If you can’t swim I’m sure there are lessons available which would be a great thing to do no matter the purpose of your trip. Crowne Plaza is a big name, but why hasn't it improved? The room hygiene details are not in place, and the facilities are in poor condition. Despite the language barrier he made a sincere effort to make us feel welcome and check we understood everything we needed to know. Wang Naipeng was also amazingly helpful! Coming to the rescue when we ordered takeout to completely the wrong place 😂 We wish were returning to Lanzhou again soon, so we could stay in the hotel again! :)
