2-Star Hotels in Penang, Malaysia

The room is looks great with a large super king size bed with 4 solid pillows. Well equipped with fridge, pantry with kettle, coffee and tea. Work table and chair. Luggage compartment. Wardrode, safe box and ironing board with compartment. Bathroom is equally well equipped with dual showers, shampoos, hair dryer, two large and small towels, toothbrush and others. A very rare retractable and robust bidet is provided. Although the room is classified as no windows but I consider it with windows but facing air wells along the corridor. The view is pleasent. The Toshiba elevators are impressive and smooth running. I consider the Forum Hotel qualified at least 3 star to 3.5 star.

This stay was absolutely perfect! Upon entering the hotel, the front desk staff warmly greeted us, checked us in super quickly, and provided helpful tips for nearby attractions. The room was impeccably clean, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, giving me a wonderful night's sleep. The bathroom toiletries were also high-quality and comfortable. The hotel's location is fantastic, with the subway station just a short walk away, making it incredibly convenient for dining and shopping. The gym is well-equipped, and the breakfast is delicious, with a wide variety of both Chinese and Western dishes. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area!

For those who are driving, take note that the hotel shares the same parking area with Victoria Inn which is next door. And the connection to phone line of Hotel 19 is not available so do call Victoria In front desk to enquire about the parking directions. I like how it's soooo convenient that it is walking distance to Chulia street and many other eateries as for my case, we just come back to the hotel and rest only. Limited room amenities are provided, I advised to bring your own toothpaste, toothbrush, vanity kit, shaving kit, shampoo (they only have conditioner), body wash and stuff. Stayed 2 nights so we requested for a room makeup, I love how the staff placed my dog plushie laying comfortably on our bed haha, so detailed! Tbh we heard the renovation noises, but it doesn't really affect us since we were tired after a long day's trip to go around the island. But it's still a nice and comfortable stay tho with most of the necessities available alr. Would come back to stay again next time and would like to try the yellow rooms for a change!

We’re 5 people (family) We got 2 bedrooms ( 2 king beds each room so totally 4 king beds) - Bed and pillows are so comfortable, we had a great sleep here - Room is clean - View is so amazing - location is good not far from George Town แนะนำเลยค่ะ สำหรับใครที่มาเป็นครอบครัวแล้วกำลังหาที่พักในปีนัง ที่นี่สะดวกสบายมากๆ ห้องใหญ่ ห้องสะอาด แต่ต้องซื้อน้ำดื่มเข้ามาเองนะคะ ที่พักอยู่ไม่ไกลจากตัวเมืองจอร์จทาวน์ และสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวต่างๆ มีwifi ให้ใช้ด้วย

Great B&B Clean and tidy, the owner is responsible and responsive The kids kept saying it was great The surroundings are quiet and clean, and it's only eight minutes away from Bogongcheng A food center is a one-minute walk away, and my mom loves Indian pancakes It's just what my mom likes I'll go again next time I'll go again next time

The rooms were clean, and they gave so much of details in the facilities provided. And the staff were friendly and amazing...! The location is perfect as there are so many restaurants and shops around the area. Overall, truly satisfied with the hotel and services....! Highly recommended!

Just a slight thing that needs imrovement such as checking the functionality of all the things inside the room. Such as, does the door have handles outside for you to fully lock the comfort room when not in used, and is the soap dispenser intact. Overall vibes of the property is amazing. Staffs are friendly. Thank you!

The door can’t be open for few hours I missed meeting on 8 am in the morning because of all my stuff in the room but the room locked and even hotel staff can’t open until they call maintenance to open it at few hour after that

On check-in day, they said there were no rooms available and the staff said they had given the wrong room to another guest. There was no parking near the hotel, and no shampoo or soap. In the middle of the night, one of the room's doors kept slamming loudly, and the power switch kept turning on and off, keeping me awake all night. There were holes in the ceiling, and when it rained, water leaked onto the floor. The large toilet was clogged and wouldn't drain. It was a bit disappointing for my first stay.

The suite is econimically good for business travelers at Mak Mandin area. Lots of factory is this area. The soundproofing of the room is not so good as you can hear people walking at the corridor at night and can hear door closing sound. Water dispenser is near the lift. Room can accommodate max 6 person but the mattress is a bit small. Toilet is normal. TV is small enough for 2 person. Not much channel but ok. AC is directly blowing to the middle bed. Not bad choice for business travelers. Parking is not much but enough and can park outside. Food restaurant is just nearby for morning and afternoon.
