We absolutely loved our experience at Xihai hotel. The level and quality of customer service was incredible, and the staff did everything to make us feel special.
Thank you to Kora who communicated all the necessary information to us clearly including the forecast for sunrise the next morning (a 15 minute walk up towards Danxia peak). The hotel also provides complementary down jackets for cold weather.
The rooms are lovely, and the food at the restaurant is buffet style but very nice and good variety.
The hotel also has several daily activities - I highly recommend the face changer show in the evening!
Thanks again to everyone who hosted us at the hotel!

First of all, the environment is beautiful, the service is very good, especially the front desk and reception staff are very enthusiastic, the aunt in the room is also very good, smiling all the time. The room is not particularly new, the toilet door is not closed tightly, there is a gap, it is quite embarrassing for family play.
Then let's talk about the shortcomings. A five-star hotel, the most expensive hotel in Tongling, this breakfast really looked around and found that the only meat was white chicken, the hot dishes were all vegetables, and the noodles didn't even have toppings! ! ! ! ! Maybe the hotel is afraid that the guests will eat too much and the obesity index will exceed the standard? It is recommended that the hotel send the staff in charge of breakfast to visit Mobert opposite you to learn what their breakfast is like. Its price is only half of yours. How much meat, cakes and snacks are there for breakfast. Your breakfast is really shameful! It may not even catch up with the breakfast of the All Seasons. Your breakfast is really sorry for the enthusiastic staff

Service is good and personal are nice.
Would say all good but they seem to allow people to smoke in the lobby?!
Mentioned that to staff and she apologised while she did nothing to stop those smokers.

This trip to Hefei was for a concert, and after scouting out a few hotels near the stadium, I ultimately chose the InterContinental. It definitely proved to be the right decision!
We landed in Hefei that morning and arrived at the hotel before the official check-in time. However, the lovely lady at the front desk was kind enough to check if any rooms were ready. Once confirmed, she patiently helped us check in. She also knew we were there for a concert and thoughtfully provided us with some gifts and raincoats – a gesture we truly appreciated, even though it didn't rain that day!
It was too hot to venture outside, so we ended up ordering a lot of takeout. Each delivery was promptly brought up to our room. We ordered quite frequently, which must have kept the staff busy, so a big thank you to everyone for their hard work!
The hotel also provides a shuttle service, though it needs to be booked in advance. We forgot to make a reservation, but thankfully, we were still able to catch a taxi in the end.
Furthermore, the staff at the Happy Hour executive lounge were outstanding. On our first day, despite our tight schedule, they were able to accommodate us with an adjusted time slot. Even though we only stayed for a brief moment, we found their thoughtfulness incredibly heartwarming!
Our room was also perfectly arranged, offering a great view of Swan Lake right outside the window. We were lucky to have fantastic weather, which made the scenery absolutely stunning!
Lastly, I want to reiterate my gratitude to all the staff for their hard work and dedication. Thank you all, and we hope to see you again on our next trip to Hefei!
The first time I stayed at the Pingtian Lake Peninsula Hotel, I was completely attracted! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I felt the warmth of home. The hotel has a great view of Pingtian Lake. The room design is elegant. When you open the window, you can see the lake and mountains like an ink painting. The mist in the morning and the sunset in the evening are so beautiful that people don’t want to leave~
I especially want to praise my exclusive housekeeper Michelle! 💖From booking to check-in, she followed up attentively throughout the whole process, communicated needs in advance, and carefully arranged the itinerary. She was warmly greeted upon arrival. During the stay, whether she asked about the surrounding tour routes or needed to send extra supplies late at night, she always replied to the message in seconds and solved it efficiently.
The hotel facilities are also a plus! The bedding is as soft as clouds, the smart home makes life super convenient, and the local dishes in the lake view restaurant are authentic and exquisite. It is a 5-minute walk to walk around the lake. It is far away from the hustle and bustle but has convenient transportation. It is simply a perfect combination of vacation and business.
Thank you Michelle and the team for making this trip full of beautiful memories! I will definitely choose this place again when I come to Chizhou next time, and I will recommend it to all my friends~❤️

You need to use the side lane to reach the lobby area of the hotel, and the traffic is usually heavy, aggravated by rude driving. The room is generally clean, except that some corner areas are still dirty. At the dinner buffy, watermelons are clearly rotten.
Good location, convenient transportation, good service, timely arrival, good environment, clean and hygienic. The only drawback is the toilet, which needs to be flushed all the time to flush cleanly, and the wardrobe door squeaks when opening and closing, but it's not a big deal, so I give it five points. I would like to especially mention that the shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand soap, and body lotion smell very good and are very easy to use. The bath towels, slippers, and water cups are all very good. The shower head is easy to use, and the swimming pool and gym are also very good.

We booked a suite with a 270-degree view, with a river on one side and a city view on the other, which was great. Sunny in the lobby was very friendly when we checked in. She took the initiative to introduce us to the surrounding delicacies, wrote them down in detail on a small piece of paper, and sent us some fruit. The breakfast on the second day was also very rich. I especially want to say that because my second sister Hongdou had red bean paste in Wuhu the day before, I saw it in the hotel this morning, so I was very excited. However, I felt that there were not enough red beans, so I asked the waiter Mavis if I could add some red beans. I thought it was impossible, but the enthusiastic Mavis immediately went to the kitchen to look for it, and found that there were only cold red beans, so she immediately helped us steam them, so that we could enjoy a very satisfying breakfast. Thanks again to the two above.

The hotel is located in the new city of Chuzhou. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the bedding has no peculiar smell. The surrounding food is decent. I especially recommend Chuweixuan, which is outside the hotel. The food is of good quality, has local characteristics and is frequented by locals. The hotel's facilities and equipment are a bit old, but it is well maintained and worth a thumbs up and recommendation! The breakfast has a rich variety of Chinese and Western food, and the buffet dinner is also worth a try. Less than 1 km from the hotel is Wuyue Plaza, where you can eat, drink and have fun. We recommend the Old Street Restaurant on the 4th floor of Wuyue Plaza, so go early as it is full of locals.

I pre-booked a package online, and it offered great value for money. Manager Lyra provided excellent service and arranged a wonderful room for me. Unable to sleep that night, I had my computer compose a poem:
**A Night at the Hilton Wuhu**
From a lofty perch, the river's light I claim,
Pillow by its waves, where night knows no end.
The lamps on banks afar, a galaxy they spin,
Through my window, wind and dew invite new verse within.
An earnest server brings a fresh pot of tea,
In the elegant hall, soft fragrances flow free.
Like one from earthly bounds released, I stand,
Leaning on the rail, the moon spans the river, grand.

GGuest UserShuishongshi Shanfang Hotel is a unique hotel with a strong artistic flair. Our room offered stunning mountain views the moment we opened the door, and at night, we could hear the gentle murmur of the stream. The young lady at the front desk who assisted us was incredibly kind and helpful; she planned a perfect hiking route tailored to our fitness level, which really compensated for the hotel not being situated at the very peak. As we set off for our hike, she even thoughtfully provided us with hiking poles. The driver who handled our transfers was also superb, ensuring seamless connections from the hotel to the trailhead. On our second day, when they helped us transport our luggage out of the mountain area, the hotel thoughtfully prepared bottled water and a lovely farewell gift.
GGuest UserBack in my student days, all I looked for in a hotel was a clean place to crash. But with age and experience, I've slowly realized the significance of quality. There truly is a world of difference between a luxury hotel and a budget inn, isn't there?
The Langham Hefei truly embodies refinement and thoughtfulness in every aspect, from its impeccable service and state-of-the-art facilities to the premium toiletries and exquisite bedding details. Traveling with our child, the hotel thoughtfully prepared children's amenities and a special kid's room key card in advance. The European-style private garden on the ground floor is also a beautiful spot for taking photos.
On check-in day, we were instantly charmed by Ada, the enthusiastic front desk staff. She immediately set a wonderful tone for our day, not only offering thoughtful recommendations for local culinary hotspots but also meticulously pointing out the Pan Yuliang art exhibition hidden within the hotel's corridors. Strolling through it, the artistic ambiance was palpable, truly elevating the hotel's elegance.
After settling into our view room on the 37th floor, we opened our door after dinner to a breathtaking sunset over Mount Dashu. The evening glow over Swan Lake painted the sky a gentle orange-pink.
As night fell, the city lights twinkled. Sipping red wine by the window and then indulging in a hot bath, all the week's fatigue melted away in the steamy water. It was incredibly therapeutic.
The breakfast spread in the morning was fantastic and very kid-friendly, offering a wide variety of cuisines that our little one thoroughly enjoyed. I also learned that the hotel's Chinese restaurant, T'ang Court, holds Michelin stars in both Hong Kong and Shanghai – I'll definitely have to try it if I get the chance next time!

GGuest UserOriginally, we had planned a leisurely holiday at Banyan Tree Huangshan, but our plans were completely disrupted when our child suddenly fell ill. However, our butler, Felix, turned this unexpected early departure into a reassuring and deeply touching experience with his professional and warm service!
Upon learning of our child's illness, Felix immediately and efficiently coordinated with the front desk and concierge to swiftly handle all the early departure logistics. His genuine care and thoughtful arrangements transformed what could have been a chaotic emergency into a heartwarming memory. Banyan Tree Huangshan not only boasts picturesque scenery and comfortable accommodation, but it's dedicated employees like Felix who truly make the service exceptional and heartfelt. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and sincerely hope more guests have the chance to encounter such attentive staff!
**Breakfast:** Average.
**Facilities:** The facilities are a bit dated, which is understandable given the hotel has been open for quite some years.
**Environment:** This time we booked the Lucun Villa, which is a two-story unit complete with a kitchen and an island counter, making it ideal for family stays.

GGuest UserThe hotel boasts an excellent location, nestled halfway up Mount Huangshan, just a three-minute walk from the Yungu Cableway. For added convenience, a driver provides pickup and drop-off services from Tangkou Town at the foot of the mountain upon check-in and check-out, effectively helping guests bypass the long queues and crowded conditions of the Huangshan scenic area buses.
The hotel's overall ambiance and design are truly beautiful. The room facilities are excellent, boasting a minimalist yet subtly luxurious and upscale aesthetic that my friend and I absolutely loved. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the washbasin, toilet, and shower areas are smartly separated, all proving to be very functional and convenient.
The complimentary afternoon tea was exquisite and bountiful; simply sitting in the lobby tea bar for a while offered a peaceful and enjoyable respite. Additionally, the in-room minibar is restocked daily.
The hot spring area is equally stunning, featuring both indoor and outdoor sections. While the outdoor area isn't expansive, its lush greenery creates a wonderful atmosphere, making it feel like you're soaking in a forest hot spring.
The front desk staff member was incredibly warm and helpful, proactively arranging our shuttle and thoroughly explaining the most time-saving and energy-efficient Huangshan routes, along with offering various useful tips. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay at this hotel.
AAndrew ScotiaOne of the things that stood out the most to us was the friendly and welcoming staff! Despite the language barrier, they were able to accommodate our requests and help us wherever needed. So this hotel is great for foreigners! The location was also great as the area is close to the Huangshan Mountain Transportation Center and was quiet. The room was new, clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. One recommendation to travelers is to book the private hot spring in advance as it was fully booked when we stayed.
GGuest UserThe fortunate highlight of my Huangshan trip was my delightful encounter with Shanyu Life Design Guesthouse. I had long heard it was a top-tier guesthouse in Huangshan, but the moment I stepped inside, I realized all the accolades couldn't even capture a fraction of the actual experience.
Ink-black tiled roofs and white walls nestled in the folds of green mountains; opening the window immediately greeted me with a breathtaking expanse of verdant scenery. As morning mist drifted over bamboo tips, birdsong served as a natural alarm clock; after dusk cooled the stone steps, the mountain breeze whispered through pines, gently knocking at the window. This tranquility, secluded from the mundane world, is a pure joy not found amidst the hustle and bustle of city life.
The cured bacon brought by the proprietress glistened like amber, and the fermented mandarin fish in the ceramic bowl exuded a rich, mellow aroma. Every bite was like tasting the very essence and spirit of Huangshan. It felt like being hosted by mountain relatives, warmth spreading from my palate to my very soul.
The young female guide arranged by the guesthouse was a living map of Huangshan. As her fingers traced the mountain paths, strange rock formations gained legends, and even the sweat beads of the porters carried stories. Away from the crowds, we truly connected with the soul of Huangshan.
Upon departure, the proprietress gifted us some Huangshan Maofeng tea, which still carried the fresh scent of mountain mist. It turns out the best travel experience is finding the warmth of home in an unfamiliar place. If I ever return to Huangshan, Shanyu will remain my spiritual home – staying here truly allowed me to tuck Huangshan into the folds of my memories.
JJingchengxudayeThis stay has completely reset my benchmark for domestic accommodation in China; it's currently my absolute top pick. I'm not sure whether to categorize it as a hotel or a guesthouse, but frankly, it doesn't really matter. It's located directly opposite Beihai Hotel, next to Mo Bi Sheng Hua, and right beside the police station. You'll find a discreet wooden door, easily missed, down a hidden path. Once you step inside, it's like entering a whole different world. The entire property is designed like a quaint little village, with all rooms thoughtfully nestled on the mountainside. All buildings are beautifully renovated historical structures.
I booked the 'Yun Yi' room, which comes with a private courtyard featuring a small soaking tub. After a day of hiking, soaking in the tub to soothe tired muscles, with the stars and moon as your companions above, was simply wonderful. From the moment you book, you won't have to worry about how to get up the mountain or how to explore; your dedicated butler will arrange everything. They offer VIP access to the mountain: a driver will pick you up from your location at the foot of the mountain at the appointed time and take you directly to the cable car station, where you'll use the VIP lane to board without any wait. You won't have to concern yourself with the crowds at the South Gate or the queues for the cable car – none of that affects you. We visited on a Saturday during the summer holidays. The driver picked us up at 7:30 AM, and we genuinely arrived at Yunjia before 9 AM. You get the picture?
While the room amenities and finishes might not rival the luxurious villas of Banyan Tree, Aman, or Six Senses, it's important to remember that the property is located within a scenic area, meaning construction and footprint are restricted. Moreover, every single item has to be carried up the mountain by porters from the foot of the mountain.
However, the service here is absolutely exceptional – truly top-tier. It's not just one or two staff members who provide excellent service; it's the entire team. Their service is entirely proactive; guests barely need to voice a request as the staff anticipate your needs before you even think of them. This level of intuitive and attentive service is genuinely rare and incredibly difficult to achieve. Given that Yunjia's rooms are almost always fully booked during the summer, it's clear that the price isn't the issue when it's truly worth every penny.
I will absolutely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Huangshan. Thank you, Yunjia, for an unparalleled and truly exceptional accommodation experience.
YYawenThe hotel is situated at the foot of the mountain, just about a 10-minute walk to the transfer center. The room was very quiet. Upon arriving last night, I noticed how bustling the area around the station entrance was, so I opted to have dinner at the hotel. It was absolutely delicious, especially the beef and vegetable fried rice. I even had lunch at the hotel again this morning, and it was fantastic! If you're planning to stay overnight on the mountain top, you can comfortably start your ascent around 12 PM. That's plenty of time to explore, catch the sunset in the evening, and witness the sunrise the next morning before heading back down. I would definitely come back again. The hotel offers luggage storage, which allows you to hike light.
