The quality of service is good, the decoration of the hotel is consistent with the style of Zen, there is a place by the window to see the street view outside the window, feeling quiet and comfortable. Parking is not easy to find, it's best to use Google Street View to find your way beforehand.

Rooms were clean, check in was easy, breakfast was satisfactory. The info related to parking in the reviews is incorrect. The hotel does not have its own parking and you need to use pay parking close by the hotel. There are several options at different price levels, and the hotel recommends which one to use upon check-in but be advised that the parking lots begin to fill up as the day gets later so the later you arrive, the more you pay for parking, and hopefully all does not fill up. Overall, I would go back if I the area, it was a great price / value.

Location is convenient, 5-minute walk from JR Shimonoseki Station - through the footbridge or the underpass (footbridge recommended if you are carrying with you large pieces of luggage as elevators are available). But actually the hotel ignore early check-in, so I must paid 1000 yen for nothing to do at the room. I think the hotel don’t get any good mindset to traveler and don’t have any flexible about the rule of conditions. Traveling at japan disappoints and more getting tired to understand their service mind.

Since most hotels are clustered around Shimonoseki Station, location isn't a major advantage. However, the staff's friendliness is the biggest draw. The windows don't open, which can be a bit frustrating. The facilities are old, and the refrigerator doesn't cool down. However, the spacious rooms are a plus for the price. It seems they also operate a capsule hotel on the middle floor. There's a large bath, similar to a local bathhouse. I'd like to ask you to only use non-smoking rooms. Please!

The interior of the hotel and the room are all fashionable and open I felt bright even if I was in the building. The ocean river from the room was also great. The room is small enough to open a 24-inch suitcase. The bed is hard, the pillows are softer and collapsed, and there is a spare pillow in the lobby (hard or soft), but near the smoking room, there will be smoke on the pillows. The room is quite clean and tidy. The magnet provided on the door can be used to inform the guests whether to organize the next day. If not, the new towels and garbage bags will be hung on the door handle. Breakfast tastes OK, but the items are less than the general hotel, eating is OK, eating coincidence may have to be considered. The overall stay is also comfortable!
