4-Star Hotels in Hainan, China

My final stay was at the Mercure Haikou City Center. I booked a Deluxe room, which was clean and functional. The staff were friendly and even helped us check out from the previous hotel. The location was excellent, with easy access to parks and malls. The room came with a bidet, which was a nice touch, and the bed was comfortable. However, the air conditioner was weak, and since we couldn’t open the window fully, we had to sleep without blankets. Overall, for the price and space, I can’t complain. It’s a great hotel for city explorers who just need a place to bathe and sleep. There are plenty of food and shopping options within walking distance, and you can easily rent a bicycle to explore Evergreen Park, Century Park, and even Qilou Old Street.

This is indeed a great hotel to stay, as it is very family friendly, good locations, with lots of nice food around the areas.

I chose this hotel by accident when I was transiting in Haikou. I was very satisfied with the hotel's service and breakfast. Especially the buffet breakfast, which was beyond my expectation. I could eat the local specialty snack cold Hainan noodles, and a cup of freshly ground coffee, which was both delicious and refreshing.

Neat and funky, modern with some techy stuff. Bed was very comfortable, pillow was less ideal but suffices. Big room and spacious rest area which I like. The sound proofing was pretty decent so you don't hear the train passing by or the traffic noise, that is until your neighbour speaks loudly (thankfully not for long) or if someones slams the door hard (esp if you are sleeping). Great black out curtains which open on its own when you remove the key from its space and closes when you're stick it in (think it depends on how you set it before you leave the room). Bathroom was also splendid. As was the nespresso coffee- great for waking me up. A very comfortable place of rest until the final night- we were told that the sensor malfunctioned, waking us up in the middle of the night- curtains opening on its own, air-conditioning suddenly switching off (no we didn't change any settings for that to happen), lights turning on all of a sudden. All good otherwise.

The stay experience was really good! The location of the hotel is particularly good, downstairs is a lively neighborhood, the night life is very rich, it is especially convenient to go out and have a snack at night. The room was very clean, the bedding and pillows were very comfortable, especially the pillows had four, moderately soft and hard, and slept very well. The front desk and the security brother are very enthusiastic, and they will take the initiative to say hello when they enter and exit. They help with luggage in a timely manner and feel particularly intimate. Overall, the price is very high, the stay is very comfortable, recommend it to everyone!

The location is excellent, just opposite Wanlv Park. It takes more than ten minutes to walk to the beach. The new Chinese style decoration, with pine trees and flowing water everywhere, is very artistic. The decoration and furniture are very new and clean, exceeding expectations. It is on the first floor of the fourth floor, and you have to pass through the lobby when entering and leaving, which is very safe. There are several separate tea rooms where you can talk about things, make phone calls, and drink tea. Although there are not many types of breakfast, there are freshly cooked noodles, which also have a unique local flavor.

It takes only a few minutes to walk to the beach and the commercial street. It is very convenient to eat, drink and have fun. You can also watch the light show at night, which is great! The room we stayed in had a great view. The feeling of being awakened by the sun and sea breeze in the morning was so healing! The room facilities were very new, the bedding was soft, and the hygiene was also very good. The front desk lady was very nice and introduced the island's travel guide at check-in. The room response speed was also fast. When pillows and mineral water were needed, they were delivered quickly.

I went to the Shenzhou Peninsula with my family over the weekend and booked the Shenzhou Peninsula Private Sea Villa Hotel. The environment and service were great! The handsome guy at the front desk upgraded the room when he saw the children and the elderly! really thankful! 👍, you can see the sea from the window 🌊 and the internet celebrity check-in spot ~ The ”Lighthouse” where she disappeared. It's a pleasant surprise. The hotel is a seaside 🏝️ villa 🏡, and the environment and service are also very good! A very cost-effective hotel! My family is very happy😃. I will stay at this hotel again next time I go there🏨

Good location, about 10 minutes walk from the duty-free city, about 10 minutes drive from the new harbor, the surrounding area is relatively empty and quiet, and there are plenty of parking spaces. The room was upgraded, and the duty-free discount coupons and coffee were given. The room size was OK, the bedding was comfortable, Xiaomiao and Zheng Qun had good service and patiently answered questions; when checking out, the other two ladies also provided water to drink on the road, which was more careful.

The hotel service is very good, very warm and the service attitude is particularly good. The environment is also good, clean and sanitary. The breakfast is also very rich. The lobby is very spacious and suitable for drinking tea. There is also a dedicated parking lot. It is the first choice for staying. I personally feel very satisfied 👍
