Service: The service was impeccable. We booked a one-night stay with two meals, and the hotel staff were already waiting for us at the station to pick us up. Because we arrived late, they even held our dinner reservation for us! Our train was cancelled the next day, and the hotel staff patiently explained how to take the bus and provided a timetable. They even drove us to the bus station – the service was excellent, and all of this was free! Cleanliness: Very clean. Environment: The hotel is next to a beautiful, pristine forest! The hot spring environment and water quality are top-notch, perfect for honeymooning couples! The tap water is drinkable and tastes incredibly sweet! Service: The service was the best I've ever experienced at a hotel.

The hotel service was good. Booking the timed shuttle bus service was very convenient! Our room was in the East Wing, which required carrying luggage up a few steps before being able to take the elevator to the room. This aspect needs improvement. The room itself was very spacious and comfortable. Both breakfast and dinner were buffet style, offering a wide variety of dishes, including local specialties. After 9 PM, dandan noodles were available as a late-night snack. The public hot spring bath was also quite nice!

An absolute gem! The views stunning, and food is exquisite. The rooms are all recently renovated with wood and in a minimalist style. The hotel had a faint fragrance of cedar? Our rooms each had ocean-facing private baths and panoramic sunset views. I feel so recharged and replenished. The setting is remote but actually not that hard to get to given Japan’s excellent transportation system. It’s 3.8 hours from Tokyo to Akita and then a lovely 50 minutes local train ride to Oga. The ryokan will pick you up. (We opted to book a local shuttle bus as we were seven people with luggage and opted to stop at the Namahage museum beforehand to learn about local lore.) The hotel has a really fun aquarium nearby which kids loved—polar bears, penguins are the main attractions but we also enjoyed the jellyfish and deep sea local fish exhibits. Highly, highly recommend staying here. The staff was incredibly helpful and gracious. Teisui is in on my list as a place to revisit.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel in Japan. One highlight was how fast and efficient the hotel check-in process was. And the overnight parking is available at a nearby building for ¥1,000. The room was considered spacious compared to typical hotels in Japan, which made the stay very comfortable. They also provided all essential amenities. Breakfast was another plus, offering a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. Overall, it was a comfortable and convenient stay, and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Excellent experience overall. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful, patient, and friendly, always ready to answer any questions. The shuttle bus was quite new and very comfortable. The room was Western-style and a good size. The onsen (hot spring) had no discernible smell, and my skin felt lovely after bathing. The location is fantastic, with the lake view and the hotel's large lawn complementing each other perfectly. We also signed up for the hotel's 6 AM boat tour, which was very interesting. It would be a good idea to bring a real-time translator if you have one, as you can learn a lot about Lake Towada.

The hotel is good and worth recommending, the room is clean, the scenery outside the window is beautiful, breakfast and dinner are very good, the hot spring has a private soup, but you have to make an appointment. On the 5th floor, you can see pictures 15 and 16, the service is also very good, a very good hot spring experience.

Very nice hotel and a comfortable stay. We didn’t try the restaurant but we enjoyed the lounge area with free drinks and icy-poles. Air conditioner/heater was very loud in the room we stayed in but apart from that, perfect. Staff are excellent and very helpful.

From Tazawa Lake Station transfer bus, the hotel is near the bus station, less than three minutes walk, nearby also bike rental, you can cycle along Tazawa Lake for a week, you can also take a bus to the nearby pizza shop, we booked a two-stay, very exquisite and delicious food, and private bath available for reservation

Staying here again after a year felt so familiar and welcoming. The platform initially mentioned that the hotel didn't offer 24-hour hot water when I booked, but I didn't encounter any issues with that during my stay. The breakfast was excellent, and my family was very happy with it. However, because it was a long holiday in Japan, there were a lot of guests, and the lounge was quite small, so we sometimes had to wait for a seat. Also, there weren't many staff members, so restocking items occasionally took a while.

Amazing location. I really enjoy my stay here, as it is near to many great landmark, very very convenient. There is also a convenient store downstairs, and staff speak excellent English. Very helpful, and services are top notch. Highly recommend if you are visiting Akita for the first time, don’t waste your time to look for other hotel. Just book this one.
