2-Star Hotels in Southern Region, Iceland

This hotel in Vic has a very good location, near the black sand beach. We chased the northern lights that night. However, this hotel does not provide breakfast, but there is a public kitchen where you can cook your own meals.

Originally, I wanted to take a foot from the glacier lake to the Golden Circle, but I didn't expect everything to be so perfect. Beautiful rural scenery, spacious and clean facilities, kitchen, restaurant, shower room and toilet, completely exceeded expectations.

The hotel facilities are very creative. We had exactly 6 people occupying the whole room with bunk beds. It felt very novel. The restaurant next to it needs to be reserved in advance. The hot spring bathing area on the balcony on the second floor is small and cute. I will visit again next time👍🏻

The kitchenware in the room is relatively complete. Since it is difficult to book a hotel at the end of the Aurora season, this hotel is generally good and is recommended. It has an oven and other things, similar to a youth hostel, with bunk beds! It is relatively clean and hygienic, and the seasonings are basically complete; we made steak, French fries, instant noodles, etc.; parking is convenient, remember to wear slippers when entering the door! We have a separate bathroom, and we have to be quiet after 10 o'clock in the evening. The service staff will greet us in advance! It's just that the kitchen will be crowded when there are many people because it is shared, but it's acceptable! If you finish baking food, you have to clean it up by yourself, wash the dishes, etc.!

Das Zimmer war relativ klein mit starker Dachschräge - für eine Nacht ganz i.O. Ein Badezimmer (Dusche+Toilette) für 10 Leute war ein bisschen spärlich. Das Wohnzimmer & Küche waren gut eingerichtet und gross genug um einen geselligen Abend mit den Mitbewohnern zu verbringen.

I chose to stay here on the last night before leaving Iceland. The landlord is a very kind local, loves life, the house is cleanly arranged, and it can be seen from many small details.

The service did not give full marks because of self-check-in, no on-site service, phone and email contact is still very smooth. . Unexpectedly, the hotel is opposite the XHS net red lobster shop. It is very clean. It is very quiet. Although it is full, the guests have a very small voice. The shared bathroom is not expected to be so clean. It seems that the quality of the guests is very high. We also cleaned up the kitchen used for breakfast. It feels good.

The location is better to find, when you are on the 1st highway, you can see the steeple church on the north side of the uphill slope. The hotel's environment is comfortable and clean, the breakfast is simple, and all the ingredients needed for the sandwiches are made by themselves. This is basically the case in Northern Europe. The hostess is warm but feels a bit harsh.

The room is relatively large and has its own bathroom. The service was good too. Breakfast is distributed per person and coffee is available as you like. There is a small river in front of the house and a waterfall behind the house. The price is just more expensive!

A clean, no frills place. Beds were comfortable, shower was hot, and the dogs were friendly. Very close to Selfoss which has some great places to eat. Perfect as a place to stop and rest for the night.
