Even the pickiest Virgo couldn't find a single flaw here. Every detail shows thoughtful touches, so go ahead and book with confidence! You won't regret it!
📍Location: Fantastic! Less than 200 meters from Baisha Ancient Town's main street; super convenient for shopping and dining! It's about a 30-minute taxi ride to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, and getting a taxi from the hotel is very easy.
📣Cleanliness: The cleanest place I've ever stayed, without a doubt! (See pictures) Towels are individually wrapped, cups are covered, and it's spotlessly cleaned daily! Everything is arranged perfectly, satisfying even the most obsessive tidiness. The faucets and showerheads shine so brightly you can see your reflection! They even thoughtfully provided hooks for hanging clothes in the shower! 🪝
🎊Environment: Absolutely lovely! The aesthetic is spot on. Even if you don't go anywhere, you could happily spend a whole day just chilling in the lobby. The fireplace keeps things cozy and adds a warm, homely feel. There's a beautiful little courtyard and a small terrace with a direct view of the 'Golden Mountain at Sunrise'! You can watch it and then go back for another nap! With underfloor heating, it's incredibly comfortable for a winter stay.
👍Details: 200 points! They offer pick-up and drop-off at the parking lot. Even the key card is unique! I was sad not to meet the owner this time (I heard it's a man), but the two young women running the place were incredibly organized and efficient – like four strong men rolled into one! So capable! With Chinese New Year approaching, the boss should definitely reward them! They proactively offered a special soothing tea when they heard a family member coughing and readily shared travel tips. All in all, it was incredibly heartwarming! They even helped with laundry…
🫶Breakfast: You can choose between Chinese and Western style; just let the young ladies know the day before. Options include rice noodles, Ersi noodles, or toast, and tea or coffee.
🎉I stayed in the lobby until 11 PM on my last night, truly not wanting to leave. I'll definitely be back! I highly recommend they open more branches! Wishing the owner great success and please, take good care of our 'home'!

I spent three nights at Liuji and had a wonderful, relaxing experience. The guesthouse had a novel yet down-to-earth design, with two meticulously maintained courtyards and six uniquely themed rooms. It ensured quality accommodation while incorporating local characteristics. Compared to other guesthouses in the ancient town that were simply beautifully designed, Liuji felt warm and charming.
The guesthouse staff provided excellent concierge service from booking to check-out. They offered pick-up and drop-off service to the ancient town, and guests could easily request coffee. Each evening, depending on availability, there were late-night snacks and a bonfire for drinks. A thoughtful gift was also given before departure. Overall, the service was very warm and attentive.
The rooms were fully equipped, and the personal care products were thoughtfully provided—LeLabo toiletries, Marshell speakers, basically everything guests might need. The attention to detail was excellent. Although it was a converted old house, the underfloor heating kept it warm in winter, and a humidifier was provided for dry conditions. Breakfast offers both Chinese and Western options. For lunch and dinner, we recommend booking at Shanxun Yunxiang, a restaurant next to the guesthouse. If you prefer takeout, Huanshan Private Kitchen is also a good option.
Although the guesthouse isn't in the absolute center, it's conveniently located away from the hustle and bustle, bringing you closer to nature and the village. If you're looking for a slow-paced, unplanned getaway, staying at Liuji in Baisha Ancient Town is a great choice. In the morning, you can wake up to the sunrise over Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. During the day, explore the Baisha murals in the ancient town, find a coffee shop to soak up the sun, and in the evening, sit in the guesthouse courtyard and gaze at the starry sky. Even within a kilometer radius, you can still experience a sense of tranquility and comfort.
Hopefully, I'll have the chance to come back again!

AggieThe room was very clean, and the host was super friendly and helpful with luggage. There's also a Samoyed named Mitsu who is incredibly friendly; my kids absolutely adored her and couldn't bear to leave. The dog was very clean and well-behaved. Overall, the guesthouse was very quiet.

Y.A.CWe had a 6 night stay at Yulong Homestay and the location is a big highlight - right in the mix of Baisha Ancient Town. We were met outside of the ancient town on arrival as our taxi could not enter, so it was lovely they were able to carry our luggage on the tricycle. Communication with the butlers were easy on WeChat and they were very helpful and friendly. Some suggestions - it might be good to add another communication channel on Trip.com rather than just a Chinese phone number as we needed help from our previous homestay to call and communicate to get connected on WeChat. This would certainly help future non-Chinese speaking foreigners to arrive at the drop off point or know they cannot just drive into the hotel. Daily housekeeping is also a bit limited compared to other places we've stayed in Yunnan - it included refreshing disposable towels, drinking water and toilet paper and taking rubbish, so those that decide to stay more than overnight may need to consider this.... although I think most guests didn't stay as long as us.

xtoutaxhI highly recommend this Hobbit Sky Garden B&B. I've brought my family here for three years in a row. The rooms are very comfortable, and sitting by the window, it feels like the garden seamlessly extends indoors. It's spotlessly clean, and the service is wonderful, like family. They even have a tricycle to pick up luggage at the entrance of the ancient town! The breakfast ingredients are fresh, and the rice noodles made by the Naxi auntie are a delicious treat I always remember! Seeing the snow-capped mountains from the Hobbit Sky Garden is so relaxing. This year, there's a new surprise: the inn has a charming new member, a husky named Fat Doubao! Go for it, this is the place!

Honestly, I rarely post reviews—but this time I really felt like I had to, because this hotel was the highlight of my family trip to Yunnan.
From the moment we entered the hotel gate, we were already amazed. The place is even more beautiful in real life than in the photos. The staff member who communicated with us via WeChat was incredibly helpful—from arranging our transfer from the station to the hotel, to accommodating my dietary restrictions as a Muslim. They kindly prepared a special breakfast for us: rice noodles with egg, along with sweet potatoes, corn, and boiled eggs. What made it even more special was that everything was cooked by a very warm grandmother. Despite the language barrier, we could truly feel the warmth and love in her cooking.
The cabin we booked was absolutely perfect. It had a spacious yard, a hot tub, and a terrace with a table and chairs—great for dining or simply spending time together with family. Stepping inside the cabin was even more impressive: a large bed, lots of natural light, and equipped with smart home devices. One important detail for us was the bathroom—it had a bidet and a fully smart toilet with remote control. Since the temperature in Lijiang varies greatly between day and night, we were very grateful that the cabin had both floor heating and room heating. The bedroom also featured a large projector, and above it, a sunroof that can be opened—perfect for stargazing at night. It truly exceeded all our expectations.
The hotel area is also next to a very aesthetic café with a stunning view called Yuntian Cafe. For those traveling with family, this place is perfect—the area is spacious and great for kids to explore nature. If you want to go out for meals, Baisha Ancient Town is just a few kilometers away.
What I will remember the most is the kindness of the staff. Everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly, always doing their best to accommodate every request. Please never change—your hospitality feels just like being with family. Next time we visit Lijiang, we will definitely stay here again without hesitation.

Initially, we booked the family suite but had to change the room due to an issue with the toilet. The boss was very helpful and quickly arranged a new room for us. The new room was much more comfortable, so we are thankful to the boss for that.
Regarding cleanliness, we wish the rooms could be cleaner. The hotel should pay more attention to hygiene, especially that of the toilet.
Another inconvenience was that there were many mosquitos in the room. Fortunately, the hotel provided a mosquito killer racquet and killer mats, so we were able to eliminate most of the mosquitos. Perhaps the mosquitos find some breeding grounds on the beautiful patio in the middle of the house.
The location of the hotel is good. It's very quiet but close enough to most of the attractions in the city of Lijiang.
The service attitude is very good. The boss and the cleaning lady are very kind and attentive. The lady prepared a nice breakfast for us, so thank you. The boss helped us book a taxi for the day we were leaving early in the morning. We really appreciate the kind service provided by the staff.
Regarding price for value, we think it might be a bit overpriced given the condition of the rooms.
Overall, this hotel is very beautiful. The furniture is traditional and beautiful. The central patio is exquisite and we loved the traditional Chinese design. The staff is kind and attentive.

Facilities: 4 stars | Ambiance: 5 stars | Service: 4 stars
Choosing Tingxueju for my stay in Lijiang was an excellent experience overall, and I just had to share my honest thoughts.
First off, the guesthouse's ambiance is truly wonderful, completely living up to my imagination of Lijiang Old Town! The courtyard is beautifully maintained, with flowers and plants artfully arranged. Sitting there, sipping tea and soaking up the sun, was incredibly relaxing. The room decor also features strong local characteristics, with wooden structures and ethnic soft furnishings. It was very quiet at night, ensuring a great night's sleep.
The only slight drawback was that the facilities felt a little outdated. For instance, the heating in the room was quite slow to react, and the water temperature and pressure for showering at night were a bit inconsistent. I hope the owner can gradually upgrade these. Also, there was no proactive cleaning service during my stay, which can be a bit inconvenient for guests staying multiple days. It would be perfect if there could be a simple tidying up each day.
However, these minor issues don't overshadow the positives. Tingxueju's location is excellent, making it convenient to get anywhere, and the owner is very warm and welcoming, offering many great travel tips. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Lijiang, and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a peaceful environment!

When my mother agreed to visit Lijiang with me, I browsed many hotels in Trip.com and sorted out this hotel out of many hotels with good reviews without knowing beforehanded that this will fulfill my satisfaction to the most. Before we got there, I contacted the hotel if it is comfortable for my mom to stay there because she is 88 years old and need to use wheelchair. After that they made up a wechat group to facilitate us. The staff who took care of us , xiao juan , helped us with the trip plan, escorted us to the ancient town of Dayan and Shuhe ,lead us to understand the town of Baisha and helped us with everything we need. She shows her emphaty to people with everthing she does. All the staffs there are young , polite and friendly. The location of the hotel is very suitable for exploring the ancient town of Baisha. The view of the snow mountain can be seen from the inner garden and more clearly from the third floor of the hotel. The room is comfortable with good quality bedsheet , blanket , towels and the heating floor. The breakfast is adequate with a set of chinese small dishes together with a choice of boiled rice or noodles. They provide free coffee all day with daily afternoon tea set and late night sweet soup and plum wine. I feel like I have nothing to ask more and wish to express my gratitude to all the staffs here. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to all who need to receive impressive service from these lovely staffs.

I recommend conducting thorough research before making reservations to fully understand what to expect. We were somewhat surprised by the campsite-style setup, as we booked based solely on website photos without delving into the specifics.
While the facilities are adequate, the layout lacks privacy. For instance, to use the cabin's toilet, all curtains on the first level must be closed. Additionally, the toilet bowl is situated behind stairs without any curtains, potentially allowing others in the cabin to see. Moreover, the second-level flooring consists of planks with numerous gaps, providing visibility to the first level, including the bathtub and toilet bowl.
I strongly advise against booking this accommodation for families with children due to the safety risk posed by the sliding doors on the second level, which lack safety measures. While they offer a unique view of the mountain, the danger of potential falls is significant. If you do choose to consider it as a family cabin, I recommend checking with the staff to lock the doors from the outside for added safety.
Despite the unexpected aspects mentioned above, our overall stay was still decent. The staff were hospitable and helpful throughout our visit. Communication was convenient via WeChat for check-in details, recommendations, and self-checkout. It seems that the camping style of accommodation was a selling point, it’s definitely a unique stay. I’m sure there’s a specific crowd that would fully enjoy the experience.
