We needed to use Ryan Air ( dreading return) for flight to be at Stanstead Airport. We decided the reasonable priced Novotel close to Airport. However, it far enough that a cab right would have cost £25 each way. We gladly took a shuttle for £4 ea way for each person. Just 10 min ride and bus comes goes every 30 min. We where happy the hotel informed us the shuttle starts at 3 AM, we had enough time to get to airport on time. The check in was fairly easy and quick. We asked if a sauna be at hotel, sadly only a gym. The room was exceptional clean, matress excellent and towels spotless like the linen later even crisp. Good choice. Had dinner at the hotel restaurant. A bit pricy like all of London and particular at an Airport Hotel, however, both dishes where outstanding, much so to let the staff know. Getting up at 2:15, had coffee ( tea) provided in room, easy check out just dropping key cards into lockbox and made the 3 AM Shuttle. I can highly recommend the hotel, service and restaurant. Definitely worth the money.

This was my 1st time at this hotel and it was very convenient! Near the airport and so clean! I think it was one of the best hotels near an airport ever! Would stay again. You need to book in advance to get a cheaper price!

Quiet and cosy place. Rooms very traditional. Breakfast is acceptable. Jogging machine at the gym strangely facing a opaque wall. Not really a convenient place, unless you are driving. The first night we checked in, the receptionist said there was no double bed (deluxe king room we booked and prepaid) and gave us twin beds. Then the solo traveller who checked in after us got a deluxe king room. Apalling. All other staff are friendly and cheerful.

Great size room. Advertised as 4star….don’t know in what year that would be…more a 2star! Window cill & wall in bedroom really rotten, dated furniture, all a bit scruffy, had to keep window open as room a bit smelly but then was really noisy through the night with lorry deliveries, extracter fan in bathroom not working so really steamy, cracks in tiles where shower is, rotten door frame in bathroom too. Didn’t complain at time as only staying 2 nights just to sleep - sheets etc nice & clean but pillows not comfortable, old & sunken. Wouldn’t stay again.

This hotel is a bus servuce hotel. Most , not i in this catogiry of travelker have money and ability tp nake tge accoubt right. The bus not cars. Ssy 3 small busses and tge interlink to tge cuty asude on tge main rd. That is money not a car park. Or facikity for. I just bought it is a red carpet to ypur car. It is what it is. A better place with busses. Cheers

Very nice and friendly staff. The hotel service very good and clean. Lovely stayed. The receptionist at the arrival date was very kind, friendly and helpful. she resolved my issue quick with kindness. Very helpful 6 stars for her. Bar staff during evening and morning are very nice. My husband and I will come back definitely.

Amazing hotel right by the airport you have your own view of the runway gorgeous spacious rooms with comfortable beds and loads of space we had a family room with a sofa bed and king size bed lovely bathroom and customer service was lovely on reception and staff .Breakfast good selection and up on the rooftop lovely view and decoration throughout would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone .Thankyou x

Hotel was amazing and the Spa area was unreal . Had a dinner reservation and the Service was really bad. Kept having to ask for things . Items i ordered never came and servers avoided eye contact so we ended up having to wait ages to be served . Food was like warm at best. Very expensive and the costumer service was simply not there.

Good location. Friendly welcome staff. Room was clean. Was little cold but extra blanket helped. I didn’t use the facilities. Only issue i found uncomfortable was getting to room via the stairs in bar area. A big round table when occupied i found little uncomfortable having to pass through to get to. I left early, no one on reception to give key back too. Waited a little, then went and looked. Found a member of staff in dining area behind, who advised was not her job. So left the key on reception side. Nice hotel tho. Thank you

Lovely hotel in nice grounds. Friendly reception. Decent room (we stayed in the Sartorial rooms) which was spacious. Good breakfast in the main restaurant although continental was a bit limited. Ate in the evenings at the cafe rather than main restaurant and food was good. Also lovely staff.

The location of the hotel is easy to find and the environment is also good. The little brother at the front desk was very enthusiastic. When I found that the room could not be opened, he immediately called someone to help me solve the problem. The breakfast packaged by the hotel is self-service and you can eat very full. Next to it is Egypt University, only five minutes away from the hotel, adjacent to the national forest park, the air is fresh and pleasant.
