The location is not too bad, it is within a cluster of many newly built homestays. I chose this place for its zen design style and it is newly opened, and i read in thr review that there was free coffee provided during breakfast. Therefore i was rather dissappointed when i found out that there is no such thing, coffee is chargeable. I was glad that i brought my own drip coffee to supplement the breakfast. Although my room was eligible for 2 breakfasts, i was only provided with 1 set of breakfast and not offered any replacement for the other breakfast set that i did not take. The room size is just nice for 1 person with luggage. Bathroom+toilet was quite large in comparison to the bedroom. My room overlook the opposite facility, the window can be opened to let in fresh air. There is washing machine+dryer on the ground floor. The girls at the lobby was nice to help me manage my laundry. I was glad that i could use the large table at the lobby for my work. It is an irony that there is a non smoking signboard in the room together with an ashtray....

the hotel is only 20mins travel from the airport which is wonderful for my business trip because i need to go to my customer located nearby. the services and facilities are also better than other local hotel. it is my third time staying this hotel, will definitely choose the same hotel on my next trips.

My stay at Pingyao Juhongyuan Mansion (Part 2) was truly memorable. The hotel’s cleanliness and hygiene were impeccable, creating a comfortable and cozy atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout our visit. The private courtyard was beautifully maintained, adding to the charm of the property. One of the standout features was the hotel’s thoughtful arrangement of transportation services, including a dedicated car for pickups and drop-offs. The rooms were fully equipped with smart technology, ensuring a modern and convenient stay.

This hotel is the best place to stay in Pingyao! It is located in the ancient city, close to the north gate, which is convenient to stay far from the crowd and take a Didi to visit some places outside the walls. The rooms are small but super nice, facing the internal traditional courtyard. The cherry on the cake is the hotel manager, Alice. She is super helpful and speaks a good English, which is so rare in China but very appreciated as well!

Convenient transportation, Metro Line 2 is downstairs, and the food street and Drum Tower Commercial Street are a few minutes' walk away. The room is clean and tidy, the service attitude is good and polite, the cleaning waiters are all good, the breakfast is so colorful that I can't eat it all 😂, the freshly ground coffee ☕ is very fragrant, three cups each time 😁.

A fantastic stay which truly puts you in the mood of Pingyao Ancient City. I received a very welcome room upgrade and had a splendid time. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, offering a pickup/drop-off service to/from Pingyao station.

The location of the B&B is good. It is in the ancient city and it is very convenient to walk around. Several restaurants nearby have good prices and taste. The service is thoughtful. Contact in advance and send the parking lot location. After the car is parked in the parking lot, there is a battery car to pick up. The room is comfortable. Recommended!

Excellent hotel! The service was exceptional. The ladies at the reception were amazing. They booked us a taxi for visiting the great Buddhas and they provided us with a breakfast picnic bag when we left too early in the morning. The hotel is situated just a few minutes walk from the old town. Quite handy. There is a free laundry room that we could use for our clothes. Much needed! The buffet breakfast was delightful and varied. Perfect stay!

This hotel may seem expensive, but it really is worth it. Super clean public areas and super clean rooms. Bright, light and with a large tv (which you can stream from your phone / laptop) , desk, fridge, kettle, etc... The toilet has a bidet feature which is great. The location is opposite street food vendors and Linfen park. There is no noise from them, so don't worry about it. But it is around a 30min walk / 5 min car to the nearest shopping area, so I'll mark it down a little on location. Facilities are great, great laundry room that also has little items like a lint roller, wool pilling remover, color catching sheets etc... are all provided.  The gym has two technogym treadmills and a rowing machine and bike. All great quality but the gym has no weights at all.  But the cardio machines are very high quality.  Service is great. everyone is super attentive and polite.  The bed is high quality and pillows are lovely. USB A and USB C on each side of the bed.  Wifi is very good and fast, I was able to remote play into my PS5 without issue (just use the streaming TV wifi)  There's a separate desk also. The shower and toilet are separated which means one can shower while the other person can still use the toilet. Towels are great too.  There is one issue I found was that the room was too hot and the AC didn't do much, the staff gave me a desk fan which was helpful.  This hotel may seem costly, especially as many other hotels in Linfen have good reviews, but this is my third hotel in Linfen and this hotel is worth it. If you don't care about the weights in gym then you don't need to think about it and book this place.

The area is quiet but close to attractions and shopping streets 大同不夜城. It is located next to the datong ancient city walls north gate, within walking distance to nine dragons wall, huayan temple, shanhua temple and the Southeast Yi Historical and Cultural Block. There is also a bus stop outside that goes round the area.Cab fare is less than 30 rmb to Yungang Grottoes and Datong south highspeed train station. Friendly and attentive staff checking for allergy if any. The owner was kind enough to meet me at the train station. Breakfast is simple fare consists of millet congee with side dishes, tasty noodles in warm broth, toasts and local pastries etc. Freshly made coffee from a semi auto coffee maker. Hotel serves light sweet soup to guests before dinner. Free fruits and cookies in the lobby. Washing machine and dryer are avail for use. My room has an overhead projector with wide selection of movies. Clean and comfortable. Room has many wall sockets for charging. Bathroom is huge. Deposit 200 rmb as all the facilities are brand new. Enjoyable stay. Datong is delightful a comination of the old and new.

The location is convenient. It is not far from Chunyang Palace, Shanhua Temple, Huayan Temple and Drum Tower on foot. The Bronze Museum is just outside the door. It is small but beautiful. I took my children to see it carefully. The children remembered four kinds of ritual vessels, Ding (cooking), Hu (water), You (wine), Gui (grain). Ding is an odd number and Gui is an even number. The emperor has nine Dings and eight Gui, the princes have seven Dings and six Gui, the literati have five Dings and four Gui, and the Yuan Dynasty scholars have three Dings (or one Ding) and two Gui. Breakfast buns, steamed buns, millet porridge is delicious Take a bath with an electric water heater for 20 minutes, then wait 20 minutes before using it. It's OK if you're not in a hurry.

My family (2 adults and 2 teenagers) stayed at 陆合景客栈 for 2 nights when we visited Datong. The hotel was very beautiful, and the family room was excellent. The beds we comfortable, and the room was very well equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The hotel was very nicely decorated to match the atmosphere of the ancient city. I would like to especially give commendations to Ms 任红霞 and Mr 付强. Both of them provided exceptionally good service during our stay and made sure that all our questions and needs were fulfilled. They are exceptional staff of the hotel and I hope the hotel management rewards them for their hard work. Highly recommend this hotel to anybody who is looking for accommodation in Datong ancient city.

For a family trip, I looked at hotels for a long time and finally chose this very new Holiday Inn. The brand of Holiday Inn is still guaranteed. The decoration of the hotel is very special. There is a cultural tourism promotion screen above the door, and the corridor of the guest room is also carefully decorated. Two rooms were booked. This is a twin room with dry and wet separation, which is also very spacious. Breakfast is buffet, knife-cut noodles are also good, and there are various staple foods, fruits and vegetables. You don't have to worry about going out for breakfast. The attitude of the service staff is very good, enthusiastic and considerate. The male waiter who is responsible for sending the station at the front desk is very enthusiastic. All the service staff left a good impression on us. In terms of transportation, it is only a ten-minute drive from Datong South Station. It is also very convenient to take a taxi to the ancient city. There are also Kaige and Longjuxiang in the surrounding area, which are very close by car. I will choose this hotel next time I come.

The front desk service attitude is very good. The room is generally satisfactory. The hotel is very close to Datong South Station and Fantawild. The suite can see the fireworks of Fantawild at night, which is very beautiful. The breakfast is quite rich, the fruit is fresh, and the sliced ​​noodles and mutton offal are really delicious. Parking is shared with Parkson Outlets in the basement, which is quite convenient. There is only a small problem. The bathroom sewer smells quite bad, but you can't smell it when you close the bathroom door. A small gift was given when leaving the hotel, which is thoughtful.

The hotel is located in the south of the ancient city, next to the Drum Tower. Bus stops for No. 36 and No. 61 are just outside the hotel. The rooms are well-equipped, clean and tidy. The buffet breakfast is available in both Chinese and Western styles, with a wide variety. Very good old style hotel in a very beautiful building with nice gardens and fountains in front of it. It is located outside the city walls, but with very easy and quick (10 min) access to it by bus or taxi. It is at walking distance to VoVo Park, a reasonably good shopping mall with very good food options. The room was quite spacious and comfortable, clean and well equipped. Staff is very nice and helpful.

A very amazing courtyard house, the scenery of the small courtyard is refreshing, get up early and sit by the water and eat a super high-value breakfast, start the day's itinerary full of vitality, sit in the tea room and drink tea with friends after returning at night, and enjoy the boss's collection by the way, full of harvest. Next time I have a chance to go to Datong, I must go to Pingyun Courtyard again 👍

I came to Taiyuan for a two-day vacation. My friend recommended me to stay here. It felt really good. I felt that the whole city treated me well. When I first arrived at the hotel to check in, I saw that the front desk was very busy. A young lady checked me in. She had big eyes and was very beautiful. The first impression was really good. The first time I stayed, I saw this hotel chosen by cba. It has its own parking lot. It is very convenient to park. The hotel building features are very conspicuous and easy to find. I passed by Pingyao and stayed for one night. It was a good choice to choose this hotel. The butler service was very convenient. Just send a message. I didn't know how to cast the TV screen, so someone came to help. The quilt was delivered immediately when I asked for it. The mini bar was free. The smart home was also very convenient. The room was decorated in a high-end manner, and the bath water was also very good. Although I didn't use it, the free laundry room and gym on the second floor felt very convenient! The location was great; along a quiet alley just minutes away from the MingQing street. Hotel is a residential place and has beautiful courtyards. The breakfast was delicious, we even requested for extra helpings! Hotel offers pickup and dropoff at Pingyao Gucheng Station and helped arranged for a knowledgeable private guide for our day.

Great location, quiet neighborhood but not far from the center. The room is clean , comfortable and has the atmosphere of an old traditional home. It is the service that needs significant improvement to warrant the current four star rating.  The price was for two people and yet, there was one tea bag per person, a very small roll of toilet paper and the facial tissue bixes were almost empty. The breakfast was no better: ine boiled egg, a small bun, a bowl of sweet porridge and a tiny slice (about one tenth) of a sweet potato and a root vegetable, with a tiny portion of pickled cabbage. For a mainland B&B well below standard. What’s more, the old nan who was on duty in the morning would pick up dirt from the floor while handling food with bare hands and had trouble finding toilet paper in the storage room while I waited outside in freezing weather. The host is friendly and helped with orientation and organizing transfers to the railway station, so with little improvement in service this could be a good choice for Pingyao.

Although the ancient city of Pingyao is very deserted in December. But the hotel is very welcoming and heart-warming. In the off-season, the service of this hotel is most in line with the star standard. Because the entrance to the underground parking lot is not easy to enter, they also specially sent us a drive-in method to guide us to find the underground parking lot.
