An excellent hotel, spacious, clean and very comfortable rooms, international TV channels (including TVE), magnificent buffet breakfast, indoor parking (40DHM) per night, extremely friendly staff, located next to the shopping center and Macdonald, in the Same Boulevard, easy to get to the Medina,
Hotel location is not far from the parking lot, about 200-300 meters walk. However, it is difficult to carry out the large baggage alley stone road. It is recommended to pay a tip to hire a small cart for about 20 dirhams. Sometimes if there is more baggage, it will bargain. There is no more than 4 big names, Li is generally 20DH. The hotel belongs to the Fez Traditional Courtyard B&B. The room on the first floor was slightly ventilated and the bedding was a bit tidal. Breakfast is on the terrace and it is very romantic.
What made me very unhappy was that on the first morning, I knew that the B&B did not include breakfast, so I had already walked to the street when I ran into the boss, who stopped me and asked me why I didn't have breakfast, ”It's included”. Confirm it's included again and again, and then go back to the B&B for breakfast. As a result, when I left the store, I received an additional bill of 100 dirhams. The boss said it was your breakfast. Isn't the question repeatedly confirmed included? The boss began to use sign language to excuse him from not knowing English, and used Google to translate it into his language, and began to pretend that he was illiterate and unable to read.
I'm very, very, very upset about that. It is not a matter of amount.
The 14th century house, the building itself is very beautiful and amazing. Breakfast is on the top of the building, the scenery is great, and you can see a large area of medina. The room facilities are also good, basically have everything they should. But the old house also has problems. The soundproofing is too poor. There is a room on the second floor that can be heard up and down by the elevator, and the noise in the aisle will be loud. It was already evening on the day of arrival, and when I entered the house, I rushed into the smell of disinfectant water. The biggest breakdown is that there are 4 power jumps in 2 nights. This kind of thing happens in such a house is really scary. When the staff said that this had never happened before, it made people feel even more terrifying. The traffic is fairly convenient, you can park nearby, and you don’t have to drag your luggage for too long. But this location is actually quite far away from the regular old city activity area, and the shortcuts in the old city don't dare to go at night. We wanted to take a taxi on the side of the road at about four or five o'clock. It was difficult to take a taxi. It seemed that the taxis were full of people. Leaving in the morning, I had to take a taxi to the CTM station. Since it is difficult to call a petit taxi at this location during the day, I asked the front desk to help book a private car. It takes about ten minutes and 100dhr. If you know you have been killed, you can only use this method.
The girl at the front desk is very dedicated and feels like she is sitting there day and night. If you have any questions, just ask her, but it makes people feel that pushing dinner and spa is a bit too much, but I don’t say anything if I refuse. Woke up the morning before leaving and helped us pack breakfast.
The location was hard to find. Once found, the Riad is definitely a reminder of historical significance as a palace.
It has not been updated as far as bathroom and privacy in the room( voices carry from floor to floor).
The breakfast service was very good and the staff were very courteous, they spoke both French and English .

Very friendly service. They texted me right back via WhatsApp regarding questions. Late check in possible. Breakfast ist great, however normally not included with Trip.com. The lobby is very big for a Medina Riad. The terrasse offers a great view. Room and everything else is very clean and looks renovated. Definitely one of the upper-class Riads in Medina -of course also not the cheapest one.5/5 stars
The courtyard is quite beautiful, the breakfast is quite rich, the reception is very warm and it is a perfect and enjoyable stay. It is a 5-minute walk from the Blue Gate and a 10-minute walk from the bus stop to Chefchaouen. Oh, the scenery that the roof garden looks out is beautiful. Fine snacks and postcards were also given when leaving the store.

RR-SV- a huge disadvantage is the location of the hotel. It is surrounded on all sides by highways. If you get a room with windows facing the street, then the noise and smell from cars and motorcycles until late at night and at dawn will not let you get a good rest. Keep this in mind when booking;
+ the courtyard is very beautiful and protected from all sides by the hotel building. If the room windows overlook this courtyard, then you will not hear the noise from cars and motorcycles;
- the hotel is very far from the main attractions of the city and is suitable only for travelers by car;
+ the hotel has an internal free and excellent parking, plenty of spaces;
- there are few dishes to choose from for breakfast, one type of porridge, stewed rice and vegetables;
- the coffee from the coffee machine tastes very bad and bitter, it is impossible to drink;
+ good tea for breakfast in a Moroccan teapot, I advise you to drink it instead of coffee;
- in general, I would not recommend the hotel. For the same money, you can find much better.
GGuest UserTucked away in the labyrinth alleys of the Medina, Riad Algila transports one into a world of tranquility & elegance. The riad's meticulously adorned courtyard with gentle tricking of water from the fountain, swaying green trees and intricate tile work serves as a peaceful sanctuary from the bustling city outside.
Our 2 day stay was nothing short of enchanting. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, adorned with traditional Moroccan decor with modern amenities, provided a luxurious retreat after a day of exploration. The staff always attentive with insightful recommendations, made all the difference to our stay.
Riad Algila truly embodies the essence of Moroccan hospitality offering a respite of calm and beauty amidst the vibrant tapestry of Fes.
TTallie LemesThis is a hidden gem of Fes 😍 we were very well treated and the room is cosy and beautiful. The shower head needs something to hold it in place so water does not splash all around but apart from that everything else was perfect. The night receptionist was amazing to make us some breakfast bags for our early trip the next day, and he helped with a taxi and all. My friend has done the hamman and loved it. Well recommended!

GGuest UserThe homestay is in the old city, it is relatively deep, and some are not easy to find, especially we arrived at night. No one in the small alley is a cat, but I panic. Entering the homestay, it is a traditional North African residence with a large patio, very unique, the room is very quiet, there is a unique flavor of Arabic spices. Especially recommended is the local special breakfast prepared by the boss and the proprietress. Dining on the roof terrace is really an exotic style, the overall recommendation!
