The hotel is halfway up the mountain, and you can see the whole mountain through the window. It's not far from Akureyri's pedestrian street, and it takes 10 minutes to walk there. There seems to be a citizen hot spring bath next to the hotel, and there is a parking lot downstairs, which is quite convenient.
Located in Olafsfjordur, The Northern Comfort Inn is on a lake, within a 15-minute drive of Pálshús Museum and Icelandic Folk Music Centre. This golf hotel is 10.1 mi (16.2 km) from The Herring Era Museum and 10.1 mi (16.3 km) from Siglo Marina.

Fosshotel Húsavík was very convenient to where we wanted to be near the whale watching companies. There was supermarket nearby and also restaurants by the harbour. The room was spacious and clean. Enjoyed our stay here
stayed for two nights to experience the Myvatn deeply even though in winter season. Myvatn doesnt have supermarket but a convinence store connected to gas station, opening time is until 18:00-19:00pm, this hotel is quite convenient to it. Restaurant option are not many also in Myvatn.
Apart from this hotel area located right near many tourist attraction, many hotels were also located near Myvatn Vistor Center area, around 15mins by drive, but even less options there (plus no convinence store, expect from the hotel).
The owner is an elder, kind and courteous.
The nearest supermarket is a 15-minute walk away.
Akreli Church is a 3-minute walk away.
Next to it is a suspected masonic building.
The furnishings and furniture of the public spaces of the homestay are exquisite.
The bathroom is slow to dehydrate, the floor is slightly worse, and the shower water will be a bit sulfury. I believe it is because of the direct use of hot water in the northern region.
If you want to stay in the northern region for a short time by car around the island, FE B&B is a good choice.
This time I came to Iceland for 14 days, the most satisfying hotel.
The room is large and there is a bathtub to relieve the fatigue of the journey. The service staff are friendly and happy, remembering the preferences of customers, feeling like their friends.
Coffee and tea are available 24 hours a day in the lobby. The hotel's own brewed beer is delicious.
Iceland lamb chops and their homemade beer for dinner 🍻
Breakfast rich geothermal vegetables, a variety of bread, a variety of choices and delicious, beyond expectations.
This hotel is really amazing, the scenery outside the window is beautiful ~
The room is very new and the price is very common, just a little far from the city of Akreli.

Prepare your meals in the shared/communal kitchen. Complimentary wireless internet access is available to keep you connected. Bathrooms feature showers with rainfall showerheads and complimentary toiletries.
The hotel is right by the sea in Akreli. There is a little sea view, the building is also very distinctive, and the front desk staff is particularly enthusiastic. The room was clean and tidy. Disadvantages The room is too small, almost no 28-inch box can be opened, and the smell of hot water in the bath is bigger than other places. Luckily I encountered the aurora at the entrance of the hotel! !
The location is between Mihu and Husavic. There is a petrol station and supermarket nearby. (That supermarket is the highest price of the supermarket I have ever experienced). In addition to the location, I am very satisfied. I also saw the aurora at night.

GGuest UserUpon arrival at the apartment, the reception is no longer staffed. On the door hangs a phone number where you can reach the apartment. The person on the other side of the phone first asks us why we do not use the code that we should have received by e-mail. Checked E-Mail Account - mentioned E-mail missing. According to the apartment, this would be sent two days in advance. Since we had not booked two days in advance - impossible.
So now checked in by phone, everything ok.
On to the first real point of criticism.
When opening the room door, a strong smell hits you, which tries to cover the bathroom smell - long airing with a wide open window creates some relief.
When checking the bed, one finds reddish, brownish stains on the bed cover - very unattractive.
We were accommodated in room 25. The location is unfortunately unfavorable. The room gets the full street noises.
Now to our biggest point of criticism: from about 00:30am until after 02:00am, an Asian tour group turned night into day! The hotel cannot be held responsible for human stupidity and antisocial behavior such as door slamming, loud talking and laughing in the corridors. Such behavior can unfortunately happen anytime and anywhere, but an entrance door that slams into the lock so loudly every single time that everyone in the hotel must hear it and you are always startled out of your sleep is simply unacceptable.
Last but not least, the tour group had finished their party - thank goodness, and you thought peace would turn in, the small refrigerator inside the room started up. Humming loudly, it wouldn't let you fall asleep for another perceived eternity.
All in all, this was unfortunately the worst and most nerve-wracking accommodation of our 15-day Iceland tour so far. We can not recommend this apartment, nor would we come back again.

HHei LamA great stay in the farm house. We stayed there for two nights. It was only 5km away from husavik where we joined the whale watching tour. We had our breakfast at 8am and managed to arrive the whale watching centre at 9:05am. The view from the farm house was really nice (the sea and the snow mountains). Staff was nice. We could use the kitchen for lunch and dinner. They’ve got utensils and pots and bowls. And microwave and oven. Basically everything you need. The dog was cute. We also joined an icelandic horse riding session there. It was amazing. The girl was friendly, experienced and helpful. Breakfast was simple and the croissant was delicious. Room was much better then we expected. More and less like a hotel room. We enjoyed staying there very much.
LLLLLLLL888There is a free washing machine available, there is a kitchen oven microwave is very complete, the room is large, the TV has Netflix to watch and Chinese subtitles, very close to the city, you can park the car and walk around, the only drawback is too little parking space too late to go back no space, to park across the street, send email to ask the landlord questions, the landlord reply quickly.

SSophie Bein MackWas frustrated and felt cheated on when I saw on booking for the whole summer a price per night of 250/330 € when I paid almost 400usd for each night via booking
Because I booked a few months back ? I never faced such difference
Was it trip.com taking a huge margin ? First time I use trip, a really bad experience
Guesthouse is nice but it’s close to a hostel, simple and shared toilets/ahowers, a few chairs to sit in the kitchen. For that price it’s just out of range
MMBGwandererSo far it was the best place we stayed in in Iceland. The room was confortable, the shared bathroom big and clean. The kitchen had everything you could need and the dining area was cosy, which isn't the case in many places. Would recommend!
