1. Payment BY CASH only no card accepted.  2. Parking not convinience at all. Parked behind hotel beside bird **** and if not in parking lot will be summon by MPKB. 3. Towel smelly and bed sheet torn. No toiletries. 4. Other than that all are convinience -  nearby food stall n mart and resonable price.

The hotel has a strong old-fashioned feel. The air conditioning is OK, not as bad as the previous comments say. There is no quilt, but the blanket in the photo. But the advantage should be that someone washes it for each guest, each has its pros and cons. Bus No. 9 from the airport. It runs every 2 hours. The terminal is not far from the hotel. And there should be a stop for passengers to get on and off at the intersection of Zheng He Archway.

What I like most about this hotel is it's location. Right smack in the city centre. Spacious room with complete in-room amenities including a mini fridge and a microwave oven. Not many channels on the telly, only those free to air ones. The famous Muhammadi Mosque is just across the road and Tambatan DiRaja is just a short walk away. Parking is quite limited. Nasi Ulam Cikgu Fauzi is just behind the building if you are into it.

24-hour front desk, friendly and helpful, great value for the price. There's an instant noodle and snack station at the lobby as well. It's located just behind the hospital along one of the main roads. There's also a local Thai restaurant just beside with delicious and cheap food. Will definitely stay here gain the next time we're in Kota Bharu. The best thing is that there are two laundry rooms in the building, so we didn't have to lug our laundry around outside looking for one.

Average accommodation. Good location if you are into night market shopping. Other than that, there is nothing much around it. Staffs are rigid when I request to see the room. Reason being every year guests have the same complaint subject - the bathroom. We checked in at 7.30pm and request for late check-out the next day. Front staff informed that there is a surcharge of RM$30/hour. And I was just asking till 1pm. Breakfast can skip. Good thing only is the spacious room and the carpark. Overall- building & service need to be improvised. And I think the air-con in the lobby is off after breakfast. For all this, to me the rate is expensive.
