We had spent 4 nights at the hotel during the Golden Week which might have influenced the perception of service, but not dramatically. Among the advantages of the hotel are: nice spacious rooms (ours had a stunning sea view); generally good location with beautiful nature and access to the beaches where you could actually swim (not a given on the island) - at least until the tide goes too low; reasonably good food across the restaurants with rather friendly prices; stylish bar with quality drinks. Among the disadvantages are: very non-Japanese service (generally not very helpful, with low penetration of English among the staff) and lack of attention to detail that could make the resort actually very nice - again, not very typical case for Japan. A few pieces of advice to the management: 1. Bring the option of in-room breakfast. If a guest is sick and can’t go down, it’s impossible to order in-room breakfast on the day, while rooms service opens at 11:30. Same frustration goes to the coffee stall downstairs that doesn’t serve coffee during earlier breakfast hours 2. Consider equipping rooms with coffee machines and contemporary electronics - low costs to take, yet massive disadvantage for the 5* status for not having them 3. Pay more attention to room service: we spent 48h without shampoo and shower gel. Our glasses were washed occasionally. New bottles of drinking water arrived only once. 4. Fix the beach! The amenities there look like a poor community beach area, especially those shameful umbrellas. You have reasonable amenities at the pool - why not spreading them to the beach areas to make them feel more like a resort rather than public beaches that no one gave any care? 5. Gym and SPA amenities could use a bit of refreshment. I won’t mention SPA service itself which might be a result of poor luck with the specific technician 6. Empty mini bar equals lost revenue. You could easily cover the modifications above through adding more options for people to enjoy drinks at their balconies. What makes staying in Japan truly special - genuine care and attention to every detail - was completely missing over our stay at this Hyatt. In fact, we consistently had that feeling “this could actually be really nice” and then something would go terribly wrong with the awkward service. The hotel that looks like 5* on pictures leaves a 3* aftertaste at max. I am only writing this because I felt it didn’t have to - those are easy aspects to fix.

The service was excellent, and the hotel environment was fantastic! The breakfast and dinner were standard buffet style, with above-average quality. However, the staff at the small shops might need more training, as they were unhelpful and seemed clueless, which is not the standard of service expected from a top-tier hotel.

Location The hotel is conveniently situated on a side street just off the main road. It’s a quiet spot but offers easy access to nearby restaurants. Service Issues • Poor Communication: I arrived an hour before the 3:00 PM check-in time. While I understood that early check-in wasn't available, the staff directed me to a small, uncomfortable bench at entrance of restaurant to wait. It was pouring rain outside, and the seating was so poor I eventually chose to go out into the rain just to kill time. I later discovered a proper reception area with comfortable seating on the 11th floor—I wish the staff had directed me there instead of the hallway. • Misleading Incentives: The hotel provides an information card stating that guests receive a 1,000 credits for skipping room cleaning. I opted out twice during my first stay but never received the credit. When I returned for a second stay and inquired about it, the receptionist told me that since I had already checked out, there was ”no proof” the room wasn't cleaned no credit can be provided. It’s small, but the lack of accountability felt deceptive. Room Quality On a positive note, the rooms are very spacious, which made the physical stay quite comfortable

1. 🌅 **Ambiance & Location** (★★★☆☆) 📍 The hotel is situated along the coast of Yomitan Village, offering fantastic ocean views, perfect for watching sunsets and simply relaxing by the sea. ✔ All rooms are oceanfront with sea views, so you wake up to the ocean every day. ✘ As it's located in a resort area, it's a bit far from the city center and transportation hubs. You'll need to rent a car or arrange a shuttle for daily outings. ➡️ Ideal for a completely relaxing vacation; less suitable for travelers who primarily want to explore Naha city. --- 2. 🛏️ **Accommodation & Comfort** (★★★★★) ✨ Rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a minimalist yet warm design. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer excellent ocean views. ✨ Guests consistently praise the bedding, cleanliness, and the sea-view terrace. ✨ Rooms are well-equipped with amenities (Wi-Fi, refrigerator, household appliances, etc.). 📌 Guest ratings for 'comfort and cleanliness' are very high. --- 3. 🛎️ **Service Quality** (★★★★☆) ✔ Hoshino Resorts' signature attentive service means the reception and overall stay experience are generally well-received. ⚠ A very small number of guests noted a 'slight difference in room hospitality compared to other high-end Japanese ryokans.' ✔ Overall, the service remains at a high standard. --- 4. 🍽️ **Dining Experience** (★★★★☆) 🍴 The restaurant offers a diverse menu, blending local and international flavors, with themed dishes and unique experiences. 🍽️ Some guests felt the dining surpassed typical hotel offerings, but noted the prices were on the higher side. 🎯 Most guests gave positive reviews. --- 5. 🏊‍♀️ **Facilities & Additional Experiences** (★★★★★) 🌊 Highlights include the infinity pool, spa, beachfront cafe, and cultural activities. 💆‍♂️ Activities like spa treatments, horseback riding, and sunset cocktails make the vacation experience even more complete. ✔ Perfect for couples, families, or anyone looking for a truly relaxing getaway. --- 6. 🧭 **Recommended For** ✅ Those looking for a leisurely vacation, sea views, and relaxation. ✅ Family or couple getaways. 🇯🇵 Not suitable for: Travelers solely looking for convenient city exploration (requires transport arrangements).

My girlfriend and I come from Hong Kong, and we’re honored to visit Okinawa for the first time, staying at your esteemed hotel for four days and three nights. All the staff at your hotel are exceptionally friendly and eager to assist. Whether at the front desk, restaurant, or cleaning team, every colleague is impeccably polite. Even though our Japanese is nonexistent, the staff patiently communicated with us in English, which truly touched our hearts. This time, I successfully proposed to my girlfriend right here at your hotel—sincere thanks to your hotel for creating such unforgettable and beautiful memories for us. Additionally, we absolutely loved playing with the parrot in the hotel’s basement; it’s so adorable and fun! We hope to see it again next time and have more joyful playtime with it. We look forward to the opportunity to return in the future and share more warm moments together.

Facilities: Hyatt's facilities are unbeatable, and the size is quite large for Japan. The breakfast selection was a bit limited and didn't change much over three days, but the food itself was delicious. The swimming pool is small, but better than nothing. The hot water temperature wasn't very stable at night, fluctuating quite a bit. And for some reason, the toilet lid kept falling down and hitting me. Other than that, everything else was fine. Service: Couldn't be better. Every time we arrived by taxi, the trunk was opened before we even got out, and they'd even help us check if we'd left anything in the seat 😂. All the staff spoke excellent English. Location: It's about 1600 JPY by taxi to the airport and around 5000 JPY to American Village. Kokusai Dori is a one-minute walk away, and there's a convenience store about 200 meters from the entrance. The pottery street across the road is fun to browse and shop. However, it's quite a distance from the port, the bus terminal, and Naminoue Shrine. I'd recommend staying closer to the bus terminal area. Kokusai Dori is a bit of a tourist trap for food, and there's not much else to see or do there.

The room was huge, with a large sofa, and the standard room offered a partial sea view. There are two churches nearby, and it's located right within the scenic area. Hoshino Cafe is within walking distance, and the sea is absolutely beautiful. Highly recommended!

First time in Motobu and stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. We wanted a hotel on an island with walking distance to a beach and selected Hilton Sesoko Resort as we wanted to explore the Northern region. Room and service were excellent! Love the cosy room that came with a balcony and sea view, spaciousness for our luggages and large bathroom that is separated from the toilet and comes with standing shower and a bathtub. Parking is JPY1,500 per night, with discount given to Hilton members.

The room size was surprisingly large, especially for Japan! You could see the ocean right from the room, which really made it feel like a vacation – absolutely fantastic! The hygiene wasn't as bad as some online reviews suggested, and I was pleasantly surprised by the comprehensive toiletries and amenities provided. If you opt out of daily housekeeping, you can get a 500 or 1000 yen voucher to use at the small shop, which is a nice touch! The hotel's swimming pool is great for kids, and there are also some paid craft activities in the lobby that are perfect for keeping the little ones entertained.

We stayed for two nights at this hotel in northern Okinawa, near the Churaumi Aquarium. Even though it's far from the city and there's no shopping mall, it was a really pleasant vacation. The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the aquarium, so you can sleep in and head over there. There's also a Lawson convenience store nearby for any essentials. Just cross the road from the hotel and you're on a beautiful beach with fine white sand, perfect for kids. The rooms are very spacious, offering plenty of room to move around, and they face the ocean, so you can watch the sunset. The hotel has a public bath. When we booked, the two rooms had different prices. One included two bath tickets, while the other required a purchase of 1700 JPY per person. Luckily, we had two 1000 JPY vouchers to offset the cost. The mini-bar in the room is free, with two cans of beer and two cans of fruit wine soda. Each person can also get a free beer or tea at the lobby every day, so you can fully enjoy Okinawan beer. The breakfast at the restaurant is also quite good, with plenty of Okinawan specialties. My only regret is the hotel restaurant's capacity. When we checked in around 3 PM, we tried to book dinner for that evening, but all three hotel restaurants were already full. The earliest availability was after 8 PM, and they couldn't reach Chinese mobile numbers, so we had to wait for a message in our room. If we hadn't found another restaurant outside the hotel that could seat us, my child would have been hungry for several hours. Being in a hotel already far from the city, I felt quite helpless at that moment.
