The hotel is a bit old and a little far from the city center. However, ordering a Grab is very convenient, and you can get picked up and dropped off right at the entrance. Overall, I still think it's pretty good. Thumbs up! 👍

Guest UserDon’t booking this hotel through the travel agency online especially this travel agency ; it is Super inhumane, once you make a reservation; No matter what uncontrollable events occur to you ; there is no way to cancel tthe booking even the travel agency doesn’t confirm with the hotel yet;
Even when you apply for cancellation, there will be no refund, even if no one check-in . No matter how Ctrip negotiates,with them ; they will not cancel the terms of use of this dominant platform; Although the hotel has a free cancellation policy;
if anything happens, you will not cancel or receive a refund; It is not allowed to modify the name of the occupant or the reservation date. A particularly malicious agent.
Stay away from this travel agency.

Guest UserUnfortunately for me I didn’t get to stay here as I was notified this wasn’t available after I had booked it. Though I was redirected to another accommodation in a different location not far by the same host however this happened at midnight and I couldn’t say no as I was fatigued from the travel. Where I stayed wasn’t the same offered from this booking however the host did his best to accommodate me to the best of his ability, even upgrading my room the next day and allowing me to check out very late as my flight was at 11pm. Though it didn’t work out at first, it did in the end. Photos are from the upgraded room.

Guest UserI had a great time staying at Valero. Our suite was spacious and clean. The Wi-Fi worked very well, and the shower was working properly. We enjoyed the clean pool, and I had a great time in their well-equipped gym with a view. Right outside the hotel are a lot of shops, and it is just walking distance to Ayala Triangle Park. Will definitely recommend this hotel to others! Thank you!

Renee AgnesStayed here with my husband since we had somewhere nearby to go, and overall it was a good choice. The location is very convenient, with lots of restaurants and a convenience store nearby. We had a car so it was easy for us to get around, but it might be less accessible for commuters. The hotel staff were also very nice and accommodating, which we appreciated.
On the downside, the gym and pool weren’t very convenient to access since you still have to go down to the lobby to inform them before using them. The shower temperature was also inconsistent and would suddenly turn cold even on a warm setting. What we enjoyed the most was the breakfast buffet! The food was super yummy and definitely one of the best for its price. Overall, for a hotel in a business district, it’s sulit and worth it.

I had a pleasant stay at Shore Residences. The location is excellent, with easy access to shopping malls, restaurants, and nearby attractions. The price was reasonable and offered good value for the location.
The unit was generally comfortable and met my expectations. However, the kitchen equipment could be improved. There was only one frying pan available, which made cooking difficult and inconvenient for guests who prefer to prepare their own meals.
The service was acceptable, although there is room for improvement in terms of responsiveness and guest support.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay because of the great location and reasonable price. With some improvements to the kitchen facilities and service quality, the experience could be even better. I would consider staying here again in the future.

Nice hotel tucked a little way outside Manila. If you like somewhere a bit quieter but still within reach of the downtown of Manila this would be a good choice.
Room was comfortable and the bed was cozy. Plenty to like about this hotel. The gym was very small and inadequate but the pool was nice. Good breakfast buffet.

KaixerRichmonde Hotel Ortigas is a well-aged hotel that has clearly stood the test of time.
I originally booked a Standard Room via Trip.com and decided to pay extra to upgrade to a Junior Suite upon arrival. It was absolutely worth it. One of the experienced staff recommended a room with an excellent view, and the scenery did not disappoint.
The bed is very comfortable, perfect for a good night’s rest. The pillows, however, are on the softer side; I personally stacked three pillows to achieve better neck support. The air-conditioning is very powerful—almost freezing at times. I wasn’t entirely sure how to adjust it, and it seems to be set in Fahrenheit, but it works extremely well for those who enjoy a cold room.
All the room lighting works as intended. The lights are on the warm, dim (orange) side, which seems intentionally designed to match the hotel’s classic and cozy ambience. It gives the room a calm, relaxing feel, especially at night.
One small suggestion would be to provide additional plastic trash bags in the room and bathroom. I use food delivery services quite frequently during my stay and prefer to clear waste daily for cleanliness.
The Junior Suite comes with a larger Smart TV, which was a pleasant surprise. You can easily log in to your own Netflix account—watching shows in bed felt like having a mini private cinema in the room. Extremely comfortable and enjoyable.
The gym is a big plus—open from 6am to 9pm and almost always empty. It honestly felt like I had the entire gym to myself, which made workouts very pleasant. The swimming pool is currently closed for renovation, which is understandable.
While the room is generally clean and comfortable, it could benefit from renovation and deeper cleaning. The wooden doors, curtains, desks, and drawers are showing their age and would greatly improve the overall experience if refreshed. That said, for a hotel that is over 25 years old, it has aged remarkably well.
The location is excellent—one of the best aspects of this hotel. There are plenty of food and convenience options nearby, including 7-Eleven, Dunkin’ Donuts, Starbucks, Pancake House, and more. SM Megamall is just a short walk away, making shopping, dining, and commuting extremely convenient.
Most importantly, the service from the staff is outstanding. There are warm greetings everywhere you go, and the staff are consistently polite, professional, and helpful. Their hospitality truly enhances the overall stay and makes guests feel welcomed.
I will be trying their breakfast buffet soon and will update my review afterward to share whether it exceeds expectations.
Overall, Richmonde Hotel Ortigas offers great value, comfort, excellent service, and an unbeatable location. I would gladly recommend it to travelers who appreciate classic charm paired with genuine Filipino hospitality.

The location is excellent, and the rooftop bar with its amazing view is simply amazing. The room was very clean, as were the hotel’s common areas. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and polite. The breakfast was absolutely delicious.
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and will definitely choose it again on our next trip to Makati. Thank you!

Resty NavarroOur 2nights stay is super great..the hotel is an old school but they still keep the cleanliness and the 5star hotel vibe with the pretty and hospitable staff...knowing the hotel is part of the manila hotel group they kept the standard..the room is different from the pics..its is big where you dont bump into one another while going around..bathroom one of my fav because of the bathtub...spacious cabinet for the clothes and baggage...over all it is 10 for our family..breakfast buffet..OMG worth the price...they never repeat the menu each day...my kid is a picky eater but she enjoyed the selections of food...everyday there is BACON.
Location wise it is just less than 5mins walk to the museums...if you love walking it is near Intramuros , Binondo, Quiapo Church.
No problem when you get hungry at night..there are lots of resto and food stall just outside the hotel.
Worth our stay..SURELY WILL BOOK AGAIN FOR A LONGER STAY🥰🥰♥️♥️♥️♥️
