5-Star Hotels in Veneto, Italy

An amazing hotel!  Arrived in Venice by train from Trieste (after disembarking from a cruise ship).  Getting to the hotel and around Venice was easy using the vaporetto (bought the 48 hour passes at the pier kiosk located outside the train station).  The hotel, room, bathroom, and view were beautiful!  The hotel staff including the receptionist and concierge were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful!  They provided an amazing and unexpected surprise on our 2nd day there…recognizing my wife’s birthday.  We returned to the room and they had placed balloons on the bed and had a bottle of champagne and other fine treats waiting for her!  This hotel and staff go above and beyond the 5 star expectations!

The hotel is beautiful and well-decorated, with an elegant blend of classic and modern styles. However, its location is a bit far from the main attractions. The highlight of the experience was undoubtedly the staff, who were extremely polite and attentive. Unfortunately, the Valentine’s Day dinner was a major disappointment. Despite having great potential to be a special night, it lacked planning and romance. There was no themed decoration, and the music selection was completely off, with Latin music playing instead of a romantic Italian soundtrack. The only saving grace of the evening was the menu—the food was simply delicious, and I am immensely grateful to the chef for that. Without his exceptional cuisine, the night would have been completely ruined. Another frustrating detail was the absence of live music, despite the presence of a piano in the hotel. Throughout the entire weekend, there was no performance, which was a shame, as small details like this could have made a big difference in the atmosphere. Overall, the hotel has its qualities, but the service feels more like a 4-star standard rather than a true 5-star experience.

The canal outside the room is beautiful, and the hotel is located on a street full of designer brands, making shopping and entertainment very convenient. The bed is very comfortable, and I slept soundly.

Beautiful hotel on a beautiful island. Room was big and clean with little view of the lagoon. Staff in the reception was helpful and we got a complimentary ride to visit the glass factory on Maurano Island. Really enjoyed our dinner by the seaside restaurant with the beautiful sunset. Highly recommend this hotel to those who visit Venice.

Room facilities and sanitation are OK; the staff service attitude, courtesy and thoughtful are very good, and they also take the initiative to give drinks; the new hotel is indeed more fashionable and novel, with a sense of technology and modernity, so that I use voice, so as not to type the result is comfortable and pleasant; The air conditioning in the hotel lobby is very sufficient and powerful, so that Italy 🇮🇹 summer travel is cool and comfortable; breakfast is OK; the location is very good, very close to the shopping mall business district, many main attractions can be reached on foot, and the safety factor is high; A pleasant stay experience, it is worthy of a new five-star hotel with high evaluation. For your reference only.

I would have given them a higher score but we had a few issues. First the restaurant and bar were closed on one of the 2 nights we stayed. For a premium cost hotel I would expect to be able to get a drink in the bar. Breakfast was really poor. It was included in our rate but consisted of stale croissant and pan au chocolat. Poor selection of cured meat and cheese and one bowl of fruit salad. No toast. I asked for an egg and my daughter a crepe. We were charged an extra £25! Hotel was otherwise in a good location and rooms were lovely. New member of staff had started that day and he was brilliant.

The hotel is conveniently located, just outside the city centre. The hotel is beautiful designed and decorated. The staff is very friendly and forthcoming. The only downside is that the hotel at a busy road. The rooms are soundproofed, but you can hear the traffic. The reception and bar / restaurant staff speak perfect English. However other staff speaks no English. That resulted in one of the staff tried to deny me parking and couldn’t understand I was a guest.

This hotel has a private pier, making it very convenient for guests to arrive directly by water taxi. The hotel garden is beautiful, and the rooms offer open, scenic views that perfectly capture the charm and atmosphere of Venice. The staff are friendly and welcoming. There were a few minor issues, such as bottled water not being replenished in one of the rooms, but overall, the atmosphere was wonderful. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The Venice Venice Hotel was the biggest surprise of the accommodation experience during this trip to Italy. Housed in a 13th-century Byzantine-style building, the hotel space overlooks the canal and the Rialto Bridge in an artistic and avant-garde manner. Each of the hotel's more than 20 rooms is inspired by a different artist or movement, and the foyer by the canal pays tribute to Carlo Scarpa. The founder hopes that the Venice Venice Hotel will be as far away from the typical ”art hotel” as possible.

The Grand Savoia was fantastic, hospitable and accommodating. When we arrived, due to a backend error, they had not received our reservation and were fully booked with no rooms available. Despite the error not being made on behalf of the hotel they took very good care of us. They put us in an upgraded room at their sister hotel just across the street and made all amenities of the 5 star grand hotel available to us. 10/10. They’ve done a great job.
