2-Star Hotels in Catalonia, Spain

Parking in the street was plentiful even though hotel’s parking lot was full. 24-hr free hot beverage machine was a nice perk. Service was absolutely average, minimal, unwelcoming. Cleaning lady opened our door 2 times while one of us was sleeping and the other out, resulting in terrible sleep even though check-out was noon.

The smart TV is DumbTV as it does not have WiFi and the Bluetooth and network options are disabled as well as the ISB and others. For the rest, the place is good and the people who serve are very nice. The only BIG BUT BESIDES THE DUMBTV is the WiFi that works like hell....and on top of that you consume data from the WiFi and when it stops it works even worse

Centrally located. Very close metro. Easy to reach from airport. Decent breakfast for 8.5 euros. Not many inexpensive eateries around

A cosy hostel where you can easily strike up a conversation on the large kitchen table. The location is convenient: close to the train station, but a little further from the city centre. Nice, friendly atmosphere, partly due to the presence of a dog/cat. The decor is fairly basic. Don't expect a very modern hostel.

The place is lovely for introverts I like it, €8 to Barcelona city from the hotel on train. Outside the fact it’s far from the airport and city. I believe it’s a good place for group trip. The hotel is good

This place is VERY far from the city centre and the beaches so keep that in mind when booking. Although the hostel itself is safe, bussing back at 5 am which takes about 1 hour from the clubs and city centre is not great. The room is small but it does the job. Staff are super nice and the amenities are good.

First time solo trip, the best exp I could ever imagine. The environment is very welcoming and cozy, with restaurant and activities floor for travelers to rest and have fun. The gothic area tour by Pablo is very interesting with detailed history and funny stories, greatly enhancing my understanding of this city. The buffet and dinner provided here is cheap and tasty, very worth it. Also meeting friendly people attending these activities. Strongly recommended 🥳

I have to say it's the best Youth Hostel I have ever stayed in Barcelona. The location is near the guell park, compared to the other popular location, it's not noisy and really quiet at night. Everything is clean, you can a nice aroma everywhere once you enter into the hostel. They provided the locker and the key, so it's also safety. I would definitely choose it for the next time's travel in Barcelona.

The staff were very kind and gave me advice on tourist spots. I think it's also great that they're always happy to help if I have any questions. I also thought it was great that I could eat some sweet bread whenever I felt hungry. They also kept my luggage safe, so I felt safe in that respect. It was my first solo trip, and the best thing about it was that I was able to travel without any trouble. I would definitely use it again.
