TOHO HOTEL location is fantastic accessible to 3 subway stations, direct train to Kansai Airport. Walking distance to Osaka Shinsekai/Tsutenkaku. If you dont mind walking more to Shinsaibashi its far but along the way you can visit some small Shrines and temples. There's a 24hrs laundry service just across TOHO. So dont hv to bring too many clothings keep space for shopping and food đŸ‘đŸ»đŸ‘đŸ»đŸ‘đŸ»

My dream hotel! Staying here for five nights was such a blessing; it significantly boosted the happiness of my entire Kansai trip. It honestly made me so disappointed with the hotels I stayed in afterward. From now on, whenever I come to Osaka, I'm definitely staying here. The room was spacious, and the mattress and bedding were incredibly soft and clean – I slept so comfortably. I especially appreciated the fully enclosed duvet cover, which felt very hygienic (unlike another hotel of the same caliber I stayed in later, where they only used a single sheet between the duvet insert and the bottom sheet. Every time I moved, the sheets, duvet, and cover would all get tangled up – it was disgusting! Plus, the material felt as terrible as curtain fabric; it infuriated me!). The bathroom wasn't huge but was very clean, and all the fixtures were new. There were two bottles of mineral water provided. You need your room card to use the elevator. The view of the river from the window was beautiful, both during the day and at night.

Overall, the service and location were excellent. Very friendly staff and the hotel is close to many places of interest by public transport or within walking distances. Good access to public transport. The only minor thing was probably waiting for the lifts mainly in the mornings, as there are only two small ones. But overall very happy with the service and location.

I had a concert at Kyocera Dome, but my night bus was canceled due to snow, so I quickly booked this hotel. It was a direct route on Midosuji Street. From the outside, it looked like a forest! There was a huge tree at the front desk! There were several check-in machines, so I didn't have to queue and could check in right away. It asked for a photo of my driver's license (why?). This might be difficult for foreigners. To get to the room, you first take the elevator at the front desk, get off on the second floor. Once you're in the hallway, there's another elevator that takes you to the guest rooms. The unique exterior, interesting check-in process, and the fun journey to the room really excited me! The room uses a password key for entry. When I checked in, a receipt-like paper came out with the password on it. It's not an auto-lock, so make sure to press the lock button before you go out. Overall, the room lighting is dim. The full-length mirror is also tucked between two walls, so you can't really see yourself. It's hard to do makeup. The bathroom is small, but if you're used to traveling, I think it's acceptable. I had a very comfortable stay. The TV settings were difficult, and I couldn't watch terrestrial digital broadcasting, but I could watch YouTube.

The rooms are well-equipped and very clean. There's free coffee in the lobby on the first floor. The hotel is located right behind Yasaka Shrine, not far from Nankai Namba Station, and you can even walk to Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi.

Location is just perfect. Easy access to lots of places of interest like dotonbori, Kuromon Market, takashiMaya, .... You may walk for around 30 to 40 minutes OR just ride on the MRT named Shin-Imamaya. From Shin-Imamaya, must exit East to reach the hotel. West exit do not provide elevator. Need to walk up and down with MANY MANY ten steps of staircase Abeno Q's Mall, Mio and Kintetsu department is located 1 km away. Tsusentaku towel is 200 m away. Donki Quijote is 400 m away Spa world is 100 m away. Best location in Osaka. The only complaint is the breakfast. I would not say they provided lots of food but sufficient in Japanese style food which I like. Western food is really really limited. Must take the breakfast before 9 am. Even though last order is 9.30 am but after 9 am food will not be topped up if they are running out. So you have very limited choices after 9 am. The breakfast cost 2000 yen. Not suggest to take their breakfast if not in the accomodations package. Overall satisfied.

The hotel is in a very convenient location. The metro station is about 100 meters away, and there are 7-Eleven and Family Mart stores nearby. It is very easy to get to Kyoto Station and convenient for reaching the airport. That’s where the advantages end. There was no water in the room at check-in. We were told to buy it ourselves from a vending machine. It was also stated that there would be welcome drinks, but there was nothing. The only coffee available was instant and of very poor quality, so after breakfast we had to go to 7-Eleven to buy proper coffee. Breakfast is listed as being served until 9:30. We arrived at 9:15, and the staff member who was cleaning the area tried to make us leave. The same happened to other guests. Only thanks to the chef were we allowed to stay. At the reception desk, we were told that we should come at 9:00, even though it clearly says breakfast is until 9:30. While we were eating, everything around us was being cleared away, and we were not given the chance to choose our food properly. It felt very uncomfortable. The rooms are old and worn out. There was a moldy smell in the bathroom. The pajamas provided were very old, thin, grey-blue in color, and almost see-through. Additionally, we were not informed about the renovation works in the building. There was no message about it when we made the reservation. In reality, there were construction scaffolds, and we had to carry our suitcases up the stairs. Only upon arrival were we given a notice saying there would be painting and other work. There was a noticeable smell of paint in the room. The location is good, but the service and the condition of the hotel were very disappointing

The room was quite clean and a decent size, though the bathroom was on the smaller side. However, it was perfectly functional – everything you need in a compact space. There are plenty of convenience stores nearby, including a FamilyMart right downstairs. The subway station is about 700 meters away, less than a 10-minute walk, which is great. It's a good option if you're traveling solo or with family. The front desk staff included a Chinese lady, which made communication very easy. It seems like quite a few Chinese guests stay here.

HHeiressjloThe room itself is well maintained and the facilities are common basic ones that I need as a solo female traveler. It a 5 minute walk to Juso Station and a lot of convenience store around. They have a coin laundry machine as well so it was easier to wash clothes when I needed it. All additional things that you need such as toiletries are also readily available at the lobby area. And the best part was the free breakfast!

GGuest UserThe hotel is right next to Yotsubashi Station. If you're coming from Shinsaibashi, it's quite a long walk for an in-station transfer, which isn't very convenient. There's a McDonald's and a 24-hour supermarket downstairs. However, the 10 AM check-out time is unacceptable; hotels in Tokyo and Aomori all have 11 AM check-out. On the first night, I asked the front desk for an extra pillow and blanket but was told they didn't have any. Breakfast access is denied after 9:30 AM, and the selection is very limited. The room size was the smallest I encountered during my entire trip to Japan. The price is a bit high, making the value for money just average. While a 26-inch suitcase can be opened, for a family trip, kids pretty much have to sit on the bed as there's not much space to move around. The bathtub and toilet are in the same bathroom, not a separate setup. Overall, if I visit Osaka again, I won't consider this hotel. I strongly advise against booking the breakfast; for over 100 yen per person, you're better off getting something at McDonald's downstairs.

GGuest UserThe overall experience was good, and you simply can't beat the location—it's the best in Osaka, especially in Namba. However, the room was quite small, and the facilities are limited. If you're looking for a place to sleep and explore the city, it works well, but don't expect much space or extra amenities.

GGuest UserFacilities: The hardware is excellent. There are many power outlets in the room, and it even has USB ports for direct charging. There's a cool-white lighted makeup mirror, which is very convenient for women. You can even open a 28-inch suitcase in the hallway. Cleanliness: This was the cleanest hotel I stayed in during my 13 days in Japan. Environment: The location is great, right in the Umeda commercial district. There's a FamilyMart and 7-Eleven both about 200 meters away. Bonus: The breakfast is really delicious. The curry rice is even better than what you'd find in a regular curry restaurant.

AAdam_HKSAR## Hygiene and Service: The hotel has a policy that guests must put out a 'clean my room' sign before 10 AM each day for full housekeeping. Otherwise, only towels and trash bags will be replaced. Even with full cleaning, it's just a basic tidying up; linens and pillowcases are not changed. ## Location: It's a bit far from Osaka JR Station, but you can get there directly via bus #88. There's a convenience store downstairs, but not many restaurants in the immediate vicinity. ## Facilities: There's a public bath (which is also open to the public, so it can get very crowded in the evenings). On the first floor, the lobby offers soda, coffee, and an ice machine for guests to use at any time.

CChocoAlisonThe location is very convenient, with JR lines directly to the airport and Expo, Osaka Loop Line and Midosuji Line directly to the city center. There is a large 7-11 and a Café de Cabrera downstairs. A five-minute walk will take you to a super large Life supermarket, which sells sashimi, bento, and cooked food. For breakfast, there are a variety of packaged breads, rice balls, drinks and soups, as well as yogurt pudding and yogurt, but you have to go early, as there will be no choice after 8:30. You can take your breakfast back to your room and eat it without taking it out of the hotel. Free umbrellas are provided when it rains. There is no bottled water in the room, only a kettle. Ice can be picked up on the 8th floor. There is coffee and tea bags available for pick-up in the lobby. The hotel only provides shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, and skin care product samples need to be purchased for 500 yen. The hygiene is very good. The auntie cleans the room very carefully. She will put everything away and put it back in place, and help fold clothes. There is only one chair in the 4-person room, it would be better if there were one or two more chairs. After 10pm, you need to swipe your room card to enter the hotel, which is quite safe.

GGuest UserI had a generally decent stay at Welina Premier Hotel Shinsaibashi, with a few strong highlights and some trade-offs to be aware of. Location – Excellent but with a Catch The location is definitely one of the biggest advantages. The hotel is situated right opposite Don Quijote, making it extremely convenient for late-night shopping and quick access to Dotonbori, Namba, and surrounding shopping streets, eateries, and nightlife. Everything is within walking distance, which made getting around very easy. However, the downside of being in such a lively area is the environment. Since the hotel is surrounded by clubs and bars, the streets can be quite dirty, especially in the morning. You may notice trash and unpleasant smells when stepping out. That said, it’s clear that local workers clean up regularly and do their best to maintain the area. Room – Spacious and Functional The room size is larger than average for this price range in Osaka, which was a pleasant surprise. There was enough space to comfortably open two large suitcases. Amenities were provided, including a safe box, kettle, and a small coffee/tea setup. Toiletries are from POLA, a good-quality Japanese brand, although a shower cap was not included. One drawback is the housekeeping policy. Complimentary room cleaning is not available even for a 3-night stay. Fresh towels are provided daily, but if you want your rubbish cleared, you need to leave it outside the room. Service – Basic and Minimal Service here is quite minimal. There are no welcome drinks or complimentary pantry services, although the hotel does offer a breakfast option for „1500 (which I did not try). Communication can be a bit challenging, as some staff who are not Japanese also do not speak much English. It may take extra effort to get your message across. Additionally, the level of hospitality felt quite basic—there were no greetings or warm interactions when entering or leaving the hotel, which is quite different from the typical Japanese omotenashi experience, even compared to some more affordable hotels. Overall This hotel is best suited for travelers who prioritize location and space over service. It’s a practical place to rest after a full day out, but if you are looking for warm hospitality or a more refined stay, this may fall short.

GGuest UserIt's a good location for travellers looking to explore Osaka. It's close to Osaka Castle and the local underground lines while remaining within a reasonable distance of the city's main downtown district. It has all the needed amenities, fully furnished kitchen equipped with a stove, microwave, and all necessary cutlery, and coin operated laundry. While the dormitories are simple and functional rather than luxurious, they are consistently clean and well-maintained. The sleeping areas are sectioned off to feel private and quiet.

The staff were impossible to fault as they were polite and thoughtful on every opportunity. For the price of a hostel room this is service for a higher end hotel.
