5-Star Hotels in Yunnan, China

This hotel is a gem in Shaxi Town and should not be missed. We are happy to have had the opportunity to stay for 1 night, and only wished we had more days in Shaxi. The hotel is in a beautifully restored ancestral home, with rooms that are modern and beautifully appointed with a lot of thoughtful amenities provided. Breakfast and afternoon tea were delicious. The hotel staff from the ladies at the front desk to housekeeping were really friendly and helpful. They gave us recommendations on what to see and where to eat in Shaxi. We appreciated the extra touches such as having warm milk brought to our rooms as a nightcap. Special thanks to Yan Yan who took care of us on our last day and was also our teacher in the Jia Ma wood printing experience. We had a great time during the experience and left Shaxi with a special souvenir.

I had a delightful stay at the Wanda Vista Resort Xishuangbanna, and can highly recommend the hotel for both luxury and a relaxing unique experience. A place that has something wonderful for everyone. A wonderful hotel with wonderful staff. The staff were particularly helpful in meeting my needs and ensuring a great stay. I would especially like to thank Martin Gan. He provided an excellent service, He was very helpful and diligent and is a true credit to the Hotel.

I have been serviced by Pullman Hotel in Dali for 2 nights. I am very impressed by the service of the staff, especially Mr. Edison. On the day I arrived, my luggage was broken. He was able to advise me where I could buy a new one, and he also took care of my luggage and brought it to my room when the room was ready. He always informed me and took good care of me. The other staffs were also very helpful. They are able to communicate with me well, and provided other services, such as breakfast, called a taxi to my destination, opened and shut the car's door for me. It showed a lot of care. I was very impressed. If I come to visit here again, I will definitely choose Pullman Hotel.

Facilities: The room is very good, the wooden furniture does not look old, but has an elegant charm. The children especially like the swimming pool in the courtyard, and it is completely fine to stay in the hotel for a day. Hygiene: Before arriving, I was worried about the hygiene and mosquitoes due to the climate, but it was completely OK. The room was very clean, and the mosquitoes were isolated outside. Just make sure to close the doors and windows. It may also be related to the current month, which is not the hottest and humid time of the rainy season. Environment: The hotel is quiet, the public area environment is nothing to say, very beautiful, and it does not seem noisy and crowded even if it is full. It is very suitable for a holiday atmosphere. Service: The taxi call speed is very fast, the hotel staff is also very professional and enthusiastic, and the reservation items are all helpful to communicate. This trip and stay exceeded expectations, very good~ Travel: It is very suitable to stay here to visit the Botanical Garden Wangtianshu and Mengyuan Wonderland, away from the downtown, and enjoy the natural scenery of the rainforest.

Hu Ke can be said to be the most surprising and satisfying destination of this trip to western Yunnan! Environment: Backed by Nushan Mountain, facing Nujiang River, sitting on ten thousand acres of coffee farmland, whether in the morning, daytime or night, it has the top visual enjoyment. It is not difficult to understand the starting point of cooperation between the two. Facilities: The hotel area and the cafe area are separated, which well guarantees the privacy of the guests staying in the hotel. The hotel hardware facilities are also online, and the overall presentation shows the characteristics of southwestern Yunnan, with a strong ethnic style. Hygiene: The hygiene is very good, in line with the hotel positioning. Service: The service is great, the service staff is well trained, warm and thoughtful, and makes people feel at home. The hotel's coffee needs no further explanation, and the food is even more surprising and delicious, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful scenery while also feasting your mouth. In short, Hu Ke is a choice I am willing to visit again, and it is also an object worth learning for many so-called big-name hotels and resorts.

After looking at many B&Bs, I finally decided on this five-star old hotel. The facilities are also good, not as old as I thought, clean and hygienic, the ice plums in the room are delicious, and the breakfast is also good. The location of the hotel is also good. The North Gate is opposite to the right, and the alley to Zhujia Garden is opposite to the left. I had a great time chatting with the ladies at the front desk while waiting for the bus for a few days. Miss Tang, the assistant manager of the lobby, Xiao Sun, Xiao Yao, and Xiao Qin are all very enthusiastic. They also gave Jianshui tea when I checked out. It is necessary to live comfortably when taking my mother to travel👍🏻

I have always been paying attention to the brand of Jixiashan, and it really did not disappoint me. It was a very pleasant stay experience! From check-in to check-out, every detail makes people feel the caring service. The front desk staff was warm and thoughtful, quickly helped me with the formalities, and took the initiative to upgrade the room type, which was a surprise! The room is spacious and clean, the bedding is comfortable, and the facilities are complete. In particular, the water pressure and hot water in the bathroom are very stable, which washes away the fatigue of the day. The location of the hotel is also very convenient, only ten minutes away from the ancient town, and it is very convenient to travel. The most important thing is that the parking lot is right next to it, and parking is very convenient! The breakfast is rich in variety and the ingredients are fresh. I especially like the freshly cooked rice noodles, which are very local and taste great! In addition, the room service responds quickly, and the demands raised can be solved in time, which makes people feel at ease. Overall, both the hardware facilities and the service quality exceeded expectations, and the cost performance is extremely high. Next time I come to Shaxi Ancient Town, I will definitely choose here again! Highly recommended to other travelers, it deserves five-star praise!

The location of the hotel is very good, the lobby is spacious and bright, they help arrange the room in advance, share relevant tourist information, and help prepare welcome fruits in the room. The service is thoughtful and meticulous, the room is very comfortable and clean, and the breakfast is also very good. It is the first choice for travel.

Great location in the old town. Room was clean, had enough amenities but the heater was not working. My room was on the 2nd floor overlooking their cafe but I felt the curtains did not provide enough privacy. Breakfast was a small buffet spread and it gets busy around 8am when many people check-out, so there was a wait for a clean table. Guests bring outside food which is not appropriate, in my opinion, but it might be a local custom.

I had enjoyed my stay at Dali Ancient Luchun Hotel extremely much due to the excellent service. They really weren’t lying about the Haidilao-style service.  Their front desk personnel manning the Wechat (慕雅) was extremely responsive and helpful when it came to my requests. The lobby staff were also very helpful in delivering stuff to my room and when I was carrying luggages, they ran forward and assisted me immediately.  The services at this hotel were also unique and special: warm milk delivery daily (so that you can sleep) and free pick-up to and from the Ancient City and also to the airport/railway.  Nearby (10 minutes walk) there is also street food that tastes amazing and is value for money.  Overall, I would recommend this stay to anyone who is looking for stellar service and helpful staff and I would definitely stay at this hotel again if I had the chance to visit Dali.  我非常喜欢入住大理麓椿花园酒店，他们提供的优质服务真的名不虚传，确实有海底捞式服务的水准。 前台负责微信客服的慕雅对我的各种需求都非常响应和耐心解答。大堂的工作人员也很热情周到，每次送东西到房间时都很及时，当我提着行李时，他们还会主动上前帮忙。 酒店的服务也非常独特和贴心：每天送热牛奶（助眠），还提供免费接送服务，不仅接送古城，还可以送到机场或高铁站。 附近也有步行十分钟可达的街头美食，味道很棒，性价比也很高。 总之，我会推荐这家酒店给任何想要体验优质服务和热心员工的客人。如果有机会再次来到大理，我一定会选择再次入住这家酒店！
