3-Star Hotels in Jilin, China

When visiting Changchun, I wanted to stay somewhere close to the train station, so I chose the Lavande Hotel. I've stayed at their properties in other cities before, and as expected, Jinjiang's brands never disappoint. The environment is top-notch, and the service attitude is excellent. Most importantly, it's incredibly convenient for transportation, just a three-minute walk from the train station – you can't beat that! The area around is bustling, with plenty of dining options. I'll definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Changchun, especially for those needing to catch a train. Highly recommended!

The rooms were tidy and clean, and the facilities were convenient. The breakfast was also quite good. Since we were traveling with children and the elderly, we requested connecting rooms, and they carefully confirmed and arranged them according to our needs. The toiletries in the room were well-stocked for the number of guests. Parking spaces were reserved in advance in front of the hotel. Overall, the service was very satisfying. The hotel is close to the musical fountain and a food street, so the location is excellent. The front desk staff (a lovely lady) recommended local delicacies, and every single one was a hit. I would choose this hotel again next time. The rooms were very spacious, and the bathroom was also reasonably located, not disturbing our rest. The bedding was clean and tidy. We even received complimentary museum tickets for our multi-night stay. The hotel's location is particularly good, close to the Edelweiss Reindeer Park and the Wetland Flower Sea, so you can enjoy flowers and scenery right outside. It perfectly met the needs of our family trip with both children and seniors. The hotel is also very close to the North Slope Transit Center, making it convenient for walking or taking a taxi. The Cloudtop Market is also within walking distance. The hotel offers high-speed train pick-up and drop-off, and they thoughtfully called to confirm. Since we were driving, we just drove there directly. The hotel is also very quiet at night; you can hear the sounds of insects and enjoy the night view, yet the streetlights are bright, so there's no concern for safety. I would choose this hotel again next time.

Facilities: Excellent! The location is super convenient. It's right next to Seomun Market, and only about a 10-minute walk to the Water Market. The famous 'Instagram wall' isn't far either, so you can easily stroll there. There are also well-known restaurants nearby, like Hanjeong Samgyetang (Ginseng Chicken Soup). Hygiene: The room was very clean and tidied frequently. Service: The service was truly outstanding. They would escort us to the elevator when we left, and helped us with getting water. They even gave us frozen pears and frozen persimmons to eat, and the persimmon and frozen pear juices were delicious. Breakfast was also very hearty. I'm genuinely impressed! The room was spacious too. I was traveling with my mom, and they remembered that she likes hot tea and coffee, which was a lovely touch. I was so pleased. We initially only booked for one night, but decided to extend our stay immediately after arriving.

When I arrived at this hotel early in the morning, I actually felt puzzled, wondering if all the surrounding shops and other hotels were closed. It seemed that not only was it not the peak tourist season, but the economic situation might also be unfavorable, which likely explained it. Since I arrived at the hotel too early, no rooms were ready yet. So, I left my luggage with the hotel first and set out for a tour of the western course of Mount Baekdu. When I returned, my luggage had already been placed in the room assigned to me. The condition of the room was impeccably clean. When I woke up in the morning and opened the curtains, the bright sunlight streaming into the room made me feel incredibly refreshed. I went down to the lobby for breakfast, and the hotel owner personally set the table. The food was exceptionally neat and delicious. Moreover, the owner spoke better English than anyone else at other hotels, which was a great help. It was a clean, cozy, and comfortable hotel to stay in. The only drawback was the lack of an elevator, but carrying luggage up one floor shouldn’t be a problem for most people. And considering that the hotel is right across from the western tourism center of Mount Baekdu, its location more than makes up for the inconvenience of not having an elevator. 我一大早到达这家酒店时，其实心里有些疑惑，感觉周围的商店和其他酒店好像都没营业。这可能不仅是因为现在不是旅游旺季，经济不景气也可能是一个原因。 由于我到酒店太早，房间还没整理好，所以我先将行李寄存在酒店，然后出发去长白山西坡景区游览。 回来时，我的行李已经放在分配好的房间里了。 房间干净得无可挑剔。早上醒来拉开窗帘，明媚的阳光照进房间，心情格外舒畅。 下楼到大厅吃早餐时，酒店老板亲自为我摆桌，食物非常整洁美味。 而且，老板的英语比其它任何酒店的员工都好，这给了我很大帮助。 这是一家干净、舒适、温馨的酒店。 唯一的缺点是没有电梯，但提着行李只上一层楼对大多数人来说应该不是问题。考虑到酒店正对着长白山西坡旅游中心，其优越的地理位置完全足以弥补没有电梯的不便。

This guesthouse is conveniently located right at the end of the Daquan River rafting experience, making it super easy to head back after your adventure. The staff is really helpful and will arrange taxis for you if you want to go out for food or other activities. They even organize carpools for longer trips to places like Yanji or Xue Ling. The owner is a great person! Our room was very clean and tidy, and we had a really comfortable stay. You can even step right outside and play in the snow, offering a truly immersive experience.

Had a wonderful 3-night stay there! Location: Ride hailing is needed to visit the nearby restaurants/ shops at 二道白河镇 as it’s located on a hill (about 10 min ride away). The entrance looks a little shabby but do not worry, just follow the direction and signage, you are in good hands!! The nearest walkable shop is a small local convenient store. A short 10 min walk to the meetup point to go up changbaishan (長白山北景區遊客集散中心）. Experience: A very comfortable stay with very approachable staffs. No issue with network connection. Breakfast is simple but with fresh ingredients. Very clean stay. Every item in the stay (such as bedding, shampoo, toilet, drinks etc) are all of very good quality. The guesthouse is decorated with anexcellent sense of aesthetics. The stay experience is definitely better than 3-4 star hotels. Staffs are very responsive and helpful, especially a big plus point for us foreigners. The driver and tours they recommended worth every penny and reduce the trouble of self sourcing. 0 hard selling, the recommendations are purely compiled as a travel guide. It is ultimately a small guesthouse and not a hotel, so please be nice to the staff and let’s not be demanding. Conclusion: It is such a gem in this county region and is the BEST choice if you do not mind paying more for a good stay to ease your mind. I will definitely re-visit it. There is a small kitchen with simple payable cafe menu. The environment is very comfortable, if you merely want a place to chill, you can order delivery without needing to go out.

Overall, we had a great stay despite a small hiccup with the pickup due to hotel staff turnover and miscommunication. The hotel room was amazing and super well designed with great amenities, it was undoubtedly the best accommodation we had during our 2 weeks in Dongbei. Even though we didn’t book breakfast, the boss gave us free breakfast to comepensate for the poor experience we had with the pickup from the high speed rail (I would strongly recommend giving them a call to confirm the pickup rather than communicating through WeChat). The breakfast was super tasty and has lots of different side dishes (not saying this because it’s free lol), would definitely recommend. We were there during NYE and NY, and seems like people in the neighbourhood really liked fireworks. We probably saw fireworks 8 -9 times during our 3 days stay (including one from our host), super lucky! The local restaurant the host recommended was very tasty as well (not touristy so be prepared for a raw experience), food was great and fried eggs is a must try. The only issue with staying in this area was transport if you don’t have a driver for your stay in Changbaishan (which is a well known issue for all hotels in this area). Getting a cab took about an hour… after constant failing, the boss was so nice that she tried to call all her friends to see if they were available to drive us to the restaurant and we got there at the end!!!! 谢谢老板和老板娘的烟花还有小礼物，我们玩得特别开心！

The location is super convenient, close to 'Zhe You Shan' (This Mountain), Changchun Film Studio Former Site, and Nanhu Park, making it a one-stop shop for dining, entertainment, and shopping. The rooms are clean and tidy with expansive views, and some high-floor rooms offer views of the Jilin TV Tower. The front desk staff are warm and welcoming, and overall, it's great value for money.

After the Mid-Autumn Festival here, the moon cakes were very sweet, and I saw the fireworks, and the surrounding scenery was beautiful. I brought my parents to live for 3 days and the whole family was very satisfied! In the homestay, quiet in the middle of noisy, there is a small yard at the door, and a small vegetable garden planted by the boss himself. It is very warm and clean. My parents can drink tea and sunbathe there every morning. The boss was very patient and helped us plan a slow tour route that was not in a hurry. The location was simply excellent and it was very close to our attractions. The room is quiet, the layout is warm and distinctive, the furniture in the comfortable room is not sharp corners, the hot water is stable for 24 hours, and the water temperature is also suitable for elders. The hygiene is done carefully, and there is no dust in the depths of the wardrobe. My parents said that it is more comfortable than living at home! No matter the facilities, sanitation, environment, and service are impeccable in all aspects, it is simply the best choice for travel!
