When we arrived they did not have our reservation, but they still found us a room. It was very simple but clean and great for the price (we literally just needed to sleep for 7 hours before heading to the airport). Everyone was very nice including the woman that prepared the simple breakfast for us in the morning. If you are looking for an experience, this is probably not the place, but if you are just needing a clean afforable place to stay the night before a flight, this is a great option.

We stayed as part of a tracking trip, back in February. It was a great base, nice and central in the city with lots going on around it. The have a nice gym, pool and spa facilities on site which are well worth a visit. The restaurant and bar on the top floor has beautiful views over the city and mountains around, this is by far one of the best features of this hotel. The staff are very friendly most of them have decent English if you have any questions.

This charming hotel was supposed to be a one night stay for us after two weeks in the Galapagos- a final big night, New Year's Eve in Quito. Instead, we discovered on New Year's Day that our daughter had tested positive for Covid. We don't know what we would do have done had it not been for the compassion of owner Miguel, who refused to abandon us in our hour of need. He immediately arranged for a separate room with kitchenette for our daughter while my husband and I stayed in a separate room. We were all, including staff, extremely careful with regard to sanitary protocols, distancing and masking. The staff helped us with arranging for on-site local testing and other necessary arrangements. They helped us with cabs, arranging for take out dinners, and our room rate included a nourishing breakfast. We stayed for another 8 days until she tested negative and in addition received a Document of Recovery from a doctor. Convenient location allowed for easily walkable trips to the Quito marketplace, which was superb. The artful decor and plant filled patios and decks made this a charming stay. Huge shout out to Miguel, Carolina, Steven and the staff for being so gracious and kind to help us out during daughter's Covid!!

There was a leak in my bathroom that almost ruined my personal cleaning items. The room they gave me was in front of the stairs and it was always noisy with people talking loud. The bottom of the toilet was disgusting. The person that welcomed me was the only one I cold day was efficient. I left the hotel this morning when I was supposed to leave tomorrow. That is how bad I felt there.

The hotel is in a good location. There is a supermarket downstairs for shopping, and it is not far from the bus station. You can take the bus to the Quito City Museum. There is a hospital next to the museum where you can get yellow fever vaccinations. The public area of the hotel has a good environment, with many old objects and furnishings. The front desk owner is very nice and provides free printing services. A bag of clothes is dry cleaned for $5. You can see Quito Cathedral and Loaf Mountain from the top of the third floor, and the night view is also very good. The hotel here does not provide toiletries for taking off shoes, so you need to bring your own.

A great new hotel in Quito’s financial district, with plenty of great eateries around. The breakfast had something for everyone from cereal to toast, waffles to fruit. Staff were really attentive and always pleasant, polite and helpful. We chose this hotel as it had private underground parking, which was ideal and safe. My only criticism would be having to get the attention of someone to open the barriers to enter and leave. Thanks for a lovely stay, would highly recommend as an affordable stay in the city.

We stayed at this cozy little B&B at the beginning and end of our trip to Ecuador. We therefore had 2 different rooms and 2 different experiences. The first room was located street side and there was therefore a lot of noise during the night. The other room was at the top floor, a premium room, but also street side, but had better soundproof windows, so we could sleep. However, it was pretty warm when we were in Quito, and there was no air in the room and only a small window to get some air. The staff is beyond friendly and service minded and will do everything to assist. The location is great for exploring the old town.

My husband kept raving about this hotel. Ignore any negative reviews you might spot here. Front desk staff were attentive and pretty fluent in English (although it’s presumptive to expect that wherever we travel). The hotel is on a quiet street for Quito and had double-glazed windows (unusual in this temperate climate) so it was super quiet. I got there at night and closed the heavy drapes; only in the morning did I discover there were blackout shades, too — a nice touch. Abundant hot water (not always a given in Ecuador) and a spacious room. This hotel felt very luxurious to us. The pool and workout area, which we did not have time to use, was amazingly well appointed. Breakfast buffet was pretty varied and phenomenal as well. We felt pretty spoiled staying here. When we were there the English Ambassador and his entourage were also staying there, so I think it’s considered to be a pretty good place.

We are leaving for other parts of the country today but really enjoyed my 4 nights here. Mainly local business people - I didn't see any tourists at hotel. But very comfortable - rooms are small but good wifi, lots of outlets, and plenty of hot water. Located about 1/2 hour taxi ride from Ciudad Historico and walking distance to Mariscal. Good breakfast provided each morning. Adrian at front desk was kind enough to get a driver for us for a couple of days to leave the city. They do have a small gym as well. I hope the next places we stay in Banos, Cuenca, and Guayaquil are as nice as this.

The hotel was very clean and in a very good location in the old town. All the staff we encountered were lovely and helpful The main parts of the hotel were beautiful with some lovely flowers in window boxes However, the room itself was very basic and could easily be improved with simple things like a shelf in the bathroom ( all our toiletries had to sit on the floor) an extra mirror and waste bin in the bedroom would have been appreciated and we only had 1 bedside table when 2 could have been accommodated The Breakfast was very hard scrambled eggs and bread and there was no choice. The juices were delightful !
