GGuest UserThis is a classic older hotel. The biggest highlight is definitely the great views and relaxing atmosphere, especially the balcony area which is very comfortable and offers excellent scenery.
We stayed in a triple room. The room itself felt quite old, and the facilities clearly showed their age. As for cleanliness, it was a case of 'looks okay on the surface, but the details are lacking.' For instance, there were some less-than-clean marks on the sheets, and while the towels had clearly been washed, their dark color wasn't ideal. The bathroom's cleanliness was also just average; not overtly dirty, but not meticulously clean either.
Overall, the hotel's strong points are its views and location. However, there's room for improvement regarding the room's hardware and the detailed cleanliness. It's best suited for guests who prioritize scenic views and are less sensitive about the age of the accommodations.

AAim for food !4🌟 stay at Riverside Majestic Hotel Astana Wing for 4D3N.
Overall, it was a comfortable stay with very friendly and helpful staff throughout our trip. Housekeeping also did a good job with room cleanliness and bed arrangement daily.
One of the best parts of the stay was the beautiful view overlooking the Kuching Waterfront. The sunset view from the room was really nice and relaxing, especially during the evening.
Breakfast had quite a good variety. During our 4D3N stay, the live stall consistently served Laksa Sarawak and Kolomee, which was a nice local touch. The salad section and some hot dishes were changed daily as well, so breakfast did not feel too repetitive.
However, for a 4-star hotel, there are still quite a number of maintenance details that need improvement. On our first night, we faced an issue with the air-conditioning not being cold enough. After informing the front counter, the staff responded well and arranged a room change for us. The second room had much better air-conditioning.
Another small point for improvement is the room amenities. Coffee and tea were only replenished on the first day of check-in and not refilled during the following days.
Overall, still a pleasant stay with good service from the team, but the hotel facilities and maintenance can definitely be improved further.

DDr YeapSpacious room with good basic amenities eg : soap, shampoo n tooth brush etc ... Breakfast was simple, nasi lemak sambal have room for improvement.
Overall? Value for money if u just need a clean room to stay overnight

RRobchangThe hotel is at the Sibu town centre thus very convenient to hunt for food and some shopping nearby. The night market is less than 10 mins walk away. Basement car park is available. It is considered second best Hotel in town though the design is outdated. Rooms are nice and cosy and clean. Staff are friendly and polite. Breakfast is acceptable and the environment is good. The only downside of this Hotel is the security where there is no access control in the lift (key card access to individual floor) and also no security guard at the overhead walkway linking the Hotel to the Shopping complex.

GGuest UserThe hotel is located in a nice area near Jepak Bridge, making it a great place for a relaxing stay. Guests can enjoy a pleasant walk along the seaside and take in the beautiful scenery. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, providing a pleasant environment to rest.
One downside is the breakfast price. At RM48 per person, it feels quite expensive compared to the options available nearby. Nevertheless, the hotel's excellent location, cleanliness, and roomy accommodations make it a good choice for travelers visiting the area.

NNeha TanThe location is still ok because there is a mall so if you want to eat or buy things you are still happy, but if you want to go to the waterfront, it takes 25 minutes, in front of the apartment there is also an everise, but yesterday we ordered the 2 bedroom one, 13th floor, the funny thing is that the wifi we use is the hotel wifi so it's a bit slow, there's no soap in the room, he said Sinad, it's just not available, finally he was told to deliver it, there wasn't even an iron, when I checked out I asked, he said he wanted to chat then it would be delivered hadeh🤧, even though when he arrived there was no response to the chat, it was annoying Plus, if you want to use the washing machine, you have to rent it for 35 RM a night👎, that should be the facility we get when we rent an apartment, I live in another apartment, even though the washing machine isn't in the room, it's kept downstairs, if we use it, it's free. Why do you have to pay for this? , 200 rm deposit, 37 rm in cash, they said it was clean, the apartment wasn't the same, don't know, other floors, other owners, the same or not

GGuest UserOverall, the hotel is upper-mid-range with good value for money. The service attitude is excellent, and the environment is pleasant. The only drawback is the bathroom design; while the room itself is spacious, the shower stall is too narrow, causing water to spray all over the floor. This is a significant flaw and a big miss!
