Great
GGuest UserAs many of the other reviews pointed out, the photos of the room were not wholly accurate. My room seemed pretty outdated and was quite dark too. Take note: the curtains do not cover the entire length of the windows, so sunlight flooded the room from 6am in April, so I wouldn’t recommend in the Summer months when daylight is longer. The shower curtain does not go all the way down and water easily escapes so the entire bathroom floor will be wet after you shower. I was very creeped out by the dark ominous hallways with huge room number signs and random music playing at certain times of the day. Other than that, the room was clean enough and I was pleasantly surprised to find that there was a mini fridge and that they changed the towels everyday. There is body soap, shampoo, and conditioner, but when I stayed there was no shampoo or conditioner at all and they didn’t top it up either throughout my stay. I accidentally left behind a card in my room after checking out and politely asked if they could help mail it to the neighbouring city I had moved on to, but they asked 20€ for it which I felt was quite unreasonable and they were rude about it too.
RRyan_MaThe traditional hotel in Tallinn's old town, I like the atmosphere of the hotel very much. It takes about 15 minutes to walk (adult pace) to various attractions in the old town. There is a cafe next to the hotel, with two supermarkets and a McDonald's attached.
The hotel staff took the trouble to answer my questions before check-in (mainly because I couldn't arrive at the hotel before the specified check-in time). There are no toothbrushes, toothpaste and other spare parts in the room, but it does not affect the comfort of the stay. In addition, there is no elevator in the hotel, and people with luggage need to consider themselves.

MMeganNo kettle no desk, but the design was sleek and modern. They have a free flow coffee machine with hot water dispenser at the lobby, however a but of a pain to trek down for hot water for tea. No slippers provided (ostensibly for sustainability but the tiled bathroom was freezing). Overall very comfortable night’s sleep on the bed however, and the bench seat was the perfect height for me (limited mobility due to hip disability) i would have liked a shelf in the bath to put my own toiletries on and the water temperature fluctuated lots during a shower. The room heater wasn’t terribly warm, overall the room temperature stayed stubbornly at 23 degrees (definitely colder at some spots) and still chilly for tropical natives like me. It was a fairly close walk from the bus terminal (unfortunately the paths were iced over and no one had cleared the ice when I arrived. No cabs available so I had to hoof it over with luggage in tow. Without the spikes I had with me to pull onto my boots, I would have no doubt fallen a few times. The staff were overall pleasant and professional. There’s a map provided of the main attractions as well. If you do succeed at getting a cab, there is a driveway adjacent so the driver can pick you up from the hotel itself. Not too far a walk from the old town - about 20-30 minutes.
PPetra KarimiesVery nice hotel and excellent location with parking places. Only minus was that it's not for free (10€/night). Not possible to adjust the room temperature.
SStef T.The location is great, it’s at the edge of the old town so most of the places in the city centre are within working distance.
Cleanliness can be improved though - there was some long hair in the bed…
Breakfast is very basic. I would have expected a bit more in terms of quality of food (eg. Scrabble egg was rubbery, juice was just diluted chemical). But price is reasonable overall.
Jjebo sWay too expensive for what you get: hot sleeping room without a window and airco. The mattress of the sleeping sofa was very uncomfortable. No doors between the rooms for some privacy. Very small kitchen with the bare essentials. Good points are the luggage storage for a small extra fee and the staff who's very responsive by phone.

Kkiko halfonLocation: Great, right next to the train station, accessible by almost all trams and buses
Room: A little small, but very clean, the bathroom is also very clean
Breakfast: There are many kinds, and there is also fish to eat, not only ham. I only stayed for two nights, and the breakfast dishes were exactly the same for both days, with no change at all. If you stay for a few more nights, you will really get tired of it.
Facilities: The room facilities are not too new, but they are not old, and the hotel facilities do not look bad. At this price, this kind of accommodation is worth it.
Highly recommend to stay!!
GGuest UserThis hotel exceeded my expectations. While it’s small and budget-friendly, it’s packed with character and charm. Great location just a few minutes from the bus station and a short stroll to everything in Tallinn’s Old Town.
Staying here felt like stepping into a medieval castle. What it lacks in luxury, it makes up for in atmosphere and history. The winding staircases, uneven floors, richly patterned carpets add to its quirky appeal. There’s a real beauty in its imperfections.
The rooms are very small and basic, but they were spotless and suited our needs. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was squeaky clean, and we received fresh towels daily, which was more than I expected at this price point.
Overall, it was more than just a place to sleep, it was a memorable experience that made us feel like we’d stepped back in time.
