Such a great stay! The hotel have a smart home assistant that made everything so convenient! The bed is the BIG PLUS! It was huge and super comfortable making it hard to leave! The best part? They offer free airport transfer which was huge time and cost savers for us! The staff is also very friendly! Highly recommended this place in all aspects especially if you reach airport late night or need to leave early!

The hotel is easy to find, it’s on main road. Easy for didi ride. Great location, you can walk to Kunming railway station within 10-15 mins. Also, surrounding by convenience stores, restaurants. The room is very spacious and clean. Good breakfast, Staff is super friendly and supportive!

This place is amazing and is a dream for animal and nature lovers. You get to be near the animals and they would also go up to you as they are not afraid of strangers. From the moment we arrived at the accommodation, we were greeted by the staff who were all very kind and friendly. We woke up with a headache on one day and the staff very kindly went out to buy medicine for us. They also helped us to arrange transportation to and fro places and helped us to book our train tickets as well. As Shangri-La was our first stop in Yunnan, the air in the room felt quite dry and stale and we had some difficulty adjusting. However, the service provided by the staff made up for everything and we were very satisfied with our stay. We will definitely miss this accommodation! ❤️

Though this is only a 4 star hotel, their customer service is top-notch, deserved to be 5 star. Even before the stay, the hotel reached out to be if I need some decoration for my room. Without even a second thought they will assist you with your luggage when checking in and out. They also called to our room if we needed any night snacks and delivered it up. I encountered numerous hiccups with my taobao deliveries and they took the initiative to assist and contact the delivery company. The hotel also serves wonderful breakfast at the lobby and there’s a corner in the lobby where snacks are served at specific timing. What’s interesting is that you can make your own tea/coffee. The hotel also has laundry room for everyone to use at no costs. I would like to specially thank 凤凰 and 欣玉 for their excellent service and hospitality! ❤️

Upon my late-night arrival, Ms.丁绮月 efficiently processed my check-in while thoroughly explaining hotel amenities and breakfast options, ensuring a restful start after a long journey. Her exceptional service left a lasting impression. Despite my offer to retrieve my Taobao packages myself, she insisted on using the automated robot, demonstrating a genuine desire to assist. Although my app showed the some of my missing packages as delivered, her proactive approach quickly resolved the issue. She identified the possibility that they were mistakenly delivered to a nearby building, 30 meters away, sharing the same address but a different block number. This enabled me to locate the missing packages. Her willingness to go above and beyond, rather than simply stating the hotel lacked the parcels, was truly commendable. Upon nearing departure for my flight, I had arranged private transportation. While awaiting the vehicle, Ms.丁绮月 emerged from the hotel, informing me of the imminent arrival (within five minutes) of the hotel's airport shuttle. She kindly offered the shuttle as an alternative, considering my substantial luggage. Instead of simply processing my checkout, she proactively assisted, waiting outside in the cold until the shuttle's arrival to ensure my safe boarding and even helped with my heavy luggage, exceeding expectations. Great location, with two food streets nearby that are lively at night. Surrounded by many shopping malls. Sufficient space to put two huge luggages and still walk around with ease. There’s a free supper buffet available (porridge), and drinks available all the time. Bed was a little hard but you get two pillow choices. If you’re a light sleeper just know that this is a very lively area so the sounds of cars can still be heard around midnight. Nonetheless the location trumps all!

I had an amazing stay at Yutang Luxury Resort Hotel, located in the heart of Dali’s Gu Cheng. The location itself is a huge plus—nestled within the charming old town, it’s easy to take your time and explore the vibrant surroundings. The hotel serves a simple but delightful breakfast, and I found it to be just perfect for starting the day. It’s not overly extravagant, but it’s incredibly satisfying. One of the best things about the resort is its proximity to bars and local nightlife—just a short walk away, you can enjoy the lively atmosphere of Gu Cheng until late. The staff at Yutang were attentive and friendly, always ready to assist with any request. Their hospitality made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, this hotel is a great choice for anyone visiting Dali. It offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and warmth.

Room was clean and service was excellent from staff. I would highly recommend choosing this hotel for your stay in Kunming. It is also near the railway station, making it convenient to take the train to other cities.

l The Crystal Orange Hotel is an excellent choice, especially for Muslim travelers. The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of Kunming, with the Halal Street just behind the hotel. This made finding delicious food incredibly convenient, and Kunming truly felt like a food paradise for us. The hotel is surrounded by malls and shopping areas, so everything you need is within walking distance. We didn’t even have to use Didi during our stay—it’s that convenient. As for the hotel itself, it’s clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The highlight for us was definitely the location. It made our trip so much easier and more enjoyable. This will absolutely be our go-to hotel whenever we return to Kunming. Highly recommended!

We had a great stay at this hotel the location is very convenient in Lijiang ancient town but it’s by the street so that cars can stop by the entrance of the hotel. We were welcomed by the front desk team that helped with our luggage. We initially booked a twin room but the room we had booked was a bit dark and we asked if there was any other room available. One of the employees named 阿鑫 quickly helped us to check and offered us an upgrade to a suite instead which was much better. The room was very clean and modern with a beautiful view of the ancient town. We also received free minibar and welcome fruits which was very nice. Furthermore, 阿鑫 helped us to introduce all the important tourist attractions and restaurants as well as bars. She helped to book tickets for the attractions that we wanted to visit and also followed up to see that we were happy. Her friendly and professional service made us feel very happy and we enjoyed our short stay in Lijiang very much.

loved the experience, the staff were so friendly and warm. the best trip i ever had in 2024. food was good, stay was comfortable and view was one of the best!! though its on the pricy side but its very worth the deal. the staff were so helpful in all ways, from sharing with you what to do in yunnan to helping us out with our luggage's... bookings and everything! high tea was amazing too with different varieties every day.

We stayed here for 4 nights in Lijiang and felt so well taken care of by the attentive and warm hotel staff, who upgraded us for the first half of our stay for free and saw to our every need and request so quickly. For example we were heading up to Yulong Snow Mountain and needed a new SD card. The staff kindly ordered and had delivered to us in a matter of hours before we even reached the hotel. 🥹 The hotel is also beautifully furnished, with a nice modern luxe feel for the rooms and dining areas. Although it is a little hard to get to as it’s situated near the peak of Lijiang Ancient City, it offers a beautiful view of the whole city especially at night. Don’t worry about having to bring your luggages up the cobblestoned slopes yourself as well, as the hotel staff will arrange for people to help carry them on your behalf. Before making the booking, I was quite skeptical of all the rave reviews (honestly, they all look like AI-generated). I am so glad that I went ahead with my booking in the end. The reviews were true! LaMaison was truly the highlight of our trip! Arrival: If you arrive in a standard sedan car, you can be driven to the doorstep of the hotel. We arrived in a 19-seater tour bus and were dropped off a short walk away. That was no problem at all as we didn’t have to worry about our luggage. The hotel manager/butler A-Liu contacted us beforehand and arrived right on time to help ferry all the luggage in a cart. Location: Excellent. With LaMaison located at the edge of the Old Town, we enjoyed both the convenience of exploring the Old Town on foot and a peaceful and quiet environment. Rooms: As mentioned by the other reviewers – the rooms are new, comfortable, beautiful and big (for the price). In fact the whole hotel was beautiful - every corner was photo-worthy. Service: Our hotel butler, A-Liu was contactable and responsive via wechat. He addressed all our questions and needs promptly. He also offered us an upgrade so that my teenager could have a private area in the room and a comfortable bed instead of just an extra mattress. Overall, we enjoyed our experience at LaMaison very much. The value was unbeatable. As part of the room price, we were offered daily breakfast, afternoon tea, supper and drop off at the train station at the end of the stay. A-Liu also provided a detailed map of the Old Town and offered to take us on a private tour of the Old Town Can’t recommend LaMaison enough!

It was near a busy road so there was slow traffic before we reached the hotel. There are eateries and restaurants nearby and a bus stop 2 street away. We are able to view Jade Dragon on clear days even on 3rd floor. The room was a spacious, clean, comfortable bed. Basic amenities are provided in the room. What i like best is the laundry room free for use, especially helpful when we stayed for many days. It has a good spread of breakfast with good mix of local delicacies and western food.

The hotel is located a few hundred meters outside the Baisha Ancient Town, and it takes only a few minutes to walk to the ancient town. The hotel service is particularly good, the handsome men and beautiful women are very enthusiastic, there is fruit afternoon tea when checking in, and unlimited coffee. There is a coffee bar in the hotel lobby where you can sit and drink coffee. Osmanthus latte and Yunnan hand-brewed small-grain coffee are especially recommended. You can also ask handsome men and beautiful women in the group to deliver to the room. The breakfast is very rich, and the store will also remind you to watch the sunrise of Jinshan Mountain. You can watch it on the balcony of the room, or in the public area on the roof!

Excellent location opposite Lijiang ancient town.Ypu just need to use the subway entrance 7 just at entry to hotel ground car park. Hotel itself is clean,new and nice warm rooms. Reception staff can be better with a smile.Laundry is a plus, free of charge with detergent.

This is a superb staying experience. Located inside ancient town. The day before we arrive, the hotel staff, Yang Kun, personally called to confirm arrival (ask for Wechat contact to communicate easier) and provide location where for the ride hailing (Didi) to send us (as car can't go into ancient town). Yang Kun present at the place to greet us and provide a small bicycle carriage for our luggage. He help us check in, even gave us suggestion for travel place when he enquired whether we have any plans arrange for visit (we travel leisurely, only plan where to go when arrive). Gave us contact to for local private arrangement to Jade Dragon Mountain of which we contact and arrange directly. Upgrade our rooms on the next 2 nights as its quite low season (winter). Even tho low season, their rooms are fully occupied on next 2 nights after we arrive. When we checked out earlier on the 4th day (before he started work) he Wechat to confirm whether everything is OK and arrange accordingly. What a service from Yang Kun... Kudos to him...

Absolutely fantastic hidden gem of a hotel. I’m sure all the other reviews have mentioned the great location, cleanliness, comfort, and amenities. However what really stood out was the level of customer service - as a solo traveller who stays in hotels half the year, this was truly the most outstanding. No other hotel has made me feel like “part of the family”. While strong at first, my tip is to just embrace it and enjoy Da Li!

The location is excellent, on the edge of the ancient city, not noisy and quiet at night, so I can sleep well. The service is great, thanks to the housekeeper Xiaofeng and another guy for helping with the luggage. The tea at the boss's house tastes good too. I talked to the boss on the day I arrived. His thirteen cats and this corgi were all abandoned by others! And it cost nearly five figures to treat the dog, which is very valuable. It can be seen that the boss's character is nothing to say. Staying in his hotel makes people feel at ease! If the itinerary was not full later, I really want to stay for two more days. Full score is 10 points, and I am not afraid that you will be proud if I score 11! Looking forward to seeing you next time👋!

I recently stayed at 三色云河, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! The homestay offered breathtaking views that made it the perfect setting for one of the most important moments of my life – proposing to my girlfriend. The entire experience was truly unforgettable. The host and 管家 (六斤) were exceptionally accommodating, going above and beyond to assist with all the arrangements and ensure everything was absolutely perfect. Their attention to detail and genuine care made us feel incredibly well looked after. The property itself was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and exuded a peaceful charm that made it all the more special. It was truly the ideal place to create such a precious memory. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for making this moment so extraordinary for us. I wholeheartedly recommend this wonderful homestay to anyone seeking a memorable and unique experience!

The room looked great and was very comfortable. The location is near the ancient city. There are any places to eat nearby. The staff was very helpful. The tea they provide is also high quality. The only issue I have is with the TV. The box has a large selection of movies and TV series a la Netflix,however if you want to watch regular live TV , the box says that you have to pay. Note that the hotel is located in an alley off Yeyu Road and at first was hard to find.

The hotel design is quite unique, which is particularly suitable for my vacation accommodation needs; the hotel was newly opened in 24 years, the room has no strange smell, and the details of hygiene are also very good. FO's Con. Li Jintan will introduce the nearby scenic spots and the shuttle bus service provided by the hotel in detail when checking in, and will deliver the luggage to the room with the guests. FD Miss Guo Ping will enthusiastically help guests with luggage after checking out, and FO will send souvenirs when leaving. The service is pretty good. Another small feature of the hotel is the self-service laundry room. The LG washing and drying machine is very convenient, and it is equipped with basic equipment such as hanging ironing machines, which is especially suitable for people who need to wash clothes when going out. The hotel is very close to the Cangshan Gate of Dali Ancient City, a little more than one kilometer away, and it can be walked there. It is also very close to the Cangshan Geological Park Scenic Area. The hotel is very convenient for calling a taxi. The only feeling of the experience is that the room sound insulation effect is average, the gym is a bit small, and there are few dumbbells and kettlebells for fitness equipment. Considering the design style of the hotel, it is recommended to book a room above 2F, which will be quieter. The breakfast is relatively rich, including Dali specialty snacks, which is also a good stay experience.

We stayed in a room with skylight and it was beautiful in the evening. Not to worry about any bright sunlight, there's a sliding cover to block out the sun during the day. Hot water is instant and the AC is capable of blowing hot air, wonderful in wintry December. The room was cleaned every day. Breakfast was simple but nevertheless nourishing and promptly served. Location of the hotel is good, near to many eateries and it's within the old town. Overall a good place to return to after a day of travel.

The breakfast and afternoon tea are delicious and exquisite. The hotel lobby always has fruit candies. The location is super plus! It is on Yuer Road in the ancient city, and it takes 5 minutes to walk to Erhai Gate. It takes only 10 minutes to walk to Renmin Road for a drink in the evening. It feels worth staying here!
