One of the best hotel stay in yunnan. The view was impeccable. The room was clean and all the basic necessities are provided. It is situated at walking distance from KMG railway station and easy to find. There are a lot of convenience store and restaurants nearby.

I enjoyed my stay at this hostel. The environment was great, both from the staff and the guests. Really made me, the only foreigner, feel comfortable among them. Also very close to the best value noodles place I have yet found in SE Asia, and to the Ancient Town, and provided a good value bike rental (very solid bike). Riding it along the ancient train itinerary was her highlight of my Jianshui visit. Highly recommend 👌

We had an amazing experience during our 4 night stay in the Xianlai inn (idle inn) in Dali. We were hosted by a wonderful couple that went above and beyond typical hotel hospitality. They met all our requests ( eg fixing our showering hose when the water output was too low, helping to extend our stay for 2 more night when our friend experienced health issues etc). We were a group of 5 travellers and they tried their best to provide the largest available rooms for us during our extension. They also gave very good food recommendations (these restaurants were clean and hygienic. The staff were nice and the food was delicious) A friend of ours injured (tipsy) himself from a fall in the hotel room late into the night. We informed them and they immediately helped us get taxi to the hospital and the husband even travelled to the hospital to help with us with communications with the local medical staff. When our friend came back to the hotel the wife even provided homemade food for him as he had no appetite. Would highly recommend this inn to all visitors to dali for a comfortable and wonderful stay. This hotel is a B&B. The hotel has a unique Chinese style, and the rooms are also Chinese-style. The price/performance ratio is already very high. The hotel is located in Tea Horse Ancient Town and is of relatively high-end quality in the area. The key is that the boss does it himself. If you have any problem, just say hello to the boss and he will solve it personally. It feels like home and is worth visiting again in the future.

great room. slept very well. yummy yunnan coffee and breakfast made by Anan, lovely host and tour guide who speaks english. loved the family who lives there and their cat and neighbors's cat. was able to stretch and do some yoga poses and the rooftop terrace has a great view of dali, the mtns and you can also get a glimpse of lake. will come back

Spacious and comfort place for a short stop over. Nice garden with beautiful flowers surrounded, huge woodcarving pieces, arts and crafts to appreciate. Tea testing with story telling from owner is great. The down side is the wooden plank floor makes noise when walked on, please add accessories in bathroom. Airport pickup and drop off service is great with a short wait, do have a local phone number easy for driver to contact you.

The room smelled heavily of cigarettes, and there were hairs on the sheets and pillowcases, which was disgusting, but everything else was worth the price. The proprietress was nice, the inn facilities were very thoughtful, the details of the public areas were carefully arranged, the location was good, the price/performance ratio was high, and there were not so many bars in the ancient town to bother you when you go to bed at night.

I am very honored to live in a cost-effective and low-priced homestay. The surrounding environment is excellent, the supporting facilities are complete, and the transportation is convenient to go anywhere. The bus station for the scenic spot is only 2 minutes away, and the supermarket is 5 minutes away. We like it very much. The boss also went to the airport to pick us up in person. Thank you very much. I recommend a one-day tour. I hope to have the opportunity to meet again next time
