Antique hotel in a very good location close to the beach however no nothing is guaranteed by the hotel. There is no option to book parking (first come first serve basis), they can’t guarantee a good view to the sea even through you book a sea view room (you can end up to the side of the hotel which allows you a glimpse to the sea and that’s not what you really want and pay for). When trying to call the hotel goes to a customer service desk then they transfer you to the main reception which ends up with a dropped call several times considering the call is being charged per minute (we’re not in the 80’s, take some ownership for this please), if you finally get through they won’t be able to reserve a parking space at the hotel and guide you to park elsewhere (this you can literally do yourself without the hassle and waste of time). None of these (parking and room selection) are communicated precisely until you check in which in essence makes no sense when you want to plan your stay ahead. Overall the staff is kind and friendly so no improvement needed here, the opportunity stands for the hotel management who implement procedures and policies. The rooms have a heavy smell due to the age of the building, there is a brochure that explains refurbishment undergoing in that sense. Wifi - you can have daily access if you pay for wifi (I believe it was £7/24 hours) , this is also a thumbs down nowadays (tips: if you want to charge for wifi include this in the overall price fees so people don’t obviously pick on this or just offer it with the stay like a respectable business - a coffee shop where you spend £3 for a coffee offers it for free on a daily basis, think about it). Looking at breakfast - there is full English or cereal, oats and fruit. The terrace looks pretty nice, well looked after, a nice oasis to relax your senses listening to the sea waves. There is a chess board on a bigger scale just on the terrace, this if a nice setup and addition to the hotel vibe. Not a clean room at all. Suspicious brown dirty streaks all around the bathroom, chips out of the furniture and random paint marks up and down the walls. I’ve stayed at better Premier Inns.

One of the best UK hotel stays I've had so far. The room was newly refurbished and tastefully done with high quality & well thought of interior decorating. Amenities were top notch and clean. The in-house restaurant has a good menu with ethically sourced ingredients, very tasty. The staff were so helpful and efficient, thank you team!

The whole hotel is very nice, highly recommended. If you travel with a family, book his family room, the standard room is two beds 0.9. The most important thing is that there is a food street next to the hotel, with Chinese food and various hamburgers. Children under 13 years old are free of charge for breakfast. Parking is convenient, 15 pounds a day. It takes 15 minutes to walk to the beach, which is not far. The main thing is that they have to go down the mountain to the beach. Oh, and they gave the children a bucket and bubbles, which is very rare. The sand is so fine that we gave up going to the White Cliff and stayed on the beach for two days

Their room was on the small side but did the job. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Nice hotel, not far from the beach. Breakfast was good but was only until 9.30am. Rooms were nice, spacious and clean we had a balcony room with lovely views of the beach, the rooms were quite hot and no A.C which is needed in hot weather. The outdoor pool is heated but no indoor pool for when the weather isn’t good. Staff were helpful and friendly.

The hotel lobby is beautiful, the restaurant food is good, the breakfast is rich, the waiter is very friendly, the service is good, the hotel is very close to the beach, the environment is beautiful, the water is clear and the sand is young! Highly recommended

A good, cozy, clean hotel, close to the center and the bus station, conveniently located, warm (which is a huge plus for England), normal breakfasts.

The breakfast is good, there is a parking lot, and you can take extra beds with children. The hotel is extremely considerate and courteous to its customers. We arrived at the hotel from London Heathrow Airport very late on January 17th. The front desk guy with glasses welcomed us warmly and helped us carry our luggage to the room. We came to participate in a ballroom dancing competition. We originally booked a hotel for 4 days, but the teacher asked us to come 1 day earlier, and we later booked an additional day. After staying for 1 day, we had to change rooms for another 4 days due to room type issues. We didn’t want to deal with the big stuff, but a female manager, the lady leader, was very considerate and helped us move to the next door, which was very convenient. We booked a double bed, but it was new. The room is a single bed room. For our convenience, an extra bed was added. We are very grateful. And in the next few days, she came to ask if our stay was comfortable, she was very warm and thoughtful. I hope to stay in this hotel again when I come to participate in the UK OPEN competition in the future!

Ultimate holiday destination at Dorset, SW England, with sun, beach, sea and pool (and lots of bubbles), friendly staff, vacation mood and good nibbles. Always busy always happening :)

All good, excellent place to stay whilst visiting family in the town.  My only disappointment was in the booking  - I wanted a smaller room and both the website and hotel stated there was one available but having almost completed booking was told only a master bedroom was available and considerably more expensive.  I had no time to investigate other options in the town.

Pleasant, clean & tidy, good shower, nice choice of breakfast. Easy to park outside and short 10mins walk into Bridport. I visited to go to the hat festival, which was so much fun, met with friends & had a fun day. Would definately stay here again :)
