BCN Urbaness Hotels Bonavista is a budget-friendly, 2-star hostel in Barcelona’s vibrant Gràcia district, offering excellent value for young travelers. Its prime location, just 400 meters from La Pedrera and a short walk from Casa Batlló, is a standout. Guests praise the clean, compact rooms, free Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, and friendly staff. However, some note small rooms, occasional noise from street-facing rooms, and basic amenities like hard mattresses or no fridge.

I had to catch a flight early in the morning, so I made a reservation, but the hotel itself
There was nothing to see at all, but the location was really good.
I had to leave my key when I went in and out, and it was a bit difficult to take the elevator
because there were floors that didn't go there, so I had a hard time carrying my bags.
Considering that the surrounding area was a bit noisy and dirty, it wasn't that great,
but it was good for a night.
The room is very clean, very good, cleaned every day, the front desk attitude is very good, there is also a suitable breakfast, the hotel also has a refrigerator and microwave, the microwave can be used for free
It is relatively close to the nearest station and tourist spots, making it a convenient base for sightseeing in Barcelona. The rooms are kept clean and the staff are kind.
The hotel's breakfast is very good, the price of 8 euros is very cost-effective, living on the busiest Las Ramblas. The transportation is even more convenient, you can go to any famous attractions you want.
It's a very good hotel, very impressive. The location is in the city center. Exit the train and you will reach the hotel (take the L1 train and get off at Universitat station). The room is clean, with all the amenities. There is a dining room on the first floor with free coffee, tea, and drinking water all day long. There is a microphone, a hot water kettle, plates, bowls, spoons, forks, and knives, drinking glasses, and coffee cups for you to use. The room I got was on the second floor. The bathroom was very clean. There was free shampoo, shower cream, and bath water. However, there is one thing that should be improved: the bed is too soft. I recommend Hostel Delfos for anyone looking for a good and affordable room.

The location is excellent, very close to Casa Milà, Plaça de Catalunya, and Casa Batlló, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. I accidentally booked the wrong date for one of my nights. While the staff explained they couldn't directly issue a refund and that I needed to contact the booking platform, they still generously offered me a breakfast voucher, which I truly appreciated!
The room was quite spacious and clean, with a terrace. However, as it's an eco-friendly hotel, the air conditioning automatically turns off if the terrace door is open or if no one is in the room. We booked a bunk bed room, but found that the upper bunk had no guardrail at all, which felt a bit dangerous.
The hotel is located in a residential area with no shops nearby; you have to walk a bit to find any. The staff advised against parking on the street outside the hotel due to potential risks. You can park in the hotel's paid parking lot or the free police station parking lot a short distance away.
Taking a taxi from the airport costs around 21 Euros, which is quite convenient.

Positive points are location, staff friendliness, reception 24h/24h and comfort of beds/matelas.
GGuest UserThe hostel is clean and tidy even the bathroom although it's the sharing one but superb. The staff is super friendly and they are great in English so don't worry about it. And yet they had free stuff that was put on the receptionist. But if you want to travel to the centre of Barcelona, this hostel is pretty far from it. But so far it's awesome experience
도도랑쥐The shared space on the second floor was nice, with strong air conditioning and outlets. The bathroom faucet wouldn't come back on after a certain amount of time, which was a bit inconvenient when washing up. The bathroom in the room smelled so bad I had to close the door and sleep. The hostel had an elevator, and luggage storage was €3 per bag.
It was close to Casa Batlló and within walking distance of Plaça Catalunya, which was nice.
As other reviews suggest, you should consider the lack of air conditioning. Still, if I ever return to Barcelona, I'd definitely stay at this hostel.
ZZuleirisThey gave us a room that did not match the description on Trip. According to the girl at reception, Trip was to blame (we have never had any problems with Trip, everything has always been fine for us) and she also said that we could not be guided by the photos in the description that never matched, seriously!!!
Luckily it was only for one night because booking a room with a private bathroom and it doesn't have one: unforgivable. I can only say that it has a good location. I repeat this comment because it didn't come up before 🤔
GGuest UserA Home Away from Home – Perfect Location & Amazing Vibes!
This is hands down one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in! It truly felt like a home away from home. The beds are super comfortable, the entire place is clean and well-kept, and the staff are absolutely wonderful—friendly, helpful, and always ready with a smile.
The location couldn’t be better. It’s easily accessible by metro from the airport—just grab a TMB metro card (very cheap and convenient), take Line 9 to the interchange with Line 1, and get off at Urquinaona. From there, it’s just a 3-minute walk to the hostel. You’re close to everything!
If you're looking for a cozy, clean, and well-connected place to stay in the city, this is it. Highly recommended!
IiwanderStaff doesn’t speak English so if you don’t speak Spanish, you can use Google translate in your phone to communicate with them. There are two shared bathrooms. They have a pantry (free to use anytime but limited space) with free cold drinking water from water dispenser, hot water in an electric kettle, instant coffee and tea. Plates and mugs can be used too. They will knock on your door if you are making noises after midnight. Tax to be collected at the property can be paid using card. They are located in 1st floor and there is also small lift just for the luggages. Reception is 24/7 so we were able to check out early and leave our luggages which were stored in a closed room near the reception. Location is walking distance near Poble Sec metro station. The street of the hotel is being reconstructed so you can only walk on the sidewalks. Our room was just right outside the shared bathroom so it was really accessible. Felt safe as the receptionist is just there 24/7. Need to press Elkano doorbell to enter the building. Room was spacious for us 3 compared to the other Triple Room we booked during our Europe trip. This was the cheapest stay available during our dates and have mixed reviews. This was a good deal.
SSuet FanThe hotel looks like an old big house. The elevator in the building is manual and needs to be closed before it can be started. If you haven't tried it before, you must try it! When booking a room, be careful to check whether the room is a private bathroom or a shared bathroom. I wanted to book a private bathroom, but when the order was confirmed, it turned out to be a shared bathroom! The water heater in this hotel is a storage-type water heater. It takes more time to boil water, otherwise it will not be hot enough or there will not be enough hot water! Also, the socket of the shower head is installed too high to be used. You need to hold the shower head with your hands to shower, which is a bit inconvenient to wash your hair!
