The hotel room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was pretty good. The best part of the hotel was the staff. They were very friendly and very accommodating. Would definitely recommend for anyone who wants to rest before / after a flight.

The place is near the station and an ample number of totos are available.The location is very good and not congested at all.
The size of the pool is indeed very big but the hotel management should clean it properly.The water colour turned green due to non maintenance and the bottom of the pool is not visible due to dirty water.
The mache vat e bengali restaurant's food was good but a bit overpriced.
The rooms were good and spacious and all amenities were present as was written on the website.
The staff behaviour was very good and always eager to help.
Overall an average stay which could have been better if hotel management had taken cleanliness policy by heart.

”I recently stayed at here and was thoroughly impressed with their breakfast offerings. The buffet had a wide variety of options, from freshly baked pastries and bread to hot dishes like scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausages. There were also plenty of healthy choices, including fresh fruit, yogurt, and an assortment of cereals. The coffee was strong and fresh, and I appreciated the selection of teas and juices as well. The staff was attentive, constantly refilling items and ensuring the area stayed clean. Overall, it was the perfect way to start the day, and I highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional breakfast!”

We booked a night here at the Holiday Inn Kolkata hotel. I have stayed in Holiday Inn chennai as well. However, the standards of cleanliness and amenities and the room, the bathroom fittings and floor were low and some areas felt unsanitized as well. The floor in the room also lacked cleanliness.
They also had a torn bedsheet on our bed which I asked them to remove and they very quickly and diligently changed it. However, I was disappointed since the finishing checks if the room is in good condition for the next guest needs improvement.
The walls lacked lustre. And we paid approximately 62 EUR. Maybe they need to check the standards of other Holiday Inns like in Chennai.
Food that we ordered was nice. 10/10 on that.
But somehow the brand that Holiday Inn is and that we experienced in Kolkata was a huge mismatch.
I hope they look into all this.

EEHSANIt is really a nice hotel. Good ambiance.
Some people will complain about back side construction view & noise.
But fortunately I got front side room, moreover who looks outside in city hotel?
But for sound hotel May change backside windows to soundproof options.
Clean & decorated room.
Breakfast is ok, rather I would say Good if not Very Good.
Reception people are very helpful, I got early check-in at 12:30PM.
Nearby Shopping District.
As it is busy area, so get ready for whole day huge traffic.

TTanjilHonestly speaking, the hotel was great. The location was a bit far from the airport, BUT it is located at one of the cleanest places in Kolkata, making it a huge plus. Now for the details:
Room: 5/5. The decoration, the ambiance, the wall art.
Lobby and other places: 5/5. Absolutely loved the design and hotel architecture.
Bathroom: 3.5/5. Honestly, it is a basic bathroom, but I expected more from a 5 star hotel, even on the cheaper rooms. There was no bathtub, which I feel is fairly common everywhere I’ve stayed in.
ONE PROBLEM: A major issue I have faced was after turning on the water. It had a smell, which I am guessing is from the river beside it. I feel like the Hotel should add a water filter to avoid this problem, because the smell doesn’t go away until the water is turned on for at least 5-10minutes. If I wasn’t South Asian, I probably couldn’t have taken the smell as easily as I did. I would put this in High Priority to fix for attracting many more customers.
Bar and Food: 4/5. Good collection, great taste but very expensive.
Lastly, a shoutout to Al Jabbar and Al Sahid from the Housecleaning service, they were extremely polite, fast, very thorough with their cleaning and very well mannered. Absolutely a delight to talk to and learn about the local areas.
I would definitely stay at this hotel again. Very rare to find such good hotels, with some minor flaws.

QQIFANOverall, the hotel is older and the facilities are older, but the location is better and it is closer to where I am going.
It wasn't much at first, and the main two points were not very satisfying: 1) If you checked in a few hours in advance, you will be charged half a day's room rate, and you can't discuss the price; 2) Late check out will also be charged a half day room rate. The charges are understandable and the facilities are outdated, but the overall attitude is not very satisfactory. In the case of choice, this will not be chosen. But occasionally stayed, nothing, the overall recommendation is moderate.

PPANCHALAs a touring musician, I have stayed at upscale hotels worldwide, and this might be my favorite ANYWHERE. VERY comfortable, quiet rooms. The facility is beautiful and welcoming inside and out with a sharp, modern design. I particularly enjoyed the rooftop pool/spa/gymnasium area -with the excellent view, this was a great place to start the morning! The restaurant and adjacent bar are very nice. Most importantly, every single person who works here, whether front desk staff, security, or ***agement, is OUTSTANDING. They take pride in their hotel and genuinely want you to enjoy your stay. The hotel is also in a beautiful neighborhood. I sincerely hope to come back!

The hotel team is taking a good care of the place and makes you feel very comfortable. The restaurant is something, food is super tasty and I have enjoyed very much all I have ate. I will definitely come back. Big thank to sandip Ghosn that brings me my room service, Nikhil mondal who takes care of my room everyday, Bhabna from the restaurant but as well the people I didn’t name, from the kitchen to restaurant staff and the lobby, that are all part of the great job. I was greeted with lots of smiles, very friendly accommodating staff who helped me with everything I needed. I ate and drank at the bar. Everything was delicious. The room was very comfortable stocked with everything you need. Great view of their beautiful pool. It was closed for maintenance so I couldn’t try it. They made me feel like family. I highly recommend this hotel when you want to stay close to the airport in Kolkata. Thank you for everything!

GGuest UserWe stayed in room 001 at the back. Room was small and average. There were 2 double beds in the small room positioned ackwardly. Only 1 chair to sit. Absolutely no space even to stand for both of us. Toilet was in very poor condition too with a very old door…Overall experience nowhere near ‘ Rajbari’!!! Very expensive as compared to facilities provided.
Staff was very nice. Food was good.
