At first, I was quite shocked by the room I was given because it had not been cleaned yet. The room was dirty and the bed linens hadn’t been changed. I immediately informed the staff about the situation. After I told them, the staff explained that the room was actually not supposed to be given out due to an air-conditioning issue, and that was why it hadn’t been prepared. They then moved me to another room. Overall, the replacement room was clean, comfortable and in good condition. The staff were very responsive and cooperative in solving the issue. Although the stay started off poorly, the staff’s quick action helped improve the overall experience.

this is a cosy little hotel. it's in a nice location and eothin steps to local bus stop and a short walk to komtar bus terminal too. i do like the hotel but i do have some sincere suggestions to hotel operator to make this hotel a little nicer next time. 1. the indian livehouse next door does pump loud music from 10pm-2pm. hotel should try a thick curtain on the windows to absorb the sound. sound absorbing curtain are inexpensive if buy direct from china. 2. hotel staff should replenish toilet paper daily in common toilets. instay there 6 days and notice they do so only every 2 days. 3. all the pillows are super high and hard ones. toilet should purchase some medium height softer ones that guest can ask upon request. thank you

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The property features a well-designed interior and is maintained to a very high standard of cleanliness. Its location is excellent, with easy access to many dining options nearby, and it is very convenient for getting around or booking a Grab. The staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and professional throughout my stay. Overall, this hotel is a suitable and excellent choice for anyone visiting Penang. I would gladly stay here again in the future.

Hanushini suthasan kamran I booked this hotel for friends, and they really enjoyed their stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was very kind and helpful. This was a real gem! 🏨✨ Unboxing a hotel with amazing value for money! The room was ridiculously spacious! 😂 ✔️ Two double beds + two single beds ✔️ A sofa and a refrigerator ✔️ Most importantly, there's a huge kitchen! I felt like I could just move in right away! 😆 📍The location is also very convenient. Nearby attractions are just a few minutes' drive away, so getting around is easy. I booked it on Trip.com, and the ratings were quite high, so it was definitely worth it! Of course, there were a few minor drawbacks 🤣 There's a natural alarm clock 🐔 to wake you up in the morning, and the water pipes occasionally make a little noise. Overall, for this price, it's really great! 👍 I'd definitely stay here again!

The location is great, lively, but I didn't hear any street noises while sleeping. The cleanliness was so-so; there was hair on the bed, and no toilet paper in the bathroom. The Wi-Fi was infuriatingly bad, absolutely terrible, and the staff knew but didn't fix it. Surprisingly, the Wi-Fi signal was better in the shopping mall (this hostel is located in a shopping mall, hence the description). In other words, the Wi-Fi signal was better outside the hostel than inside the mall! Also, because it was self-check-in, contacting staff was sometimes difficult; many people were waiting at the door for a reply. Originally, it was for two nights, but it was changed to one night.

設施：房間很大很寬敞，餐桌在單獨的一個房間裏。熱水器和電吹風都可以正常使用，非常方便。裝修也很有風格，應該是有用心設計過 衞生：民宿的話沒有説每天打掃，但是整體來看非常ok的，進入大堂要拖鞋，地面和牆面應該刷過防水漆，感覺挺乾淨的。毛巾的話可能是消毒水的味道吧，味道有點熟悉又陌生。。。 環境：挺好的，就是靠近馬路的房間會比較吵，但是一般晚上1點左右就沒車了。這個民宿的位置很不錯，周圍找吃的坐公交很方便，出門左手走一走就是新世界小吃街，右邊走一走就是潮汕街 Kimberly夜市，有很多吃的還有按摩店，靠近警察局，晚上比較安全 服務：挺好的，在線客服基本有求必應的。有一天我的摺疊雨傘被其他住户誤拿了，跟酒店這邊説了一下很快就找到拿我傘的住户，住户送上了巧克力表達歉意，酒店額外贈送了一份作為聖誕禮物

When on to a vacation in Penang and choose to stay at Yan Hotel, 1st of all about this hotel is the strategy of this place which is very convenience and neraby to almost all the tourism attraction restaurants. The price also reasonable for room space given. There is only one issue is the placement of the aircond is not on the correct way of air flow as the bed is place on one side and the the aircond was fixed towards the other direction. So it not helpful or feel comfortable. This issue hope the management can fix.. since they upgrading and renovating the hotel this should be helpful for them to take notice. Overall a good stay there all the staffs are good and helpful except one chinese guy wear specs was so rude and no manners at all to behave towards customers.

The accommodation is in the heart of the tourist area, with staff available 24/7. Downstairs there are restrooms, a vending machine, and a microwave. The rooms are quite soundproofed, and the beds are very comfortable. The room was clean, but the glasses had signs of use, some with lipstick marks. The water was bottled, so I wasn't entirely confident drinking it. Overall, I liked it. Booking a room for four people made the price very cheap when shared.
