Overall, it's pretty good. The decor has a bit of an American style, giving it a warm and cozy feel. The view from the window is lovely, offering a direct look at the lake. The hotel restaurant is right downstairs, and we saw many foreigners sitting there enjoying drinks. The town itself is small; you can explore most of it within a 15-minute walk, which is very convenient. There's no mini-fridge in the room, but you can ask the front desk for ice, and they'll provide a large bucket.

It's a Relais & Châteaux hotel, but this was the only room available when I made the reservation. I didn't expect it to be so small. If you can afford it, book a larger one. It's comfortable to stay in and there's a Michelin restaurant downstairs.

A very cozy family hotel with an excellent location. It is within walking distance to Bowness and the cruise pier. Although I only stayed in Windermere for one night this time, I still thoroughly enjoyed it. Their English breakfast is beyond praise😋

I especially recommend this hotel, a old English villa, which is newly renovated and British style. It is very clean and full of toiletries. It is 3 minutes away from the town by car. The room can see part of the lake view and the surrounding environment. Very good, I especially like their afternoon tea, the tea set is very exquisite, and I look at it with great care! Part of the breakfast is buffet, and the main meal is à la carte, with a large portion and enough to eat! If you have children staying with you, you must tell the hotel in advance that the children need to charge a fee of £28.50/piece/night! This fee includes breakfast and extra bed. If it is not stated in advance, the fee will still be charged, but there will be no extra bed! Expresso capsule coffee is provided free of charge in the room, which is my favorite. Those who like coffee are very surprised!

The traditional English manor style, blooming gardens, and tranquil lakeside all make people linger. During this trip to the Lake District, I went to the town center and ambleside. It is not an exaggeration to say that I personally feel that only by staying at the Langdale Chase Hotel can we truly appreciate the beauty of the Lake District. The attitude of the staff is also relatively good. The hotel is about 5 kilometers from the railway station and a taxi is 10 pounds; it is about 2 kilometers from the ambleside pier. You can also take a bus to these two towns, but the bus stop is five to six hundred meters away from the hotel, which is not particularly recommended. If you are not driving by yourself, it is better to take a taxi. If you are taking a taxi, it is best to call the front desk. It usually takes ten minutes. If you are in a hurry, it is best to advance. The toilet facilities are slightly outdated, but there is no major impact. The lake view room I stayed this time was quite spacious with a balcony. Overall, very satisfied!

The feeling of an English country villa is very cozy. When traveling with a family, we thought that three people would squeeze into one bed, but when we came back, we found that the service staff had put up a folding bed. The service staff was very nice. If there was no service staff after 7pm, you could call if you needed anything, and enter and exit the hotel by yourself with the key. The restaurant is warm and clean, the service is good, and the dishes are also rich. It has its own independent parking lot. I will recommend it to my friends.

Second, the house is an old-fashioned wooden structure with poor sound insulation. The thick carpet creaks when you walk on it. You can clearly hear people passing by and talking at the door. The house has no air conditioning but heating. It was quite comfortable when I went there in late October, but I don’t know how it is in summer. I used the key shown below, which is quite cute. Third, it’s still the above problem. It’s on the top of the mountain. It’s very convenient for local British people to drive there in ten minutes. But it’s troublesome for travelers like me. It takes at least one hour to walk up and another hour to walk down. There is no UBER in the town of Bonness. You have to call to take a taxi. Moreover, there will be no taxis if you are too early or too late. For me who can hardly speak English, it’s very annoying. It gets dark at five o’clock in the UK in winter. I had to walk back from the town of Bonness after dinner. There were no lights and no people in the second half of the road. It was pitch black. I was hiking in the rain alone with only the sound of birds singing in my ears. Fortunately, I am a boy But it was also a different experience. It's still not safe for girls. It's not recommended to walk at night. Fourth, the front desk service was very good. The lady with glasses on the first day was also polite. I basically couldn't speak English, but she was still patient. The best one was the front desk lady in Rome, Italy, who I met on the second day. It seemed that she had been to Beijing and Shanghai and could speak Chinese. Thank you. She patiently taught me to order breakfast. I had to transfer to London from Windermere Station early in the morning on the third day. It was too early, and the taxi I called for me on the phone couldn't come. She actually drove me to Windermere Railway Station in the morning and then went back to work. Otherwise, I would have to walk down the mountain in the dark for more than an hour at six in the morning. I would like to say thank you very much here. I hope the Italian Rome lady will come to China again when she is free. In the evening, there will be a special regular masseur to ask if you need a massage before going to bed. On the first day, there was a beautiful woman. My English was too poor to understand what she meant. I thought she was cleaning the house. Later, I didn't ask for a massage and didn't tip her. I was really sorry. On the second night, there was a strong British man. I understood it after a while. I was afraid that I was not used to it, so I didn't ask for a massage. I gave a tip but declined it politely. It was very good. Fourth, let's talk about the hotel price The lowest price is over 3000 RMB per night. The price is not cheap. Ctrip said that breakfast is not included, but it is actually included. The breakfast is very good, a typical English breakfast. You can pay the waiter 5 pounds to send it to the room. In conclusion, if you have enough budget and want to relax and enjoy the different scenery of the British Lake District, it is definitely the first choice. But next time I go there, I will definitely translate my domestic driver's license and rent a car, otherwise my legs will be broken.
