The good thing is price and if you just want a place to sleep it is fine as long as you don't have much luggage. Shower, toilet, bed and free WiFi is what you get, if like me you work till 23.00 and leave at 8:00 it works fine if there is two and/or you have luggage perhaps not. It is basically an excess office where a 100sqm office has been transferred into 10 sleep capsules of which two have a window. Cleaning was so so, I really did not need to find a used earplug in the bed. The location is near the university nearest tram to Amsterdam about 10 to 15 minute walk. Price is fine as long as you don't expect much.

Great location 12/15 mins walk to central station which can connect you to many places airport was 15 mins away from central station in train stay at hostel was nice comfortable down they have a bar and restaurant outside seating area definitely if I’m back in Amsterdam solo I’ll be here back

The hostel is huge. It mainly hosts young people and school groups. Nevertheless, they manage to keep it clean! You can only pay by card for everything there! Towels cost extra. The front desk staff are friendly: they helped me check in and store my suitcase in the luggage room. They have a huge dining area where breakfast is served – it's good, and the coffee is excellent. You can eat your own food there at other times of the day. But! There's no microwave!!! There's a hot water dispenser, which was cold or empty exactly when I needed it most)) Bring shower sandals. In the quadruple room with a bathroom, water would flood the entire floor – that's just how the shower is designed there. The stained-glass windows on every floor are beautiful!!!!

Room is a bit small and shower doesn’t have the curtain so it’s all wet after the shower. Bed is very comfortable. No kettle, tea or coffee. But the location, I’d stay there again.

I tried to ask and change for my room as I booked the wrong type by mistake .. but they refused to change it , they weren’t cooperative .. in general it’s an ok hotel for a quick one night stay near the airport

We e-mailed them to ask if we could add an extra bed in the room and they said yes (obviously for a fee). When we arrived they forgot about this but when I reminded them and they saw the bank transfer they said it would have still been possible to add the extra bed. Beside this, location was perfect and the room was clean. A bit small but it’s fair for the price. Also deposit is 100€.

All the personnel are so friendly and kind. Really love their vibes. The bed is clean and has a curtain so it’s nice. The nearby metro station is a little bit far away from the hostel tho. If you are planning to walk there with big luggage, make sure to take this trait into consideration.

Ett bra hotell med bra läge. Lätt att ta sig till alla möjliga platser man vill utforska. Väldigt smidigt trots att det inte finns någon personlig reception på hotellet så är det väldigt enkelt att komma i kontakt personal både via hotellet och WhatsApp.

Except for the woman at the counter front desk, who shouted at us for ringing the bell in our first night because we didn’t understand how to open the front door with our key. Apparently, touching one button was enough for her to be rude with us. We were not surprised to be honest because during checking she was also very disrespectful to us. She needs to learn how to work at the hospitality service.

Good value budget hotel with an excellent location Pros: Excellent location — less than a minute’s walk from Zaandam train station and the high street. Shops and supermarkets are right on the doorstep. Rooms on the 9th–11th floors offer great views of Zaandam’s colourful buildings through the large windows. Reasonable room size for a budget hotel. Good value for the price paid. Cons: Bathroom/toilet is quite small. Facilities are basic, as expected from a budget hotel. Overall, a practical and good-value option, particularly if location and transport convenience are important.
