One of the best places to stay in Langkawi, definitely will stay again if we ever return. Room was Instagram worthy. The pool was warm, refreshing and regularly cleaned. Great location right on the Cenang beach strip. Right across from the aquarium and within short walking distance of the beach and many good local restaurants. However the hotels layout gives you a nice reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the main strip. Housekeeping was 10/10 — refreshments, beverages and toiletries were replenished daily. New towels are provided if you leave the old on the floor, and new linens are provided upon request.

Check in was smooth since we arrived quite late. We call in advance to inform our eta arrival later than expected due to flight delayed. We got bee building facing the sea. Everything inside the room is clean. Tv channel have astro. Malibest is well known for its location, in the middle busy street Chenang and its hospitality and well clean room! So far it meet my expectation. Just one thing, the hotel parking too limited. Overall, this place will be my favourite place to stay in langkawi sith affordable price.

We were on ”road trip” around Semenanjung, and somehow tried our luck with AST. To our surprise, the hotel was better than our expectation, especially at the price we paid. We end up extending day after days, and made AST as our ”camp” when we explore Kedah and Perlis :) Do note, this is a business hotel, and we find it good as lodging purpose only. Help us to rest in the night, clean up, while on day time we explore the town/state

Stayed here for one night for transit. When the taxi dropped us off, we weren't sure this is the building because it looked so old and seems to be under construction. The lobby was dark and musky, as were the corridors. From outside, it looks like an abandoned building. I didn't feel very safe in the building. The room was old and dated. The furnishing seems to be from the 90s. While the room was big and spacious, the aircon only cooled down half the room and the other half was felt warm and stuff. The bedsheet was stained and spotted and we found some hair as well. For some weird reason, the windows are tinted so even though we had a good view of the street below, it was still very dark in the room. There are definitely other better and newer hotels / rooms on Cenang beach.

Location not bad, being at the quieter end yet still within walking distance to the F&B and shops. Beam scooters avaliable in about 2 minites walking. Free parking space available but they might need to repaint the lines. No visible security measures and no gate at the entrance/exit. Haven't seen any security guard around and the guard house been empty whenever I passed by. The whole premise is open to access even at the back. The room door only has a door knob lock (latch), a safety concern since anyone could break in easily or duplicate the key. No lift, by the way, for people with heavy or bulky luggage. Room has a lot of space for luggage and circulation. Table and wardrobe are big enough for use. Small TV screen with limited channels. Has both ceiling fan and wall-mount air-con but the air-con takes very long to cool the room. For light-sleepers, the air-con, mini fridge and ceiling fan can be noisy for you but was ok for me. Bathroom sapce is decent. No shelf for toiletries at the shower area though. Biggest problem for me would be the water pressure too small for showering. Spent more than double the usual time showering because of very little water from the showerhead. Good that the ventilation window has mosquito net. There are 2 power points in the bathroom for use. Room cleaning everyday around noon, but you have to be in to reject it if you don't wish them to enter as there is no Do Not Disturb signage. So far all staff I encountered were very friendly and easy to communicate. Overall fine. Hope to see more improvement.

Room is quit spacious for 3 or 4 person, room also clean and was cleaned up everyday. They provide parking for customer and hotel also near to pantai chenang. just like 5 to 10 mins of walk and here we go with the seaview. Nearby hotel also have various restaurant, chocolate store and massage. Just need to change door for room 110 due to we find that key slot got problem and give us hard time to lock and unlock room from outside. Overall, I'm so happy and satisfied with my 5D4N experience here.

Convenience, free parking, easy access, clean room, just fit me. Im such a hurry to find accomodation as last minute my husband had been assigned job at Sintok. Enjoy my night view of Alor Setar City was amazing. Will come again next time. Recommended.
