5-Star Hotels in Liaoning, China

The hotel is very nice centrally located and huge room size. The shower pressure are high and very good. Will come back to this hotel if go to dalian. Special mention to Eric Sun at Concierge. Very helpful. He is very attentive. I left my stuff at the room after check out and he personally help me to get my stuff back.

We booked Fraser Suites as the earlier hotel we booked did not met our expectations. We were glad that we found Fraser Suites on trip.com as it did not disappoint. The executive 2 room that we booked was super spacious and the family loves it. The beds were comfortable. As the hotel was just beside a mall, line 2 subway, it was super convenient. There is also a 24 hour Lawson convenience shop. My little boy caught a fever on the third day. We approached the front desk in the morning and Ms Doris Gao helped us to order some medication and got it delivered to us in time. She was very helpful and also checked in with us on my little boy condition. We would also like to thank Aunty Amy Jiang who helped us kept the room clean and nice everyday. We appreciated her attentiveness very much. All in all, glad to have found Fraser Suites Dalian. We will book this hotel again when we visit Dalian next summer.

This is an honest review that is not meant to dissuade anyone but to offer a thorough unbiased review. My opinion of New World before my stay was that it was a 5 star hotel, it certainly wasn't horrible, but after my stay and comparing to other Dalian hotels in its league that I've stayed in, think it doesn't fit the bill for a 5 star hotel. I can't complain about the service, Check in was swift and we got a free room upgrade and spa coupons, but the hotel room carpet was stained, there was dust in some places and the furniture and room amenities are aging, slightly dated and need to be improved (I didn't feel the need to zoom in on those issues so the pictures wont reflect this) . I loved that there were lovely art pieces throughtout the hotel and the fitness centre was top notch especially the heated pool. The breakfast buffet had fewer options than expected for a hotel of that standard but it was honestly delicious and satisfactory, they had both Chinese and Western dishes, fruit and cereal. The waitresses from Guo restaurant had the best service they went out of their way to make our dinner pleasant. The most disconcerting issue I had with New World was that the room deposit refund took longer than I've ever experienced, I found it highly unusual and somewhat disappointing because I've stayed in a lot of 5 star hotels and usually the refund is instant but they told us it would take up to 3 days. Maybe this is standard practice for them but it made no sense to me and I've never had to wait that long. In any case surely it doesn't take 3 days to check a room!

The Architecture is like European Style, amazing interior and exterior design, Luxury stay, one of the best hotel breakfasts in China for foreigners with huge variety. The list of things to enjoy are endless 👏but a bite too expensive, and for a hotel of this price there should be definitely a free mini bar and some free stuff in the room. Great sea and city view from the room.

Jasmine was very helpful during my stay. The park in front of the hotel is very beautiful and there are malls and retaurants around.

Typically I enjoy staying at the a Hotel Nikko, but this time I find the bed to be uncomfortable and the room too hot. It was 28 C in the room and no way to cool it down. I love the location, but I think that was my last visit to Hotel Nikko. I even checked a night early and took a loss on a prepaid room. That's how miserable it was in the room

Great service, gave us a free upgrade to deluxe room on the first day. Excellent view of the sea view and light show at night from the room! Also gave a free fruit platter and toy seal on the first day. Towels and bathrobe are also of good quality.

I had an enjoyable stay at the hotel and was satisfied with my experience. The hotel, being newly built was clean and offered excellent service. The only minor inconvenience was that accessing the room required going up to the top floor lobby and then taking a different elevator down. Despite this small inconvenience, my overall experience was positive and I would consider staying here again.

We were only there for two nights (stopover to head to Harbin)but the location was really centralised. You can easily walk to the city area and their hotel is not far from the train station.

To be honest, I expected a lot for this hotel. Well too much expectation. 我想太多了！ The room, when we first entered it was smelly like I don’t know…like an old room. Clean, yes. But the smell not so ok especially when we have a baby. The Electric plugs, OMG😱 PLEASE FIX IT !!! At first it was ok but then it stopped everywhere. We need to find which electric plug works so we can boil the water and charge our phones. And the last, the WIFI. Speechless on this one. I was thinking that I can do my work during stay at this hotel. But the connection sooooo poor !!!!! I had to use my personal hotspot from my phone to do my work using laptop. Well…I spoke to the receptionist but they said, well maybe because of a lot of people are using it. Well….it’s a big hotel, not a small apartment or even house. Anyways….next time I won’t take much higher expectations on this. Tks!

Amazing view, excellent service, always nice to stay when visiting Shenyang. We were there with our baby and can recommend it to stay here. The bed was prepared that babies can‘t fall down. Gym and pool on the 86 floor is also amazing.

The Hilton hotel in Shenyang great. The service I received at the reception was alright, it would be helpful for the staff to put their best foot forward each time. However, the cleanliness, concierge service, food and amenities were wonderful. It’s a great place for accommodation!

Amazing hotel, very value for money. Hotel is very clean, nice, and modern. To add, a staff Josie Ji went the extra mile to help us with our breakfast add on as it was difficult for us as foreigners to pay for the offer using WeChat pay. Service from her was really top-notched! Most staff we met were also all very professional and polite! Great stay experience.

I stayed at Shangri-La for a couple of nights with my mom. The hotel is nice. The food in the main restaurant is not tasty and overpriced. The service and hospitality of the reception was great. Niki and her other colleague manager were doing a great job. The guy at the reception desk spoke very limited English and seemed to be clueless about the city. For example I asked to help me get a 6 seater to take me and my bicycle to the park by the river, he was trying to convince me there was no place for cycling there even though there is a great cycling trail.

It was a very good stay. The children's preferences for the room were met. When we left, the guy at the check-out counter gave us a drink coupon. We had a very happy stay. Thank you very much.

Friend suggested an international hotel because most local hotels struggle/can’t welcome foreigners. I decided on the Westin and it was nothing short of amazing, great service, helpful staff and beautiful finishes. I even got a room upgrade so that made my short trip even sweeter! Location was convenient too, close to local food spots, metro and the K11 Art Mall

I have always trusted the Sheraton brand. It is also very close to the airport. It is my first time to visit Northeast China. The people here are very welcoming. Rosie, the front desk lady, was especially welcoming and gave me small gifts such as earplugs and heating pads. It was so warm. I will choose to stay here often in the future!

The hotel was great value for money. The pool was great and the gym was very well equipped. It is located right next to the Wanda Plaza, so food and shopping was a quick walk away. Staff was friendly and could communicate in English. All and all very satisfied. We would use them again in the future.

Good location from the river walkway to the broken bridge. Also a 15 minute taxi ride to the railway station made it very convenient. Best Western style and Chinese breakfast one could ask for as well as ongoing friendly service. The coffee could be better, but cannot compare it to a coffee shop. Spacious warm rooms made it the perfect place to rest and relax after a busy day (during winter). Will definitely be back if I return to Dandong

來丹東最大的驚喜就是訂了明珠酒店，雖然是在小城裡，但是服務水平在線，酒店新開業的，設施都很新很人性化，前台小姐姐給升級了房間，能直接看到美麗的江景，感謝！ 服務：酒店的工作人員都很熱情，尤其是123禮賓大哥，入住期間每次遇到都熱情打招呼，幫忙開門幫忙拿行李，餐廳的工作人員也會提醒9：30閉餐多拿點吃的，還有022美麗的小姐姐考慮周到，讓人心情愉快。 環境：酒店在江邊，離着志願軍公園很近，早上去晨跑遇到了鍛鍊的人羣，還有練歌的大姨大爺們，很有生活的煙火氣 設施：最喜歡的是衞生間，兩個洗手枱方便洗漱，空間也很大，尤其是智能馬桶很人性化，加分加分 總之，以後如果還來丹東肯定會選擇明珠，對酒店環境有要求的朋友強烈建議選擇明珠。

The hotel is located on the Yalu River, with a beautiful and quiet environment. It is only one bridge away from Moon Island. The hotel has complete facilities, spacious and luxurious, and first-class service. This time I stayed in a river view room on the 22nd floor, with a wide view. Not only can I see Moon Island, but I can also see North Korea across the river! The night view near the hotel is also beautiful. I took a few photos with my camera for your reference. Although the holiday room prices have risen a bit, it is really comfortable to stay. I still recommend staying. A suggestion is that the facilities in the gym are too monotonous. I hope to add some strength training equipment!
