Ctrip booked two double-bed rooms, ready to check in at the front desk, and only one double bed was answered. The Ctrip customer service was always busy. Later, a customer service called me to talk to the hotel front desk and gave them to the hotel. After a confirmation code inside, the hotel found another section of the department, or a double bed. The customer service phone changed the hotel front desk to a large bed. The front desk refused, said it could not be changed, and finally had to wait for Ctrip to negotiate, about an hour before and after. Finally, I went to the hotel on-duty manager to explain the situation before I was able to check in. I got my room card at 8:50 pm and 10:00 pm. After a long day of fatigue, it was a bit ugly to encounter this. The location is relatively close and the price is relatively cheap. After all, Hilton is a big name, but this type of hotel has to charge and expensive for breakfast. I still think that holiday inn and crown plaza are better and cost-effective.

It's very cheap to take a taxi to the city attractions. If you want to experience the subway, it's not too far to walk. I feel that the road is still very safe. The reception is perfect. Clean, the view from the window is beautiful. The air conditioning is very good!

The toilets are relatively small and the hotel is very new. You must ask for water from the front desk and you need to take a taxi to the city center. But the price is right and close to the airport.
Our family traveled to Washington by car in February, and this hotel is highly recommended. Self-parking is 44 dollars per night, and guest parking is 49 dollars per night, which is a bit expensive. If you park by yourself in the underground parking lot, you need to spend time looking for a parking space. The hotel has its own shuttle bus to the subway station, which is quite convenient. You can reach tourist check-in points in the city within a few subway stops. Cleanliness and service are average at Renaissance.
The room is large and can accommodate an extra bed. The location is very good, just on the edge of the ring line, the upper and lower ring lines are convenient, and it is very convenient to go to the shopping mall attractions. With a parking garage, there is plenty of parking.

Had a nice time with the family. The hotel was a nice getaway for a staycation with family. We had someone in a wheelchair and found the room easily accessable for them. It was clean and the check in was easy. The room were big and we had a view of the city I would recommend this hotel.
We had a bad Airbnb experience and needed a reliable, comfortable place to stay for the night. This hotel is at a Golf Course and it is very beautiful!! We got a great price but I chose 1 King instead of 2 Queens on accident. They we're super happy and kindly changed the room at no cost to us.
When we got to our room, a sticker was over our door showing that the room had been cleaned and no one had entered. The beds were huge, plush and very clean. I slept like a baby. The room was very clean, too and the A/C was pumping out the cool air. The room was clean, quiet and cool. We enjoyed it very much!

BBing19I am glad I didn’t pay full price ($350/night) for this. Great location and everything looks nice from the outside and the lobby. The room is decent from the looks but once you stay in there, you will realized nothing is working properly.
The AC/Heater was not working, the control for the AC/Heater doesn’t work so the AC was blasting cold air all night on NYE!!! So we were both freezing and it was 2am!
The TV only have 5 channels and 2 are the same as the other 2, so in reality only 3 channels. The TV quality is also very outdated. Feel like we were watching TV from the 80s/90s when it was the actual 2024 NYE concerts. And on the 5th channel, it is just showing how DirectTV subscription is expired, like what?
The Wifi in the room is not free unless you are a Bonvoy member.
There was less than a quarter roll of toilet paper on the Tp dispenser and they also didn’t provide a second roll. The body wash pump was empty and the shampoo ran out.
The bottom side of the toilet seat looks very filthy as if they haven’t clean that part of the toilet seat in a while. The floor of the bathroom was also very dirty.
We usually check if we can ask for a late check-out the night before, but we called the front desk with no answers. When they finally answered, they said we have to call back at 7am to let us know. Ehh Hello? The whole point of getting a late check out is so we can sleep in? So I had to set an alarm to call back at 7am to get a 1pm check out. It was a bit annoying.
This was a big disappointment for me because this was supposed to be a nice hotel from Marriott as the Autograph Collection. Especially for $350 a night in the middle of Old Town Alexandria, I had expected better quality.
Not to mention the chaos during check-in. Seems like there were only 4 workers there for HUNDReDs of customer. People were angry about being stuck in the parking garage and no one can help them and they gave a lady a room that currently already have someone checked-in. Apparently the lady opened the door when the guy was showering in the room. What a chaos!
JjulieThe room was beautiful and comfortable. We loved the location. But we had a very unnerving experience with our room. We noticed the deadbolt lock did not actually work on our door. I like using this for extra protection. The last night of our 5 night stay we had a woman come into our room while we were trying to get to sleep due to an early flight the next morning. She said she was sorry that she bothered us and thought this was her room apparently she told the front desk that and they just gave her the key TO OUR ROOM!?? Would you not at least get some ID or verification that this was the correct room. This was very unsettling and we were nervous about our safety and left early for our flight. also some things to know there is No daily maid service, towel exchange or coffee replenishment and we had to ask for toilet paper.

GGuest UserSince I had previously stayed in other houses of the chain, the meter ladder was up. This house couldn't travel, it remained below expectations. The room used by me was quite small, as well as the bathroom. It was very quiet and clean, but it seemed unpleasant, as did the breakfast presentation. There is no interesting way to wash wash for departing guests, as the receptionist was not from the area, he could not give any information to the washing salon.
RRiyuezhongguangwuzhimingThe suite is very large and can accommodate 6 people. The room has a terrace and a sea view. It is very close to the beach. The hotel restaurant is also very good, specializing in seafood. The transportation is very convenient. Parking is charged.
GGuest UserCelebrating my birthday was a great experience. The room was oceanfront. The shower was incredible but the room was very small. There was minimal furniture so everything must stay in the luggage or on the floor. The bed was very comfortable and tv was large but there was nowhere to sit and only 1 nightstand. I suggest a mini fridge and 2 nightstands. Other then that I would recommend checking the Moxy out . Every employee seemed to enjoy working there and everyone was friendly and helpful
YYonto DYEnjoy the Tyson’s Corner area witch’s stay at the Double Tree. The silver line makes the trip from the airport easy, so you don’t have to worry about an expensive Uber. The staff is great; but be sure to ask for your room to be cleaned and any water bottles you may need. Aside from that, it’s a good place to stay whether your visiting DC or northern Virginia. I would also suggest going across the street to the mall. It’s been upgraded with a very large selection of great food.
GGuest UserBooked at a discount but still about $250 per night, plus parking. Very disappointing. Room was clean but more at a Motel 6 level. No bedspread or extra blanket, uninspired b/w sketches on the walls, no ”Colonial Williamsburg” ambiance, defective TV remote, cramped bathroom with no tub, carpet that appeared threadbare, and no housekeeping until 3pm. Reasonable if under a hundred a night but at the prices charged? Avoid, avoid, avoid.

GGuest UserThe hotel was average and a little disappointed for my anniversary. I paid for breakfast and wasn’t told the Christmas Eve breakfast was reservations only. Needless to say I was extremely disappointed and the breakfast they offered was not up to par from what I was offered the day prior.
The receptionist lady tried to solve the issue and was very nice but the issue wasn’t solved.
GGuest UserOne day f the best locations to stay while in Williamsburg. The housing is top rate with all amenities including washer and dryers, full kitchen, fireplace and many other extras. For the rate you get a house away from gone.
