5-Star Hotels in Ningxia, China

Amazing decision to go to Yinchuan for Dragon Boat Festival since it has the best weather and the cleanest city in China. Kempinski in this city is one of the best. The hotel is in the middle of the city, so there are multiple destinations to tour. For my trip, I did not go to the sand dune area. I focused on the ride share to the touristy movie film park snd neighboring theme town. The hotel is also near the growing 801 Creative Park, Night Market, and just a walk from the Ningxia Museum. So many more local and traditional spots. Bring an extra shopping bag. The hotel has a great view of their master plan development, delicious food options from the cafe to the German restaurant, and coffee/tea lobby lounge. The staff is bilingual and the grounds are immaculately clean. Sleeping and facilities really comfortable. Nicest locals all around. Thank you for a great stay.

Ningxia was a last-minute decision just a few days before my trip, and what a beautiful city it is! Even after a tiring journey, I chose the Marriott. I only booked it on the day of arrival, but the staff were incredibly welcoming. The surrounding area is bustling with many attractions. I enjoyed afternoon tea in the executive lounge, which offered beautiful views of the Yinchuan cityscape, including a large lake and well-planned, crisscrossing roads, all with immaculately maintained green belts. From my suite, I had a fantastic view of the distant Helan Mountains. Interestingly, the next day, while staying at the foot of the Helan Mountains, I could still spot the Marriott! Overall, my stay was incredibly comfortable. After a day of rest, I felt completely refreshed. Yinchuan left a wonderful impression on me, and I'll definitely be back!

I am really satisfied with my stay at this hotel. The service, environment and details are impeccable! The transportation is convenient, and the surrounding dining and shopping are very convenient, and it is also close to popular attractions. The front desk staff Xiao Yong is warm and thoughtful, the check-in and check-out process is efficient, and he also took the initiative to upgrade the room type! The room service responds quickly and cleans very cleanly. The room is spacious and bright, the bedding is soft and clean, and I slept very well at night. The bathroom has plenty of hot water, and the toiletries are of good quality. The hotel is equipped with a gym, swimming pool, restaurant, etc. The breakfast variety is rich and tastes great! Special recommendation~I will definitely choose here again next time I come to Ningxia! Super cost-effective, highly recommended to friends in need!

The room is small in size and clean and tidy. The parent-child room I booked has a double bed and a single bed, which is especially suitable for a family of three. Toiletries come in large bottles and are of good quality. Breakfast is an absolute plus for this hotel. Cold side dishes, haggis soup, fried buns, and ramen are all great! Not inferior to international five stars. Although the breakfast area is not large, everything is of good quality. Wuzhong is not a big city, so I parked my car in front of the hotel when I was driving, which was very convenient. It takes one hour to go to Yinchuan from Wuzhong, one hour to Shuidonggou, and one and a half hours to Shapotou. I like the Northwest~

Having stayed at the Sheraton Sanya last summer, I continued my choice of Sheraton for this trip to Yinchuan. The service quality remains consistently excellent, and I had a truly wonderful experience. This visit was during peak season, and unfortunately, we had to switch rooms for our two-night stay. The young lady at the front desk, a member of an ethnic minority group, was incredibly patient, charming, and had a fantastic attitude. Later, customer service directly arranged our luggage transfer when we changed rooms, so we didn't have to handle it ourselves. We simply went out for the day, and upon our return, our luggage was already perfectly placed in our new room. The customer service team was also very quick to respond. Regarding the Executive Benefits: The executive lounge is convenient for grabbing a bite to eat, though its offerings aren't particularly unique. However, the young lady providing service there was exceptionally enthusiastic – big thumbs up! She was practically an ambassador for Ningxia tourism, haha. Also, the twin room was very spacious!

The hotel is perfectly located above Yinchuan's bustling shopping mall, offering convenient transportation. Nearby are a variety of restaurants, entertainment venues, and a night market. Tea House is just a short walk downstairs. The rooms are fully equipped and very clean. The mattress is incredibly soft and comfortable. The breakfast is plentiful, and the space is spacious, so there's no need to wait for a table. The service was excellent and attentive, especially Li Jiyan, who was very helpful. I look forward to staying here again!

The twin beds are 1.3m wide and can be put together, but there is a wall lamp in the middle that gets in the way. The mattress has side seams. The bed is very high and the mattress is very thick. I felt it was a bit hard at first, but after sleeping on it for three days, I felt it was just right. The blackout curtains in the bathroom are very good, and turning on the light in the bathroom does not affect others. The window can be opened for ventilation and cooling. The hair dryer can also be a domestic brand, which is good and has many temperature options. The free drinks are OK, and small bottles of Yibao water can also be added. The service is also timely. Check-in and check-out are also fast. The slippers for the children are not big. I don’t know if they are specially small for us. They are a bit too suitable for 4-year-olds. The lobby is not big and there are no chairs.

How to say it, it is a better hotel in Zhongwei. First of all, the Hilton Huanpeng brand will not go wrong. The location is good. In the city center, five minutes from the Drum Tower. Next to the snack street, it is very convenient to eat, live and travel. Basically, there is no need to take a taxi. The hotel lobby is very luxurious. The photo is very good, I like it very much. The hotel manager Miki has given a free upgrade to the room, and introduced the surrounding snacks and play guides. The front desk staff is very good. The check-in process is very familiar. It will be done in a minute or two. The room is clean and the facilities are well equipped. Breakfast has local specialties, it is recommended!

We stayed one night on November 25th. The hotel is located at the eastern foot of the Helan Mountains, offering views of the mountains. The hotel rooms are two-story bungalows. The front desk staff were excellent and arranged a room on the second floor. We booked a king-size bed room, which was large and clean; the bathroom and shower were also very new and clean. The stargazing activity in the evening was great, but unfortunately, it had just snowed, and it was too cold outside to do it outdoors, so it was changed to an indoor computer demonstration. Dinner was a choice of Chinese or Western food, and the taste was good. Breakfast was also self-service, with Western or Chinese options, but not a buffet, so the selection was limited. The restaurant staff were very good. The hotel has its own winery; there's also a showroom set up by Liushi Winery, which we visited, and it was quite nice!

We booked a Deluxe Cabin and a King Cabin for two nights, traveling as a family of four plus two elders. Upon check-in, we discovered they offered a butler-like service, which wasn't mentioned on Ctrip but was a pleasant surprise. Requests were responded to very quickly, almost instantly. The twin beds in the Deluxe Cabin could be combined to form a super king bed, perfect for families. Right outside our cabin door was sand, which the kids absolutely loved and played in all the time. Shared sand-digging tools were also available. Golf carts were provided for transfers within the resort, which was very convenient. There are two restaurants: the 'Panorama Restaurant' on the second floor in Zone A, offering dune views, and the 'Star Restaurant' in Zone B. Breakfast, dinner, and late-night snacks were all complimentary. The Panorama Restaurant served a Chinese and Western buffet for dinner, while the Star Restaurant offered mini hot pot. It seemed the Panorama Restaurant was exclusively for guests who booked higher-category rooms; guests in other room types needed to pay an extra fee. Personally, however, I preferred the mini hot pot at the Star Restaurant and felt no need to visit the Panorama Restaurant, but that's a matter of personal preference. The late-night snack was noodles, which could even be delivered to our room – a very thoughtful touch that showed great hospitality. These complimentary dinner and late-night snack benefits were also not listed on Ctrip but were indeed provided. The hotel offered shuttle service to and from the activity zone, though a transfer at Star Coffee was required. Stargazing at night was also fantastic, but since I visited in early September, it was still a bit chilly in the evenings, so I recommend wearing a long coat. The only downsides were that some golf cart drivers weren't very friendly, perhaps due to heavy workloads. Also, the complimentary amenities in each room varied. One room had neck gaiters, arm sleeves, and shoe covers, while the other lacked arm sleeves but had raincoats and umbrellas, which I found a bit confusing. Moreover, for extended stays, these amenities are supposed to be replenished daily, but ours were not refilled. However, we could pick them up at Star Coffee for free. Overall, I still highly recommend this place. It's definitely worth bringing children here for a unique experience.
