This hotel is located at a very convenient location near Echigo-Yuzawa JR train station. It is also a stone's throw away from Family Mart convenience store where I get my breakfast and coffee every morning. During ski season, the area around the train station gets booked up fast due to the convenient links to the various ski resorts around the locality.
The owner of the hotel was very friendly and helpful. He was showed kindness and was concerned of my well-being too after the snowboarding sessions. Thank you so much for the enjoyable and wonderful stay at Yuzawa!

Last time I couldn't stay at the Sanjo Festival because it was full, but this time there was a vacancy and it was saved. I always use it, but there is no complaint.

The hotel may refuse to add breakfast because the number of people is full. Considering the distance from the hotel to the restaurants (such as Matsuya to cross the bridge to get there, 711 convenience store is also quite a distance), it is recommended to consider carefully whether to not have breakfast when booking the hotel. The hotel also seems to offer free bicycle loan service, which seems to have at least five cars.

It's a guesthouse run by a Chinese couple, and they speak both Chinese and Japanese.
The hotel is fully equipped, with its own restaurant offering breakfast and dinner. The bathroom has a soaking tub, perfect for relaxing after a long day of skiing. They also provide shuttle service from the ski resort, which is incredibly convenient. The owner is warm and attentive, and the landlady is very kind and responsive, always willing to help. For the past two weeks, I've gotten into the habit of asking her for help whenever I need anything, haha.

I stayed in a tatami room, and from its window I could see all the different weather conditions over the past two weeks ☀️. During this time, I met new people and formed new friendships; everyone was wonderful. Two weeks—not too long, not too short—enough to create a beautiful memory.
One choice, one connection. Next time I come to Naeba, this will definitely be my first choice again.

To get to the reception lobby, you first go up to the 5th floor to check in, then take a separate elevator to your room. The facilities are a little old-fashioned.
The location was easy to find, but the parking lot was hard to find. I stayed on a weekday, so it was fine, but if you stay on the weekend or during busy periods, you have to parallel park on a slope, which is inconvenient. I only stayed overnight, so I had a hard time finding a place to eat nearby.
I liked that there was a large public bath and that the rooms overlooked the Sea of Japan.

However, the amount is quite large, so those who eat less may not be able to eat it.
The building is old and there are many insects outside because the mountain is close, but it did not come into the room.
Because Niigata was a hot day, the air conditioning was not effective 々, and the common parts such as the corridor were quite hot because there was no air conditioning.
Instead, I'm grateful that you can always put hot springs in.

A 120-year-old shop with 150-year-old bonsai-like old trees in the backyard~ The condition of the house can be imagined. The floor will creak and creak. The toilet is clean and tidy with an electric toilet lid, which should be newly renovated. The toilets and bathrooms are shared. The boss is very nice and talkative. Behind the house is Lake Kamo. He also took us to feed the seagulls and swans. Those who need a car will drive them to the car rental office. It's a 7 or 8 minute walk from Ryotsu Port. It's easy to find.
In a tatami room, there are two-layer mattresses for sleeping. Sometimes the quilt will be delivered later to help the guests make the bed. If the room is large, it may be put in advance.

Anyway, the hot water was good. The hot springs that you can enter while cooling in the open air are exceptional. My skin became chewy and I was happy with the smoothness.
The building is old but the interior is clean and I like it with fashionable furniture. I also like the service between reasonable distances. The rice for dinner was as good as expected and delicious. However, the set meal was fried meat and fish and fried fish oyster set meal, but it was heavy for me. But all the side dishes were delicious with 4! I thought that there was an attractive okazu in the single item, and if there was a set of rice miso soup side dishes, I could assemble my favorite dinner with a single item 〜.
It was a nice inn where you can see the rice fields after harvesting and the autumn mountains 々. The heron was taking a rest on the roof.

SStabackThis place is just 5 minutes away from ishiuchi maruyama ski gondola. Great value place to stay which is easily bookable.
Owner provided transfer to and from echigo yuzawa station. Very friendly and even helped to carry the heavy luggage up the car and to our room. No lift access which is very common in smaller places like these.
Two private bathhouse available for sharing.
Rental price is great and he took great effort in ensuring fit. Also discounted gondola prices available.
Breakfast was delicious which was included too.
Overall owner and his wife are very warm to all the customers. Would stay here again!

GGuest UserI highly recommend this BnB for anyone planning to ski at Ishiuchi Maruyama Ski Resort. It’s just a 3-minute walk from the north entrance of the resort, making it incredibly convenient. The living environment is pleasant, and the pricing is reasonable.
Although the room is only seven tatami mats, it was more than adequate for my wife and me. The host is very friendly and uses a potable translator to communicate with guests, so there’s no need to worry about language barriers. Additionally, she provides delicious meals. Overall, it's a fantastic experience that I would highly recommend!

KKatieKeiko was a lovely host. She was super friendly and welcoming to the area. She was available for any questions we had and was also able to provide a freshly cooked breakfast/dinner at a very small cost. There was free parking behind the accommodation which was great as we had our own entry/exit after hours.
The room was spacious, but while the heating wasn't very strong, the bedding was extremely warm and comfortable.
Would be more than happy to stay here again any time we're in the area!
