The boss and the proprietress are very enthusiastic, and the service and reception are also very good. I came by tram and traveled by car. I stayed for one night. At night, the proprietress took me to the bus charging pile due to the car charging problem and helped me solve the problem and coordinate the work. Also said that don't be afraid of charging here. She is waiting for me at the hotel! It was very late and very late! Really waiting for me to return and asked us if we were hungry or not to eat or not! In short, whether it is the accommodation health and environment, or the boss's thoughtful service, it is particularly good! One of the best in this neighborhood! I have traveled so many places by car in the country. It makes me feel that because a homestay falls in love with a place, this is the only one! I will recommend friends to come here. The boss's warm reception and attitude to deal with things have a touching happiness. It is like going home!

The one night stay here was as I'd hoped. The pick up at the station incuded staff guiding through the scenic area to the hotel. On arrival, I was told breakfast was an upgrade. The room was comfortable and overlooking a small waterfall by a bridge. I was worried as I returned around 10pm with loud music very near the hotel, but the room must have good insulation as I couldn't hear it in the room. A driver to return to the station was arranged next morning for 20 yuan.

Located in a small alley, you’ll need to walk down some steps to get to this alley from 豹子灣 (Baoziwan Jetty). The hotel is in the quiet corner of FengHuang Old Town, the popular nightspots and pubs on the other end of the river. Our room is on the 4th floor (entrance and reception are located on the 2nd floor, bizarre) overlooking the river, giving magnificent views during the entire stay. Room is small, but comes equipped with a powerful air conditioning. Bathroom is a bit tricky as it is a step up, and the drainage is not very efficient, if you have the shower running for some time, there’s risk of water overflowing into the room.

Love it!♥️😁 Best hotel in Fenghuang. After staying here we would love to come back. The room is comfy and the view is fantastic, right opposite the pier where we would later took on the night boat cruise. The staff are very friendly - helping us with directions, tixkets, taxi, and luggage. When we were here, we could see people practicing for the dragon boat race festival which will be on May 31st. The atmosphere around the hotel is superb. The darker it gets, the more beautiful and colder the city becomes👏🌈🎑overall we would recommend this place for everyone who would love to come to Fenghuang. Last but not least, thank you for the ginger candies souvenirs! 😍

Had someone received us at the main plaza after we took the taxi from train station. The inn was within a short walking distance which was great. Our room was at the top floor (stairs but very manageable) and street facing so we could watch the people passing by below which was fun…very clean and comfortable beds. Had a good night rest. We enjoyed staying at least one night to explore the ancient town. A pity the inn doesn’t have laundry set up for guest use but the owner was kind to let us use their washing machine, much appreciated.

A friend recommended a homestay, and it was really great after arriving! Facilities: The homestay equipment is very new, with a minimalist decoration style, and the river view outside the window, nice! Hygiene: The hygiene is great, both the bedding and the countertops are very clean~ Service: The service is the best! The boss upgraded our room type and carefully explained the ”secrets” of visiting Xiaodongjiang. The breakfast is also delicious. A very attentive store!

The hotel is located very close to the entrance of the visitor information center/ parking. Beyond this point, vehicles can't go. On one hand, it's very convenient when you travel with luggage, but it doesn't have a view of the waterfalls. They arranged the pickup from the high-speed railway station. One way, free pickup was included. They also got an entrance ticket at a discounted price. The lady helped us with the town map and sightseeing options, even though it's not big. The breakfast had limited options, but they made bread specifically for us, which is nice. Room-wise wise it was Ok. The room was spacious, the amenities were good, and it had a balcony.

A Mixed Bag in Fenghuang. My stay in Fenghuang offered a blend of excellent hospitality and comfort with some notable drawbacks. On the positive side, the staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to be helpful, which truly enhanced the experience. The room itself was a haven of comfort; the beds and linens were top-notch, and the couch and desk provided a truly comfortable and functional space. The hotel's location was absolutely perfect, placing us right in the vibrant heart of Fenghuang's action. We also enjoyed a cool view from our room. However, there were a few significant points of caution for future travelers. While we could connect to the Wi-Fi, there was no actual data connection, rendering it effectively useless for internet access. A more concerning issue was the pervasive and foul sewer smell that intermittently filled the room, particularly late at night. It wasn't constant, but when it appeared, it was quite strong and unpleasant. Regarding the view, I had assumed from photos that the hotel was directly on the river. In reality, it's set back about a block, meaning you have to look over some dilapidated buildings to see the river. I suspect lower floors might not have any river view at all. Adding to this, as of May 2025, there's a pretty large construction project occurring just a few meters from the front of the balconies, which could impact the ambiance and noise levels for some guests. Overall, if you prioritize comfort, a central location, and friendly service, this hotel has a lot to offer. Just be prepared for potential Wi-Fi issues, the intermittent sewer smell, and manage your expectations regarding the river view and nearby construction.

This time, choosing Youranju is really a fate. I originally booked the accommodation in Bamian Mountain. I was told by the hotel front desk on the day of departure. Because the road is frozen, if you don't use the tire chain, you will not be able to go up the mountain. You have to cancel the reservation. Then weigh the choice of tea in the ancient town, and book a leisurely residence. But I didn’t expect to choose the right leisure residence. The Chinese style of the room is very special and elegant. The scenery outside the window is unobstructed. The room is fully equipped and clean. The stairs are the street. It is very convenient to eat and go shopping early. It is very convenient to walk to the pier. Two yuan can take a boat to the opposite Chongqing to eat a hot pot, especially interesting... and the boss who is leisurely living is very elegant, very polite, the service is very thoughtful, and a small gift is given before leaving, especially thanks! In general, the accommodation experience is very good! Must give five-star praise!

Great location, river view, beautiful at night. The downside is too noisy from people walking on the ground floor, surrounding bar. Suggest to sealed the window to prevent the noise. Shower is broken hence water not only came out from the faucet its also from the fuse, it should be fixed. Lao ban niang so friendly and they gave 1 free Miao jia dress so you can wear it and take a photo, additional charge for the headband and makeup. Overall is quite good stay as its only for a night
