised 🥲
But overall we had a great stay! (:
AAnonymous UserI stumbled upon this incredible hotel in Dali, and it felt like a dream. Opening the window revealed stunning views of Cangshan Snow and Erhai Moon. The shimmering water in the morning mist and boats returning at sunset, every moment was like a scene from a movie. The room has a minimalist design with international brand furniture, including collector-grade sofas – I absolutely loved it! The attention to detail is remarkable, showing how much effort the owner and staff put in. The butler was warm and attentive, helping us plan our itinerary and book specialty restaurants. They even gave us homemade flower cakes when we left. Next time I'm in Dali, I'm definitely staying here again!
MM352970****The room has an amazing view; you don't even need to go out to get great photos. It's a smart home, and the bedding is super comfortable. The room is very new. This has been the most satisfying stay I've had in the past few days.
GGuest UserLangyue Hotel is beautifully situated by Erhai Lake in Wenbi Village. The garden at the entrance is absolutely stunning, with every corner offering a fantastic photo opportunity. The staff at the hotel were also incredibly welcoming and attentive.
I arrived at the hotel after 10 PM, feeling quite unwell due to motion sickness from the journey. The hotel was almost fully booked at the time, with only one room left. The front desk staff member was incredibly thoughtful; he proactively helped me with my luggage, first escorted me to my room to rest and relax, and then brought a QR code up to my room later for check-in. This was truly exceptional service.
The next morning at breakfast, the lovely lady in charge of the breakfast area enthusiastically helped me put on a Bai ethnic hat, patiently showing me how to wear it more elegantly. Her service was both warm and patient.
The room itself was also very comfortable, and the garden and balcony offered beautiful views. It was a stunning photo opportunity in itself; I filmed several short videos and took some photos to share.
Once again, thank you, Langyue Hotel, for not only providing comfortable accommodation but also delivering a truly uplifting and memorable experience. 💖
