4-Star Hotels in Gelderland, Netherlands

It was an okay experience. I’ve stayed here before mostly due to the convenient location of being next to the train station, however I feel the hotel needs an update. Light switches were not working properly in the room and it left a tired feel to the property. The management team should consider updating the facilities to reflect most Mercure hotels

Decent sized room, reasonably priced. Although we didn’t have dinner there (attending a concert which ended much later than the dinner service), the option was available. Comfortable beds and pillows, bathroom had a generous sized walk in shower (very easily accessible for visitors with limited mobility. Although other guests had alleged issues regarding the renovation works, we were fortunate that this didn’t affect our stay. The hotel appears to have taken onboard earlier reviews mentioning tired decor - we can attest to the fact that the hotel are implementing some significant improvements. Friendly and welcoming staff. Would love the opportunity to return and see more of the area.

We stayed here for a concert in the Gelredome. We found the location great for our purposes - only 20 mins walk from the station and under 40 mins walk from the stadium (although we are admittedly fast walkers!). The room was a really good size, comfortable beds and very clean. The staff were wonderful, some of the most cheerful and friendly we've met, and spoke very fluent English. We would definitely stay here if we came to Arnhem again :)

What a nice hotel with good facilities. I slept here with a friend because it is near Royal Park Live in the gardens of Soestdijk Palace. Ideal! The superior room had good beds, a spacious bathroom, a table to have breakfast at, a mini fridge for our drinks, a TV, air conditioning and a small outdoor area. We also used the wellness area of ​​the hotel (sauna, steam cabin and showers) and there is an indoor swimming pool. The lunch at the hotel was also very successful and we were able to park our car for free. All in all, highly recommended!

Love it. I was assigned to a nearby job visit. This hotel was initially not easy due to the construction going on that blocked the direction that google map suggested, but it was manageable. There is Lidl near by and a shop for dinner or lunch nearby too. There is a bus that is easily access which will bring u to the city center, so making it easy to get back to the hotel too.

Front desk staff was courteous and professional. The corner room on the ninth floor had a great view. Open bathroom is a little strange and toilet is extremely small. Compared to other van der Valk properties this one ranks much lower than others. Very slow internet, little choice of TV stations, no streaming services etc.

Nice family hotel. We were with the family for two nights. Pool and wellness were very good and the girls have had very good fun. Also nice that there was a table tennis table on the t**** floor.

Single room was not clean. Water leakage at bathroom ceiling colored brown so it was a sign of a long term leakage. The room was also smelling bad. The breakfast was really nice and an employee did lots of effort to bring back a bag which I left behind.

Het verblijf was top, vriendelijk personeel en schone kamers. Wij hebben het ontbijt arrangement ook gekozen en het is allemaal goed.

The hotel staff was extremely helpful. The people were extremely nice and staff was super helpful. I forgot the charger and travelling solo it is quite a bad situation to be in. But the hotel staff was super supportive.
