Negative: - staffs English is not good, they still use cellphone translation - response time at reception for a a keycard replacement was slow - you can see that the corners in the rooms and bar are not thorough cleaned and that although it’s a fairly new hotel, it already looks a little run down here and there - in one of two rooms has been smoked before, although it’s a nonsmoking floor - waiter at breakfast argued that the water will cool down when I asked for cold water and he brought hot, instead of bringing cold water when I asked. After further arguing he finally brought a cup of cold water. - hotel cannot issue an invoice or fapiao so you have to go via Ctrip, which is an additional annoying step Positive: - got a WeChat contact who spoke English and was very helpful and asked if I want to change the room with the smoke smell - breakfast is great - elevators are arriving fast - view is great Have not tried the pool or gym.

We booked a suite with a 270-degree view, with a river on one side and a city view on the other, which was great. Sunny in the lobby was very friendly when we checked in. She took the initiative to introduce us to the surrounding delicacies, wrote them down in detail on a small piece of paper, and sent us some fruit. The breakfast on the second day was also very rich. I especially want to say that because my second sister Hongdou had red bean paste in Wuhu the day before, I saw it in the hotel this morning, so I was very excited. However, I felt that there were not enough red beans, so I asked the waiter Mavis if I could add some red beans. I thought it was impossible, but the enthusiastic Mavis immediately went to the kitchen to look for it, and found that there were only cold red beans, so she immediately helped us steam them, so that we could enjoy a very satisfying breakfast. My experience at the InterContinental Hefei this time was fantastic! Service manager Maria was incredibly helpful, providing attentive butler service throughout my stay. The room had a great view, overlooking the lake and Intime City. The round bathtub facing the floor-to-ceiling windows offered an absolutely stunning view. The location is absolutely top-notch. It's a 10-minute walk to the Hefei Grand Theatre, and a 15-minute taxi ride directly to the high-speed rail station. Plus, Intime City is right across the street, making it super convenient to grab a Kwangka bubble tea during an evening stroll.

My stay at Xihai Hotel during my Huangshan trip far exceeded my expectations! Located at an altitude of 1600 meters in the core scenic area, I just had to open my window to see unique pines, strange rocks, and a surging sea of clouds. The service was amazing: the butler was attentive throughout, proactively sending weather updates and sunrise times, and even planning my routes. They even provided down jackets for climbing free of charge – the attention to detail was exceptional. The restaurant buffet offered a wide variety, and the Huizhou cuisine was authentic; to find this quality high up in the mountains was a delightful surprise. The location is incredibly convenient, close to the Grand Canyon, Paiyun Pavilion, Danxia Peak, and 'Monkey Gazing at the Sea' – no long commutes needed to catch the sunrise and sunset. To stay this comfortably at the summit of Huangshan is incredibly good value! I'll definitely stay here again next time, highly recommended!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! The hotel is located on a mountain where temperatures can be a bit chilly, but they thoughtfully provided insulated jackets, which was a really warm and considerate touch. The buffet offered a wide variety of dishes with generous portions, and the price was very reasonable – great value for money. We happened to visit during a rainy spell in Huangshan and thought we'd be bored, but to our surprise, the hotel had organized plenty of activities. We were fully immersed and had a wonderfully comfortable experience overall. Highly recommend!

The breakfast is rich in variety, with a reasonable combination of Chinese and Western styles, and the hot food tastes fresh, which can fully meet the needs of different tastes. I especially want to praise the staff, whether it is helping to carry luggage or patiently answering surrounding travel guides, the service is considerate and efficient. The location is also great, with convenient transportation, and the surrounding business districts and attractions are close at hand. I have to give a shout-out to Mindy, our butler, for making our stay at The Langham Hefei absolutely perfect. Her service was meticulous and thoughtful from start to finish. Before we even arrived, she proactively reached out to understand our needs and arranged a quiet, comfortable room for us. Check-in was efficient and seamless, and she was patient and gentle throughout. During our stay, she was incredibly responsive to all our requests, proactively reminding us about meal times and travel plans. Her attention to detail made us feel completely at ease. Mindy was professional, courteous, and warm, truly embodying The Langham's high-quality service, which added so much warmth and pleasant surprises to our trip. The hotel itself is elegant, well-equipped, and impeccably clean. Combined with Mindy's attentive service, it truly felt like a home away from home. Facilities: As a five-star hotel, the facilities are indeed a bit old. I stayed on the 23rd floor, and it was fairly well-maintained. There's a bathtub, and the faucets for the sinks are Hansgrohe. However, the showerhead wasn't great, and the air conditioning definitely wasn't up to par. Hygiene: The hygiene was acceptable. Environment: It's pretty standard for a five-star hotel. Service: The service was impeccable, truly five-star excellent! Because the initial room assignment couldn't avoid the elevated highway view, they upgraded my room type and even provided access to the executive lounge and mini-bar service. Breakfast: For a five-star hotel, the buffet breakfast was just average.

Environment: The common areas are very grand, with magnificent crystal chandeliers and large-scale art decorations that perfectly convey the luxurious feel of an old-school five-star hotel. Service: Staying during Golden Week meant the hotel was under a lot of pressure, but they handled it well, and the quality of service was maintained.
