The guests really enjoyed their stay. The manager was very friendly and serviceminded and the bar were of good standards. It was a friendly environment, with pleasant people all around. The guests would really recommend this hostel, close to both the tram and metro. The guests would like to come back!

Wow- My visit started with the most facetious, arrogant, condescending harridan I've ever had the misfortune to encounter at any hotel, ever. Baffling how such an obnoxious person is employed in the hospitality industry. I could write an entire review based on how horrible this person is, but it would likely be banned by Tripadvisor, so let's move on! However, the other staff member I met was the most awesome ever- and totally went above and beyond to ensure my A&O visit went as smooth as possible. (You know who you are- Thank You!!!) As for my lodging- I was relegated to an annex outside the main building, which was not too bad as the weather was agreeable. But having to walk outside to the reception, lounge, (closed) kitchen or breakfast area in the rain or snow would have been quite unacceptable. Like all A&Os the interior was spotless. My dorm however faced an open lane/parking area often populated by drunk vagrants- or maybe drunk guests. The ground was littered with beer bottles, cigarette butts, and smelly stains (you can figure that one out!). One of the few downsides about A&Os is that six bed dorms are often two pairs of bunks, and two single beds pushed together. Those two beds seems to come with a single locker, so the dorm may be lacking in that regard. The en-suite was great though- spacious and separate rooms for toilet and shower, both with sinks, lots of hot water and even a towel warmer. So yes, as I write the covid thing is still real, and precautions must be taken for the sake of the staff and guests. Which brings me to the only thing I could not abide: despite the hostel being nowhere near full, they seemed to pack each dorm to full capacity before opening another. As they say, there is a reason for everything. But if they want to take covid seriously, my hunch says fewer guests in more dorms might be safer. Especially when the common area washrooms are shuttered- what the heck!? To sum it all up- this may not sound like the best review, but I do generally recommend A&O Galluswarte. Someday when covid is a thing of the past and operations are back to normal, I hope to stay here again.

We stayed here two separate nights on our trip. The night after flying into FRA and the night before we fly out of FRA. We came from the US and met up with our daughter from the UAE. So we selected rooms to accommodate 3 adults. We found the hotel to be clean, conveniently located and economical. The room size was modest just like the price. The staff were friendly and helpful. They stored our bags as we explored locally waiting to check in. We did not try the breakfast but there are also plenty of dining options in the area. The train station is a 5 minute walk. We rode the S-Bahn to and from the airport. Trams were just out front of the hotel and provided quick links to Romer Christmas markets and the Apfelwein restaurants across the river. We would definitely stay here again

The location of the hotel was perfect for us. The service left to wish. The idea of checking in automation is in itself good if it would work. We couldn't check in because we said we paid too much automatically, it always came to the reception, but there was no. If a nice lady had not given us the information you get help in the neighboring hotel, we would certainly still stand today. The hotel itself was okay. Slight memory of youth hostels, but it was clean.

Really, you can give a 3.5 point. Say the good first: Location: Not far from the airport, Frankfurt Railway Station, Rome Square, taxis are within 10-25. In a country with a very high traffic, this fare is really too humane... Breakfast: 13 euros a, moderate. You know, there is nothing to choose from for breakfast in European hotels, and the taste of the food (see photo) is still ok. If it is a self-driving tour of Frankfurt, this hotel location is OK, the room price is very cheap. However, if you don't drive... the surrounding area is too desolate... there are no convenience stores and restaurants within walking distance... The bathroom toilet in the room is a simple shower room, very compact. The Germans and the Japanese have a fight, but really can use small space. The ”shower room” is a bit strange taste... not very heavy... But, to say the sound of my room on the elevator's side, the roar of the elevator's up and down is really earthshaking... day and night. So, cherish sleep, stay away from the elevator. By the way, the room is empty. Empty, meaning that there is no bottled water, no drinking cup, no slippers, toothbrush, etc., don't think of the ”genuine artifact” of the kettle... Remember, in addition to the hair dryer, shower gel, the room is provided with a bed to sleep...

The hotel is just a short walk from the station. But you have no trouble with the typical sounds of a station. You can easily and safely reach the city centre. The rooms are proper and have all the necessary basic luxury. No minibar or rooms there is ice. Breakfast buffet is sufficient and varied. You can stay there pleasantly. Little to no charge of other hotel guests. No permanent presence of staff at the reception bal. You can check in yourself with code. We were happy and will certainly come back. Prima base to visit Frankfurt or Mainz train.

Friendly staff. nice, friendly room. The best is the comfortable mattress. Also the headbits super. The first hotel for a long time when I was standing up without back pain and tough neck. TV with many programmes. Continental breakfast buffet. Drink and snack machine. Automatic for coffee and supper. Afterwards quiet room. Apart from Hercules, beautiful morning and evening sky. I asked where to buy this wonderful mattress, unfortunately I didn't get a answer to my mail.

God service at the hotel. On weekends quiet and no much noice. Room is separated by two doors what makes less distraction and no sound from corridors. Lidl shop just 2 min walk. Check airport-hotel shuttle but time. It can change. At my arrivals it only operate morning and afternoon. During the day by taxi. Taxi 18 euro.

This was a decent hotel to stay at with my friends. No problems to complain about really. Could easily compare to a travel lodge in the uk which is why I have given it an average score Beds were comfy and the rooms were clean. The ease to check out whenever was also a bonus

It was a nice stay at the hotel, the rooms were clean and made a good impression. The room of me had no beautiful view, but from the hall there was a nice view of the skyline. The lack of staff at check-in was confusing at the beginning but the condition of check-in machines was simple and it went quickly. Breakfast was also good and you had a pleasant night

The hotel location is very close to public transportation. The room is large and clean. It's auto check-in..you must do check-in and set room key-card by yourself on the touch screen..this is yet convenience when I forgot and left my key card in my room..I can set a new one by my self promptly at the front desk. About amenity..there are a bottle of 3 in 1 shampoo hand-soap baht-gel..and I didn't notice I thought it was hand soap. There was no drinking-water in a bottle in the room but there was a coffee-maker machine in the lobby. You can make a cup of hot cappucino for free. By overview..I do appreciate this accomodation.

Я останавливался в данном отеле всего на два ночи во время экскурсионного тура по Германии в сентябре 1998 года, но почему-то этот отель мне запомнился. Что мне больше всего запомнилось, так это то, что через дорогу от входа есть поле с небольшими деревьями. Это создавало ощущение, что отель находится не в одном из самых крупных городов Германии, а где-то за городом. Вокруг отеля нет плотной застройки, поэтому в комнате было очень светло и солнечно. Меня сразу заселили в номер, очень приветливый персонал. Холлы, коридоры и лифты в отеле были новыми и чистыми (вообще было впечатление, что отель недавно открыли). Он находится далеко от исторического центра города, но рядом (в шаговой доступности) находятся две станции метро. Моя комната была не сильно большой, но обставлена современной новой мебелью и использована в ванной новая сантехника. Постельное белье у меня было новым и чистым, немного разноцветным (не абсолютно белым). Окно моей комнаты выходило на вышеуказанные поля. Завтрак был по системе ”шведский стол”, но не отличался большим разнообразием, зато был вкусным. Я помню этот отель и с удовольствием остановился бы там снова, если бы мне представилась такая возможность.

The service offered by the reception manager (Thomas) was excellent. Service, courtesy, sympathetic and empathic. I always ask very much and ready to help. We were the first time on Saturday in the train as VIP guests of an event near the guest The greeting of the receptionist was cool and rapiad . He looked nervous and we had just a question to park and were instructed, you should listen to him first, he explains to him everything. Online we had deposited a free water on the room when booking. After check in we found that it was missing. We asked the receptionist friendly after water. And they were again “ instructed ” that you have to get the water yourself . I am myself from the hotel cabin and it's really going more friendly . We're sorry we disturbed his Saturday evening ; -) a love word and a smile do not hurt anyone . The room was clean And is functionally furnished . All well suited to the standard. Unfortunately fungal in the showers and a moderous smell. Sunday morning we were wake up by extreme noise. A foot shower from the room next to ee hears if a press airfighter penetrates the wall. In our bathroom injects the water heavily on the wires, everything was completely wet, also private items. Schön am Hotel war das Bestehen der Wutprobe, binnen dieses Aufenthaltes bei MK Hotels. Die Lage kann als passend durchgehen, wenn man mit dem Aufenthalt in einem Industriegebiet leben kann. Es ist sauber insofern, man den gesaugten Teppichboden und die aufgewischte Nasszelle bewertet. Das passt alles. Der neue Essbereich ist „so steril“ weil niemand dort frühstückt. Neben den proportional gesalzenen Preisen kostet das aufgebackene-Croissant-und-Omelette-aus-der-Tüte-Frühstück sportliche 13.80€ vor Ort und 16€ bei Booking. Für jene Summe kann man sich beim nahegelegenen Luxusbäcker S*häfer satt essen. Das zugeteilte Zimmer bietet einen (Zynismus!!) opulenten Ausblick durch die Kellerluke (25x55cm) und Lichtschacht mit vergittert-verschraubtem Nicht-Notausgang zum Eingangsbereich, wo man eventuellen Gästen beim Rauchen zuhören darf. Zum Glück ist ein Lichtlein, Nachttischläpchen und eine kleine Stehlampe vorhanden, damit der Gast erst nach einer Woche in die Depression verfällt. Das Zimmer ist kleiner als ein Natocontainer. Die Abwasserrohre welche aus der Decke kommen sind zum Glück verkleidet, womit das Gluggern nur halb so laut ist. Die Nasszelle hat zwei Türen, eine für den Gast, eine für das Zimmer nebenan. So einen Kostenersparnis-Schwachsinn, habe ich in den letzten 5 Dekaden nicht gesehen. Eine Gefängniszelle in dem Style würde gandenlos bei der Menschenrechtskommission durchfallen. Es ist eine Absteige, Kaschemme im Arbeitersmoking. Was hat nicht gefallen ? Der Witz fängt damit an, dass das Zimmer im November mit Stornobremse und Frühstück gebucht wurde, dies laut Bilder auch im Erdgeschoss bzw. erstes Stockwerk, wie 2019. Und da ich es böswilligerweise unterlies Screenshots zu fertigen, befindet man sich bei Abfrage immer auf der aktuellen Plattform. Bedeutet, dass alles passend im“Jetzt“ angezeigt wird und auf einmal kein Storno und kein Frühstück mehr vorhanden ist. Das Kellerverlies wird mittlerweile jedem Kunden zugeteilt, welcher zu Wochenende bucht. Dann sind keine Arbeiter vor Ort. Am Wochenende gibt es auch kein Frühstück, weder mit Buchung, noch gegen Geld. Ist ja ein Snackautomat vorhanden... Die 24-Hotline sagt bei Nachfrage aus, dass die Serviceabteilung nicht besetzt ist und man gerne eine Mail schreiben sollte. Auf die Antwort von Booking UND MK-Hotels warte ich heute noch. Für diese Frechheit an Ausstattung, Service und Preisleistung erhält MK-Hotels von DEHOGA noch zwei Sterne. Dann ist eine Bushaltestelle mit zumindest 1 Stern zu bewerten. Das Personal vor Ort, zwei Damen im überschneidenden stundenweisen Schichtsystem (vermutlich auf 450€ Basis), laufen mit dem Putzwagen entlang der spärlich besetzten Zimmer, wienern mal das Bad auf, und weiter geht’s. Es gibt vermutlich 2 – 4 Stunden pro Tag einen Amsprechpartner – mit Glück. I don’t know the hotel without toilet and bathroom. And the bathroom was so open. We can see each naked in bathroom. Luckily. Am not go with a girl friend. I don’t think it shown in booking. Believe trip .com should made a serious announcement on that.

It was perfect. We were very pleased with the very clean bathroom from the toilet, from the rooms to the bed. free parking .reception related .rooms are small but useful .minimalist style rooms. Since breakfast is not included, we did not do it at the hotel, we liked it in general, it is recommended
