My recent stay at the Kathmandu Marriott Hotel was absolutely fantastic. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed with warm hospitality and professional service. The rooms were spacious, modern, and offered stunning views of the city and mountains. The breakfast buffet was diverse and delicious, with both local and international options. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable—especially the concierge team, who were incredibly helpful with travel tips and arrangements. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kathmandu for business or leisure!

Very impressed with everything about this hotel. Big gym for exercise. Clean rooms and pool. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is very good! Location is good .. walking distance 10mins to the nearest shopping mall. Will surely come back to stay here!

Aloft Kathmandu is a fantastic hotel with a trendy, modern vibe. The rooms are stylish, comfortable, and well-equipped. The rooftop bar offers breathtaking city views, and the breakfast buffet is delicious. The staff is warm, attentive, and always ready to help. Its central location makes exploring Kathmandu easy. A perfect choice for a fun, relaxing, and hassle-free stay! Highly recommended!

The staff is warm, the breakfast buffet is rich in content, the facilities and sanitation are good, quiet, and the location is not far from the entrance of the scenic spot and walks to the Palace Square.

The mattress and pillows had very bad smell like they had not been replaced for a couple of years. The food in Zing cafe at the lobby was just so so. The plastic table covers generally full of food debris without frequent changing. During the 7-day stay, the service at front desk, restaurant and for our room however was overall up to the standard of a 5-star hotel.

I recently stayed at Basera Boutique Hotel, and I have to say, it was a fantastic experience! This charming new hotel really captures the essence of Nepal with its lovely vibe. It’s super clean and conveniently located near all the main attractions. One of the highlights for me was the pool—it was pristine and perfect for a refreshing dip. And don’t even get me started on the breakfast! There were so many delicious options to choose from, plus their coffee and beer on tap were a nice touch. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They helped us book taxis and even arranged airport pickups and drop-offs for our flights from Kathmandu. They also offered great recommendations for tours and places to explore. Our room had an amazing view of the mountains, which was just the icing on the cake. I can’t wait to return to Basera Boutique Hotel on my next trip!

Location is superb, right in the middle of Kathmandu, walking distance to Thamel. Other interesting landmarks are easy to reach with the helpful taxi drivers (always present outside the gates). Hotel staff are very kind, sincerely engage in conversation and helpful in providing tourist information. Rooms are cost and warm decorated. Hotel has a beautiful garden suitable for a relaxing stroll. Swimming pool is nice and very clean! I highly recommend this hotel above other hotels in Kathmandu. Although it is not a five-star hotel, it already feels like a five-star hotel in Nepal! The room is large and clean, and the view from the room is also very good. Two bottles of bottled water are free. After drinking, you can ask the hotel staff to help fill the water (not sealed bottled water). The restaurant is divided into indoor and outdoor areas, and the menu is the same. I personally feel that it is not surprising. Dinner can be divided into buffet or a la carte. It is recommended that everyone choose this hotel if they want to go to Nagarkot.

I had a wonderful stay in this beautiful, historic building. Staff was attentive and kind. Adjacent to the hotel are nice restaurants (Nepalese, Indian and very fine French). I've made use of the small but practical gym, thereafter the sauna and finishing and cooling off in the outside pool.  Only 10-15m away from the airport (outside rush hours).  I'll certainly come again.
