This hotel is very cost-effective. It is run by a local. It is a single-family villa design with a small garden. It is in the city center, 2 kilometers away from Quito Cathedral, and 1 kilometer away from the park. There are many locals selling special snacks in the park, and vaccinations are also available. Very close, about 3 kilometers to anywhere, there are many restaurants and bars nearby, you can cook, many hotels in Quito do not have hot water, this one has hot water for bathing, the hotel in Quito basically does not provide toiletries, you need to bring your own , the price is cheaper than the homestays opened by Chinese people. It is quite like Home Inns in China. The Hanting is of the same level. If you stay for a long time, there is a discount. The average is only a few dozen days. You can go shopping in the street for food. There are many delicacies here. The hotel does not provide toiletries, you need to bring your own toothpaste, toothbrush, shampoo, shower gel and slippers
The homestays of the Chinese people are very pitiful. The advantage is that they can provide materials to cook and need ➕5 knives, but the environment is very poor and the price is still expensive
Breakfast is good, there are new tricks every day. The room is large. Hotel location is very good, there are supermarkets and shopping malls around. Recommended stay.
The hotel is located in a very quiet and secure area , easy to walk at any time also the rooms are large and the beds are comfortable no noise in the night because this makes you can rest , The service of the workers make you feel like at home .
The breakfast was good, the room was clean and clean, the quilt was a bit thick, the room was not air-conditioned, the cover was a bit hot, there were big parks around, big supermarkets and shopping centers were not far from the hotel.

Limited parking is available onsite.
Stay in one of 14 guestrooms featuring LED televisions. Complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected, and cable programming is available for your entertainment. Bathrooms have showers and hair dryers.
The hotel is small, but very clean and quiet.
Breakfast, not bad, standard South American style breakfast.
The front desk of the hotel is very warm and patient. The decoration is also very personal.
Almost all tourists to Quito come to the hotel, and they are also very satisfied.
The environment is really nice. There is also fruit, bread and juice breakfast available. It is more than ten minutes away from the airport. The airport taxi costs ten dollars. The accommodation room environment is just like that when you see the hotel entrance (basically all hotels in Quito are like this). The service is very good. When checking in, the taxi driver held up his mobile phone. When I got into the car, the clerk helped me contact the taxi company. Half an hour later, the taxi driver returned the phone and I paid the clerk a thank you fee of ten dollars.

Absolutely Outstanding Stay at Hotel Villa Lafayette!
My stay at Hotel Villa Lafayette was nothing short of exceptional. It’s by far the cleanest hotel in all of Ecuador—absolutely spotless in every corner. The entire property is beautifully maintained, quiet, and filled with elegant touches that make it feel both luxurious and welcoming.
The staff were outstanding—warm, attentive, and truly professional. They offered excellent local recommendations and always treated me with kindness and care.
The location is ideal—tucked in a peaceful part of La Mariscal, just a short walk from Plaza Foch and some of Quito’s best restaurants and shops. My room was quiet, stylish, and very comfortable, with a serene garden view that made me feel instantly relaxed.
Breakfast each morning was fresh, generous, and thoughtfully prepared. The entire experience felt safe, polished, and perfectly cared for.
If you’re looking for elegance, cleanliness, and world-class service, Hotel Villa Lafayette is simply the best choice in Ecuador. I would return in a heartbeat!
CCarmyBreakfast was tasty and with a beautiful view. Our room was one of the nicest rooms that’s we’ve stayed in while travelling South America. It was the comfiest bed and the room had a well-designed interior. The staff are friendly and welcoming. At night it’s recommended to get taxis to where you need to go while in the day it’s fine to walk around this unesco world heritage site area. 100% recommend to stay here for a few nights if you have time.
JJeremy LeeeeThe facilities at this hotel are somewhat outdated, and the decor feels a bit old-fashioned. It would be great to see some modernization in these areas. That said, the view from the upper floors is fantastic and definitely a highlight of the stay. Additionally, the breakfast was quite good, with a decent variety and tasty options. Overall, the experience was pleasant, but upgrading the facilities and decor would significantly improve the stay.
GGuest UserThere was a leak in my bathroom that almost ruined my personal cleaning items. The room they gave me was in front of the stairs and it was always noisy with people talking loud. The bottom of the toilet was disgusting. The person that welcomed me was the only one I cold day was efficient. I left the hotel this morning when I was supposed to leave tomorrow. That is how bad I felt there.
Kkevie520The hotel is in a good location. There is a supermarket downstairs for shopping, and it is not far from the bus station. You can take the bus to the Quito City Museum. There is a hospital next to the museum where you can get yellow fever vaccinations. The public area of the hotel has a good environment, with many old objects and furnishings. The front desk owner is very nice and provides free printing services. A bag of clothes is dry cleaned for $5. You can see Quito Cathedral and Loaf Mountain from the top of the third floor, and the night view is also very good. The hotel here does not provide toiletries for taking off shoes, so you need to bring your own.
GGuest UserMy child and I arrived at the hotel almost 8 o'clock in the evening. The hotel staff was very patient. Due to the language barrier, the staff took the initiative to take out the mobile phone translation. When we left the next day, we called a taxi. The service was in place and the hotel was very clean and safe.
VV100StranA good hotel, very large room, shower and jacuzzi, bring water, coffee, give a roast adapter. The vent was overwhelmed with insulation, right. The bathroom was both shampoo and air conditioner, still a bath foam. But there were no slippers, coats. Towels are small for some reason, they are small, but in general enough, every day changed.
Their restaurant (in the hotel) I don't recommend: pizza even more or less, and soup and pasta at all didn't like, and bad after it was. It is better to look at the nearest institution with a good rating and go there. Breakfast will go, not the most diverse, but you will not stay hungry.
TTianzhicongyunEvery time I go to Ecuador on business, I stay at this hotel. It is as comfortable as ever. Now that the power outage in Ecuador has been temporarily resolved, the hotel rooms have been readjusted and the space is much larger than before.
DDiyijialvrouzongdianThe boss runs his own family. It's a bit like a homestay. There are many attractions around, but it is more dangerous to belong to the old town. If you can travel during the day. On the day I lived, my own boss personally made breakfast for me and asked me what I wanted to eat and didn't want to eat. Absolutely
