Hotel is very good, the only problem is the window that is not enough sealed to avoid the noise from outside. The cost benefit is good compared with other hotels in Italy. The breakfast is also very good.

Most of the existing reviews are quite accurate… this hotel is for a short stay, for sleeping only and nothing else. The price is good but don’t expect too much for the 4-star rating. Amazing location. Not dirty but not the cleanest hotel ever. The staff are neutral. You can deposit the bags but in the bar (seemingly) without much supervision. If you are looking for a very comfortable and luxurious stay with your couple, i would pay more and go to other hotels. But, if you are not looking forward to spend much time in the hotel and experience the city to the fullest hours, this is quite a good choice.

Front Desk service is sub-par and lacking in general knowledge to guests. Examples. 1. Hop On Hop Off booking from front desk Was told that pick-up and drop-off will be at Station A opposite the hotel. But end of the tour, we were dropped off at Station B and was told there's no bus going to Station A. We have to find our own way back due to unfriendly bus staff. 2. Restaurant Recommendation Was given wrong direction by FO staff and have to walk back to hotel again to reconfirm direction. 3. Airport Transfer to FCO T3 Booked 1 day in advance thru FO, but this morning when we went down to FO for check-out, there's no record ? Even though we were given a print out booking form from FO yesterday. Disappointed 1st hotel stay in ROME. However, hotel location is conveniently located near to Rome Termini.

Every staff we met were extremely friendly and helpful! Room was a good size. Generally clean. However, it needs some updating with slightly peeling wallpaper and a musty smell. Location is great as it is within easy walking distance to marts, morning market, good restaurants and train station.

An okay hotel. Very noisy at night due to a nearby construction works, can’t sleep for 2 nights straight. Requested for an iron only sent in after the 3rd requests. Location was great, walking distance to Termini Station. 20mins walk to Trevi.

Fantastic hotel, with very kind and welcoming staff. The room was very clean and comfortable, we enjoyed our stay there. Location is good, convenient walking distance to metro A. Breakfast was delicious and of high quality with plenty to choose from. Many thanks. We would be happy to return and would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Only the room partition walls wasn’t well insulated , you can hear from other room , was stayed 104 , second day all night was hearing noice probably from air conditioning fixed on out walls . The body wash and shampoo smells bit make you uncomfortable , I think you’ll get more complaints about it if not attention.. rest everything was great , stuff absolutely friendly, it worth every penny what you spend , highly recommended

DdisasterEXEHotel Caravel is a few blocks away from Stazione Garbatella. The staff speak Spanish, English, and Italian (probably other languages as well). I had the pleasure to stay at Caravel for seven days with my father and they were very accommodating to his needs (such as keeping his laptop safe and providing him with an electric kettle for a night time cup of tea). They also have electric plug adaptors, and they offer third party laundry services. The hotel has accessible ramps, and the venue has a clothes store, bar, breakfast bar and restaurant. The breakfast buffet is very varied with some food items made in-house. I hope I get to stay with them next time I visit Rome. My favorite breakfast (which I had almost every day) is seen in this picture.

PPhillipsBenjaminWe stayed here for four nights in June of 2025. The location of the hotel is generally good for getting to some of the more noteworthy site (Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, etc.). There's a metro station around 8 minutes walk away, which opens up most of the rest of the city pretty well. We walked from here to the Vatican, which took around 35 minutes, but would be less than half that by cab. The surrounding area is great for clothing shops, but the food we found nearby was mostly so-so, and frequently over-priced tourist fare, though I'm sure if you walk a little farther from the hotel you can find some good options. The room itself was booked for a family of four, and was comfortable. The bathroom and shower had good water pressure, and the AC worked just fine. Some of the sheets were not quite clean, but we just didn't use the one we found slightly dirty. The beds were comfortable and a good size. The room and hotel have little to no facilities, so you're really just paying for room and the location. The exterior entrance is not well marked, and we actually walked past it on the street several times. If you're thinking of booking here, I'd recommend just looking for the GAP store which is directly across the street, much easier to find. Our interactions with the hotel staff were limited. We received a number of automated messages, some of which were contradictory, or had out of date information. After booking and paying for the room (a non-refundable booking) we were told there was an extra ”city tax” not included which would need to be paid before checking in which amounted to around an extra $90 or so, and the offered price of an airport transfer service went up as soon as we requested it (from 85 euros to 95). The hotel arranged the transfer service for us, but the driver left the airport before we could get out of the passport control due to another booking. The driver service showed up at the hotel at the time the flight was supposed to arrive, even though the flight was late, and you'd expect them to know that going through passport control takes easily an hour, so this seems to be quite poor planning on behalf of either the hotel or the service. We ended up taking a taxi from the airport which was also slightly over half the price of the transfer service, so I'd recommend skipping their service, it seems like a rip-off. Taxis from the airport to the city center seem to be subsidized by the government, and were a fixed price of 55 euros (for a normal size car big enough for 4 people) at the time we visited. The train from the airport is also not a bad idea if you're comfortable using the metro, as the train station is just 3-4 metro stops from the nearest metro station to the hotel (Spagna). Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but felt like we mostly paid for the location.

בבלVery clean, good location, didnt leave drinking water for wellcome but you could buy from the minibar 2.5 euro per small bottle. We asked for Iron and ironing board and they are not providing to consumers. You can pay per item for ironing services and wait 1.5 hours to get it ironed.

CClifford Onwah ChiI stayed from April 12, 2025 to April 25, 2025. They have a 24 hour reception desk which is nice and I think some or maybe all at front desk spoke English and Italian. They only have 1 or 2 vending machines in the back lobby area to get snacks in the middle of the night, but I did not use it because I got their breakfast every morning (7am to 10am). Their breakfast room which was near the front lobby was okay but not great (great being a Las Vegas buffet). They had cold cut meat slices like salami, chicken I think, ham. They also had cheese slices and bread slices though some seemed hard and need to be heated again. They had hard boiled eggs, lettuce, amd tomato slices. They had donuts and pastries some with fruit jelly and some with vanilla or hazelnut or chocolate. They had some fruit juices like pineapple juice and fruit juice. The hotel room I stayed at was a single room with a thin bed and a desk and a window. It has A/C. The shower was small and hard to stretch out to wash but was clean. They had a housekeeper come and clean the room, but I usually told them I didn't need it and they they left after knocking. The bed sheets were white and clean. The fridge was small. There was no safe to store things and no microwave to heat food. Overall, it is a good and clean hotel. The staff in the hotel and breakfast dining area all seemed helpful and friendly to me. The nice thing about the hotel was being very close to the train station just like less than a two minute walk to train station. There are also some convenience stores to buy some food and drinks. There is also several restaurants nearby to the hotel and a laundromat. I wish they had: 1) Coin-operated laundry machines inside. 2) More vending machine for snacks or sandwiches. 3) An ATM machine perhaps to withdraw anytime.

Ssilvia parisottothe hotel is near the station so even if you have a lot of baggages you don't have to walk a lot. We arrived before the check in time and since there was a room already ready they let us check in earlier. We really appreciated it because we arrived after a long trip from Japan. All the staff was really nice, the hospitality too. Maybe because the clients were almost all Japanese, but in the morning at breakfast time they put on famous Japanese songs, maybe to make them feeling at home. I think we made a good decision to stop at this hotel.

GGuest UserAs part of our ongoing Europe trip, I stayed with my aunt and my friend for 4 nights; we booked 2 rooms, our bed looked like a double but was 2 single joined so it was great for me and my aunt as we separated the beds. The hotel had good amenities - private bathroom was huge although for some reason the lights would just turn off randomly? I don't know if it was just our room or everyone else's. The swimming pool is only opened in the summer!! so it was closed for us, which was sad. The staff was really nice and they gave us extra blankets, coffee machine and a kettle when we asked for it! Really appreciated their help and trust me there was so many large groups always arriving at this hotel so they were doing amazing. We paid for dinner once and a breakfast. Dinner was hit or miss - I loved my Chicken salad, but the others weren't impressed with the burgers they had but breakfast was definitely better. I think the star was the beans because wow they were good. The only major cons about the stay was that our room was located right next to the elevator (same as Florence) and it was noisy all morning and late at night, plus some construction at like 8am ish so please if you can, ask for a faraway room! Also the distance from the city centre was quite tiring, yes it is only 23 mins metro from the Torre Angela station but an 11 mins walk from the station to the hotel and with our suitcases and the station exit not having any elevators, it was hard work. To get to the hotel side, you need to first go down the stairs, then up the stairs and go down again so if you are walking from the station to the hotel, be prepared!

GGuest UserI LOVED my stay at Hotel Monte Cenci. I was choosing between 2 hotels and I am sooo glad I went with Monte Cenci! It really made my trip. First of all, the location is perfect. It is tucked away on a quiet side street, walkable distance to some famous sights such as Pantheon, Trevi Fountain etc, but also right across the river from hipper neighborhoods like Trastevare. The hotel was extremely clean and comfortable, it was such a treat to come home to the beautiful room in between sightseeing and to be able to rest comfortably. The AC was perfect, the bedding was perfect, bathroom/ bathtub beautiful. And to top it all off, the staff at the hotel were just amazing. Every request of mine was met easily and happily - and even with more difficult requests, they were able to go above and beyond to help me. In a casual conversation with Paolo, the manager, he gave us his personal recommendation for his favorite Amatriciana, Rome's specialty and even helped us book a table last minute! I also had misplaced a necklace at the hotel and they were really helpful in locating it and updating me after my stay. The staff really showed that they cared about their guests before, during and after the stay and for that I am so grateful. It really felt like a home away from home and I cannot wait to come back to Rome just to stay here again. It really made my trip and I miss it so much! The breakfast on the rooftop was also a nice touch!!! My only complaint is that sound insulation wasn't great, and we had some noisy neighbors that slammed their doors quite hard in the morning. But not the hotel's fault at all.
