2-Star Hotels in Hessen, Germany

I had been staying at this hotel for 6 consecutive days. The night before, I extended my stay for room 417 at the front desk. The hotel system has a complete record of my extension, and it was agreed that I would continue to stay in the original room. When I returned after going out, the hotel, without my consent or prior notice, unilaterally changed my room and altered the accommodation agreement. The new room had no duvet and no bath towels. I had to go downstairs repeatedly to request all basic amenities. One male front desk staff member was extremely rude and demanded an additional 1.90 Euros for a bath towel, even writing a note that said 'It cost 1.90 Euro.' I have uploaded a photo of this note as evidence. It wasn't until this staff member's shift ended that another staff member provided a bath towel free of charge. As an elderly traveler who doesn't speak any foreign languages, I had to rely entirely on a translation device for communication, which made interactions extremely difficult. Throughout my stay, I distinctly felt discriminated against due to the language barrier, leading to a terrible experience and leaving me feeling deeply wronged. I didn't get a chance to take photos of the missing items in the room due to the rushed circumstances, but all the guests staying in the same room that day can corroborate my account. I am attaching a formal complaint document in both German and English, demanding a formal explanation and apology from the hotel regarding the unauthorized room change, the staff member's improper charging, and the poor service, as well as reasonable compensation. The hotel system can retrieve the extension record directly, so I don't need to provide any receipts. While I don't have photos of the room lacking bedding and towels, there are other guests who stayed with me who can testify to this.

In terms of price, the CP value is OK. The location is in an alley in downtown Marlborough. Find peace amidst the noise. The only drawback is that the bed is too small. The bathroom is rather large. Cleanliness is also good.

A unique experience of staying at the historical monastery. The place is situated on top of a hill (easy to walk) above the beautiful city Fulda. You may enjoy the view from the window and especially from the terrace - the adjacent café also serves selection of breakfasts in the morning. You can also make a cup of coffee or enjoy wine/beer and some snack (offered by the facility) in the common room. The solo room is large enough, even with a table and wardrobe (and a lockable safe), conveniently warm in winter, washbasin in each room. English speaking staff is nice and helpful. The place itself is worth vising but make sure you also have time to take some walks - downtown or in the garden/park nearby.

Location besides Gallus Station,tram,busses..walking 20 minutes to Central Station that could take you other part of Germany....Frankfurt has reasonable pricing for most things essentials...staff attentive,always busy till wee hours ...cleaning team ok...has called here 3rd time and will do again coming January '27...

The hotel is quite a walk from the main train station, about 45 minutes on foot. The breakfast for a budget hotel was decent enough to fill up on, and everything else could be overlooked. However, it's really unacceptable that there was no heating in the middle of winter, and the air conditioning was just for show – it didn't work even when turned up to the max.

Very good experience. The hotel seat is very good. Very clean and distinctive. Self-check-in and check-out are so comfortable. It is also convenient to go shopping. Very satisfied with the experience. I will go to the room next time. There is a Grimm fairy tale book in the room. The fairy tale Marburg feels full.

The location of the hotel was perfect for us. The service left a lot to be desired. The idea of ​​the check-in machine is good in itself, if it worked. We couldn't check in because the machine said we had paid too much. We were always told to go to reception, but there was no one. If a nice lady hadn't told us that we could get help at the neighboring hotel, we would probably still be standing there today. The hotel itself was OK. Slightly reminiscent of a youth hostel, but it was clean.

The place location is very good. Few walks away is the Hanau Forum There is bus stop no.5 right in front of the door However there is no lift. Need to use the spiral stairs going to our room. But that is okay. The room is very clean . The space is just enough for the 2 people . There is no hanging place inside the shower room but its manageable. We forgot to bring our adaptor, they dont have any adaptor for us to borrow but you can buy it in front of the hotel for 10 euro. So its a lesson to bring international adaptor everything we travel

The hotel is only a 6mins walk from the main train station. The family room is spacious with a bunk bed suitable for children. The only downside is because we check in late we were given the room that is not being cleaned yet but the front desk quick response on it and it was changed to a new and clean room. Overall the stay were great as it was near the train station and tram stop just in front of it. There is also a nearby halal restaurant and a vending machine at the reception.

Perfectly good modern no-frills hotel. Room not huge but big enough and had all the facilities you would expect, ie. aircon, TV with plenty of channels (mostly German, obviously). Room and hotel very clean. The hotel is located about a 30 minute walk from the city centre but benefits from having the Ostbahnhof U-bahn station a few yards away. Here you can catch the U6 train into the centre (takes 10 minutes at most). If using the U-bahn and S-bahn systems, get a day ticket (7 euros) - otherwise it’s 3 euros 65 for a single journey.
