I recently stayed at this hotel and had a very pleasant experience overall.
The hotel itself is beautiful and very clean, with well-maintained rooms and common areas. The air conditioning worked perfectly and kept the room comfortably cool throughout my stay.
The only minor drawback was that the free WiFi was limited to around 6MB, which was not ideal if you need to do more than just check emails or browse lightly.
Aside from that, everything else was excellent. I would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

Swift and prompt check in. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Room is clean and tidy. The bathroom is very spacious and ergonomically comfortable. The location is superb right in the center of the city center where all the activities and attractions are.
The breakfast at the hotel was very delicious and the breakfast quality was very good. Make it now, the croissant is crisp and fragrant. Heating can also be turned on at night and the bed is comfortable. It is worth staying.
The hotel was lovely, The staff were very polite. The cleanliness was spot on. The breakfast is highly recommended. The room was beautiful, and the bed was comfortable. Their executive suite had a beautiful bath and shower with all towels and other supplies that are needed for your stay including Iron and hair dryer and if you have forgot anything for example a toothbrush they will supply you with these items with there compliments. There is tea and coffee also a ground fresh coffee maker and a mini bar in the room that came with 2 bottles of water and a chocolate bar.The hotel has a gym which you can use between certain hours. You can hire rooms there for meetings and other events. If you are staying as a family my only advice is to ring ahead and make sure that there is a bed for your child because I booked for 3 of us and we did have to share a bed luckily it was us 3 girls myself, my daughter and my niece. The bed was very big so it was suitable it does state on trip they recomend to ring and check if you are unsure so you can get the best out of your stay.
Upon my arrival, I walked passed the reception entrance point as there was no entrance signage.
After confirming my booking,
I sat to wait in a corner where a Christmas tree stood. Refreshment was not available, which I found surprising.
My room was occupied.
A different room was immediately made available.
*As you can see, the room was more than acceptable - apart from some debris on the carpet, it was clean. The room had a lovely, tall ceiling. The room contained a kitchenette with plenty of tea/coffee/milk.
The bed was very comfortable, spotlessly clean, with crisp, freshly laundered bedding and pillows.
*The bathroom area was pristine. Perfect!
*Breakfast was full English for an extra fee. It was delicious and plenty of it, served by chef who was more than helpful
All in all, it was a wonderful stay that I fully recommend.
The whole stay was great, I needed somewhere to stay while work was being carried out on my house. The rooms are spacious and have bathtubs, there was a big desk for me to work at and the internet connection was perfect, I had multiple video conferences and it never dropped once. Housekeeping were kind enough to check if I needed anything everyday, and reception staff were super friendly.
Right next to a massive national trust property had some beautiful autumn walks
However there is absolutely no phone signal (Vodafone)obviously nothing to do with the hotel it’s just extra info about the area!

BBenjamin ArthurA lovely place. We we're a bit iffy on sraying due to the rating of the hotel but after reading the reviews most were about the rooms being dated. Since we were only planning to be there for a night, who cares?
There was an issue with the booking from Trip.com's side which the duty manager Declan was able to resolve in a timely mannor while also making the wait very pleasant with some nice chat.
The staff were lovely, including the two young ladys on the bar/food service as well as Declan. Unfortunately didnt get the girls names.
The building is stunning and surrounded by lovely woods, perfect for a walk.
Rooms are a bit dated, sure, but why are you looking to spend all your time in your room? More than enough to have a comfy sleep in.
Also as a side note on that, id imagine It's a listed building and so hard an expensive to update.
Overall a lovely night and a pleasant morning having breakfast then a walk. Absolutely would recommend.
GGuest UserLovely little find, very clean with everything we needed for our weekend stay. Beds were really comfy (we booked for 3 people, one double bed and a sofa bed but ended up with 2 double beds 👍🏻), microwave, kettle, plates, cutlery etc and tea/coffee. Can be tricky to find so follow the YouTube video that they send, especially for the postcode. Parking was on street.
Location is quite a student area but ideally located for a quick Uber into the city (@£6) and bus stops nearby.
Accommodation is in the back area of the property so need to be mindful of the family home, especially when coming and going at night.
Overall, pleasantly surprised and great nights sleep ☺️
LLauCWReally no bottle of water in the room. Room size was good enough. Hot water was good. Reception was nice.
The carpet was too old to be cleaned. Heater was not that efficient that just better than nothing. Room located at different level which you feel get lost in the corridors😅

AAnonymous UserThe entrance was so difficult to get to, with such a huge detour to walk around just to get to the entrance. The service and check-in was woeful, when we checked in late at night. The person at the desk didn't know how to check us in, and the other person who was supposed to know how to do the check-in was not around- and had to be called back down. Long wait to check in late that night, even though there was no other guest waiting. The car parking arrangement was terrible as well, and didn't work with their supposed online link up with the parking provider. Very average experience.
GGuest UserWe selected this hotel as we had stayed there 4 years earlier. We were disappointed on this occasion because although we were a couple staying they only provided facilities for a single guest, only one bath towel and one hand towel. Also only small miniture toiletries for one person. The bathroom basin was slow in draining. The water pressure was not strong enough to allow the over the bath shower to work and finally we were not able to open the french window for fresh air. The only good point was that the bed was comfortable.
