悠長 旅遊 日記Hótel Grímsborgir is absolutely fantastic! The location is super convenient, right next to the Golden Circle, making it easy to drive to all the attractions. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and each one has its own private hot tub or a shared one. Soaking in the hot tub and stargazing at night is incredibly therapeutic~ The breakfast spread is varied and fresh, and the staff are all very enthusiastic. I definitely want to stay here again on my next trip to Iceland! Highly recommended for self-driving travelers looking to relax!

It is nice experience to live in the bubble house in forest. Though we are lucky that we encounter severe storm the day we arrived, but the hotel does not offer earlier check in or later check out possibility, even the wind speed was above 120km/hour.
The electricity cut and light during storm felt a bit nervous. It might be an nature issue, I expect service to be more attentive!
For the paid price, i would alao expect service center bar and toillet could be seperate space.
it is very interesting experience to stay in forest. But one time is ok, because the service is not good for its price. A pity.

The hotel is clean and close to the waterfall as well as the Systravatn Viewpoint. We didn’t see the aurora during the night we stayed but we saw meteors which is also a very nice surprise. The staff of the hotel are helpful and friendly.

Janet Lim SC:) Good wifi
:) Ample counter space in bathroom and bathtub
:) Good powerful Braun hair dryer
:) Ample and accessible power outlets in room
:) Car park outside apartment, free
:) Lift
:(( room door number lock is flimsy. Need to make sure your door closed properly. No extra lock on inside.
:( all-in-one type of shampoo-shower gel.
:( No human service staff. Self service number code entry to Apartment and Room. Hmmm... as long as e-system are not faulty.

Guest UserThe hotel's exterior is beautiful, and the interior design is stunning. The scenery is simply breathtaking, surrounded by glaciers and the sea. The staff are very friendly, and the rooms are lovely, clean, and feel luxurious. There are three outdoor hot springs, and you can even dip in the glacier water if you get too warm. The restaurant is also excellent, with a great variety of delicious dishes. This hotel comes highly recommended!

Located in the heart of Selfoss, it offers easy access to both the coast and the inland area.
The facilities are relatively new. The rooms are not particularly large.
There's parking, but it's limited, so you'll have to park on the street if you run out.
Breakfast is similar to other hotels, but the selection isn't extensive. The coffee is good.
There's a spa, but it costs 3,000 kroner per person. It has two small circular heated pools, one cold pool, a sauna, and showers.

butnoExcellent! The hotel's location right off Highway 1 is perfect, and it's a very striking and beautiful building. The facilities are great, the room is spacious, clean, and tidy, and there's a sauna and two semi-open-air hot spring pools. After a full day exploring the Glacier Lagoon in the cold weather, a soak in the hot springs and a sauna session were incredibly relaxing. The restaurant has a nice ambiance, and the food was good too. They also offer free ice and water to guests, and the breakfast was superb, with everything you could ask for. Every food item and coffee beverage was high quality. Definitely a night that was excellent value for money.

The room was super warm, and the waiter sister also specially selected a river view room closest to the hot spring for us. It’s great to listen to the sound of running water and soak in the hot spring! It was snowing on the day of check-in, and the hot spring in the snow was really fun. The town is not far from Reykjavik. It is also a big town in Iceland. The transportation is convenient. Although there are not many people, there are still several restaurants. If you are tired of the traditional package of the hotel, you can drive or walk to the restaurant in the town. The next morning, I saw tourists riding horses on the opposite mountain to explore the volcanic spring!

The rooms were clean and the location was nice, but the rooms were a little dated looking. For the price I wasn’t too impressed with the quality of the rooms, and I thought breakfast was lackluster. Comparable to a low end hotel breakfast in the USA.
Though there weren’t any big issues with the hotel, I probably would not stay there or recommend it.
