TOHO HOTEL location is fantastic accessible to 3 subway stations, direct train to Kansai Airport. Walking distance to Osaka Shinsekai/Tsutenkaku. If you dont mind walking more to Shinsaibashi its far but along the way you can visit some small Shrines and temples. There's a 24hrs laundry service just across TOHO. So dont hv to bring too many clothings keep space for shopping and food đđťđđťđđť

My dream hotel! Staying here for five nights was such a blessing; it significantly boosted the happiness of my entire Kansai trip. It honestly made me so disappointed with the hotels I stayed in afterward. From now on, whenever I come to Osaka, I'm definitely staying here.
The room was spacious, and the mattress and bedding were incredibly soft and clean â I slept so comfortably. I especially appreciated the fully enclosed duvet cover, which felt very hygienic (unlike another hotel of the same caliber I stayed in later, where they only used a single sheet between the duvet insert and the bottom sheet. Every time I moved, the sheets, duvet, and cover would all get tangled up â it was disgusting! Plus, the material felt as terrible as curtain fabric; it infuriated me!).
The bathroom wasn't huge but was very clean, and all the fixtures were new. There were two bottles of mineral water provided. You need your room card to use the elevator. The view of the river from the window was beautiful, both during the day and at night.

The room is a bit too old looking but still clean. Hotel has a smoke area by the entrance which is quite bothersome.
There is no common area to sit and chill out just like any other hotels. The room also has no air condition. If you need good air ventilation, you need to leave windows open which can be very noisy as the hotel is right beside a main street, many emergency cars passby.

I had a concert at Kyocera Dome, but my night bus was canceled due to snow, so I quickly booked this hotel. It was a direct route on Midosuji Street. From the outside, it looked like a forest! There was a huge tree at the front desk! There were several check-in machines, so I didn't have to queue and could check in right away. It asked for a photo of my driver's license (why?). This might be difficult for foreigners. To get to the room, you first take the elevator at the front desk, get off on the second floor. Once you're in the hallway, there's another elevator that takes you to the guest rooms. The unique exterior, interesting check-in process, and the fun journey to the room really excited me! The room uses a password key for entry. When I checked in, a receipt-like paper came out with the password on it. It's not an auto-lock, so make sure to press the lock button before you go out. Overall, the room lighting is dim. The full-length mirror is also tucked between two walls, so you can't really see yourself. It's hard to do makeup. The bathroom is small, but if you're used to traveling, I think it's acceptable. I had a very comfortable stay. The TV settings were difficult, and I couldn't watch terrestrial digital broadcasting, but I could watch YouTube.

I booked this hotel and the service was great. It was very convenient that they spoke Chinese. They don't clean the rooms daily; if you want it cleaned, you need to tell the staff. They will help take out the trash though. Everyone was very polite. The price was also reasonable.
Location is just perfect. Easy access to lots of places of interest like dotonbori, Kuromon Market, takashiMaya, .... You may walk for around 30 to 40 minutes OR just ride on the MRT named Shin-Imamaya. From Shin-Imamaya, must exit East to reach the hotel. West exit do not provide elevator. Need to walk up and down with MANY MANY ten steps of staircase
Abeno Q's Mall, Mio and Kintetsu department is located 1 km away. Tsusentaku towel is 200 m away. Donki Quijote is 400 m away Spa world is 100 m away. Best location in Osaka.
The only complaint is the breakfast. I would not say they provided lots of food but sufficient in Japanese style food which I like. Western food is really really limited. Must take the breakfast before 9 am. Even though last order is 9.30 am but after 9 am food will not be topped up if they are running out. So you have very limited choices after 9 am. The breakfast cost 2000 yen. Not suggest to take their breakfast if not in the accomodations package. Overall satisfied.

You get all you need. Strategic location. If you don't mind walking a little further you can walk to Shinsaibashi shopping street. The ramen shop next to it is pretty good! The bathroom is a bit small and may be hard to turn around.

Very Good
The room itself is well maintained and the facilities are common basic ones that I need as a solo female traveler. It a 5 minute walk to Juso Station and a lot of convenience store around. They have a coin laundry machine as well so it was easier to wash clothes when I needed it. All additional things that you need such as toiletries are also readily available at the lobby area. And the best part was the free breakfast!
Very worth it in Osaka Japan hotel !!! The hotel is impeccably clean, extremely convenient, and offers spacious rooms that easily accommodate four large suitcases. The thoughtful layout and ample space made our stay incredibly comfortable and stress-free. Highly recommended for travelers seeking both comfort and practicalityďź
location just 7 minutes walking distance to any nearest you want to go. Rooms is quiet even there are busy outside the hotel. Only I don't like is the pillow, it too flat for me.
This hotel offers complimentary breakfast for all guests. The room is small but well optimized. Complimentary toiletries are available at reception 24X7. They don't offer complimentary water bottles, need to buy from their vending machine. It's little far from osaka station.

Very Good
Location: Next to Bentencho station so easy access to Osaka loop line and Chuo Line for Subway and Rail. Really good location even though it's not central Osaka. The advantage is that you can still get everywhere within 10-20mins and the surrounding area is clean and safe and quiet. There is a 7-11 next door and a commercial gym (charged at 1650 per day) Negatives are there is not much to do in the evenings. But this leads to the quietness of the area and is an advantage Hotel Room: We stayed in double room and it was large. Nice comfortable bed with good pillows. The AC was modern and good and did not make noise even while we were asleep. The room is cleaned daily (tidy and new towels) with new sheets every 3 days. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner provided. The room was also very clean. The bed has USB and chargers on either side of it. There is space to hang clothes But the room is really nice. We always were glad to come back to a very clean and tidy place. The TV has English menus but we never watched anything. Negatives are the fridge could be colder and the bathroom sink has a tiny slope on it so you cannot place product on the sink but you have a shelf above the sink for this. Very slight negatives for what is a great place to stay Hotel features: Excellent. Great laundry room with several washers & dryers. Trouser presses, vending machine and ice machine. A rooftop terrace with good views. The breakfast is free and is underwhelming, just different bread and pastries with choices of juice, soups, water and yogurt. It's acceptable and I guess it's free. The hotel lobby has little items you can take if needed, such as hair bands, toothbrushes, razor kits but something nice was that they give you bath bombs for free too. Different ones each day. Staff: Very friendly and helpful, even after midnight when I made requests they were very fast and helpful Overview: 100% would stay here again. The price-to-quality ratio and the large room size make this an easy choice. Do not worry about location, I stayed it Dontonburi area before and alothgh its close to everything, its loud, dirty and feels unsafe. But the location of Porta Inn is really good and super easy to get to central areas (around 10-20mins) and easy to get to the airport (direct line) and easy to get to Universal Studios too.
This hostel is an absolute gem! The location couldn't be more perfectâjust a short walk from the stunning Osaka Castle, the fascinating museum, and the beautiful surrounding park. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and went out of their way to offer helpful local tips. The area is super convenient, packed with convenience stores and with metro stations close by, making exploring the entire city a breeze. The atmosphere was warm, and the facilities were clean and well-maintained. For the price, the value is outstanding. I truly enjoyed my stay here and will be recommending it to all my friends. Without a doubt, I will choose this hostel again on my next trip to Osaka!

Amazing
I recently stayed at Hotel Cargo Shinsaibashi during my trip to Osaka, and I was pleasantly surprised by the comfort and quality packed into this compact, capsule-style accommodation. One of the biggest highlights of my stay was the toilet and bathroom area â exceptionally clean, modern, and cozy. Despite being a shared facility, everything was spotless and well-maintained at all times. The design was sleek, and the space felt more like a boutique hotel than a budget capsule. The toilets are equipped with Japanâs signature high-tech bidet functions, and the overall cleanliness really exceeded my expectations. Even the subtle lighting and warm wood tones added to the relaxing feel every time I used the bathroom. The rest of the hotel was equally impressive. The capsules were comfortable, quiet, and felt more private than I expected. The lounge area was a nice place to relax or do a bit of planning for the day. Plus, the location is perfect â just a short walk from Shinsaibashi shopping street and a quick train ride to most Osaka hotspots. If youâre looking for a well-designed, clean, and cozy place to stay in Osaka, I highly recommend Hotel Cargo Shinsaibashi. Especially if you value hygiene and comfort in shared facilities, this hotel delivers above and beyond.
