Even though our room was already ready, they were very strict about only allowing check-in after 3pm, which made things inconvenient—especially for families travelling with children or elderly. 🏨 Room Condition The hotel is quite old, and it shows. • The room had a noticeable old smell when we entered. • The toilet wasn’t very clean, and water leaked out into the room area, which was uncomfortable and unsafe for kids. • Overall, the upkeep and cleanliness were not at the standard we expected. 🏊 Facilities We went to the pool area but found no staff at the pool counter, which made it difficult to request towels or assistance. I stayed at Novotel Pekanbaru with my wife and children for a short staycation. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and family-friendly. My kids really enjoyed the swimming pool, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good variety of options. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and a great choice for a family getaway.

The room was more spacious than expected, clean and tidy overall, with plenty of room to move between the bed and the TV wall, so unpacking luggage didn't feel cramped. The air conditioning was also very powerful. The hotel is about a 30-minute drive from Sultan Syarif Kasim II Airport. Facilities: The Lobby and *** Restaurant are on the 2nd floor, while the Pool, Gym, SPA, and Pool Bistro are on the 15th floor. Ideal for short stays of 1-2 nights, business trips, or layovers.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Besides being comfortable, it's right in the city center, close to large malls. Every time we had a staycation with the kids, swimming here was very comfortable. What really impressed me was getting a birthday surprise from the hotel staff!

Comfortable hotel about 30 minutes from the airport, located near a park and government buildings. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Mr. Iman, the petite morning-shift concierge staff (unfortunately I didn’t get his name), and the housekeeping staff who assisted with the extra bed and recommended great places to visit. Check-in by Mr. Agung was smooth. Breakfast was good. Overall, this was my first stay at The Premiere Pekanbaru, and it was a pleasant experience. Highly recommended.
