It was quiet, spacious and very nice. It was a short drive to the nearby shopping district, so I didn't have any trouble shopping, and it was easy to access sightseeing spots. There are a lot of ants in the room, which is a problem, so I would like something to be done about it.

The accommodation was perfect for a group of friends looking to find a few days to relax in Airlie. The swimming pool was refreshing and the apartment we stayed in was very clean and spacious. Would definitely recommend.
The hotel is self-service and very convenient. It is close to the beach and Currumbin Zoo. There are large supermarkets nearby for shopping. There is also a newsstand where you can buy Go Cards. It is close to the main road, so the noise of cars passing by is quite loud when you sleep at night.

It was a wonderful stay at Ingenia Holidays Noosa North. The cabins have everything you need to spend time, cook etc. It was very clean, the whole area but also the crockery. The bed was very comfy. To sum up - we would definitely recommend!

On the day of check-in, I found that the quilt was stained, I told the front desk to change it, and the reply was only changed once, and once in the next four days. If you want to check out one day earlier, you can't negotiate, and you will not be refunded even if you check out. The bathroom shampoo is not easy to use, and it was not updated in time the day before check out. General experience.

GGuest UserFirstly, the room was excellent, ultra clean with bath and shower. The sheets were exemplary, bed very comfortable as were the pillows.
Bar fridge and microwave, toiletries in the bathroom.
Towels excellent.
Airconditioning excellent.
I was excited to see a very large, modern wide screen TV with onboard Android system.
Disappointed that no internet connection (so I could have used my own passwords for my streaming services.
Even more disappointed that there was no aerial connected, but I had brought my own tech and internet. I just switched off the TV.
Imagine my extreme displeasure to board the 3rd floor lift at 05:00 to have the doors closed - but no button worked!
I WAS TRAPPED IN THE LIFT!!!
I pressed the yellow emergency button for 5 seconds - no answer - pressed multiple times.
I phoned the hotel main number, so they could press the lift call button - no answer.
I phoned the 24/7 emergency 1300 number. The operator said she would send someone out - who would phone me with an ETA.
Getting anxious, being 60 years old with a heart condition, I dialled 000 to call the POLICE!
The dispatcher commended me on remaining so calm.
I assured her, being very hot in cramped spaces with very little air was definitely not conducive to my remaining calm.
They said to call 000 back if I got out before the fire brigade arrived.
Five minutes later I heard voices outside. Someone heard my banging on the lift doors and cries for help.
I GOT OUT
That night the guy on reception said sorry.
I explained that, although the room was marvelous - and that I did eventually get out, a man of my age and I'll health could have died - why wasn't anyone on duty to answer the damn lift emergency phone?
He said he was sorry.
AAnonymous UserHad a wonderful stay at cairns queen court! All the staff were super friendly. They always try their very best to help with our questions and provide suggestions to our trip planning! However, beware of the morning (ard 6:30am) house keeping if you wanna sleep in~ overall, I enjoyed staying there and had lot of fun in Cairns!
GGuest UserThe location is wonderful .. short walk to surfers paradise and skypoint is just right next door. Easy to get from airport as the tram stop is just right next to skypoint. Many cafe and restaurant choices. Did not use the pool or gym. Noise can be heard from room as the walls are thin. Easy check in .. staff did not advise much on the resort facilities and we figure out the wifi password base on the sticker on the kitchen wall. Our rooms balcony look out into the pool which is nice.
AAnonymous UserI really like this hotel very clean very nice the hospitality is very good I really like it and they are so welcome welcome us the staff are very good they are very polite with us and very general I really love the room it was very good and big
GGuest UserI had a great stay at Gilliganâs! The room was spacious and clean, and I was even lucky enough to have the whole dorm to myself one night. I still managed to meet plenty of people, despite being a solo traveller, thanks to the social atmosphere and nightlife. Itâs worth noting that the bar/club area didnât really get busy until late in the evening (11:30pm onwards), and the hostel is pretty deserted during the day thanks to everyone being out on tours/experiences. My room was overlooking the pool/bar area, so did get noisy at night, but the hostel offers free earplugs at reception which did the trick. It was great to have an en-suite in the room, and the bathroom was in good condition. The location is ideal, right within the hub of Cairns City, however I didnât feel particularly safe as a solo female traveller in the area at night, so itâs definitely important to be aware of that/travel in a group where possible. The on-site travel agency is helpful and approachable, and staying at the hostel means that you can get discounted drinks at the bar and free club entry before 11pm. I didnât end up going to any of the weekday themed nights, but at the weekend the vibes downstairs were good. I would definitely recommend Gilliganâs to any young solo/group travellers who want to meet new people and experience Cairnsâ party scene at a budget-friendly price!
FFlemingTaniaWe booked our accommodation at Hola as it was a short drive from the birthday party celebration at a local Brewery we attended. We were pleasantly surprised by this bouquet-style accommodation(only 15 rooms). Every room is slightly different with different art from a local artist hanging in the room. A local potter has made one-of-a-kind coffee and tea cups. All of the content in the bar fridge is locally sourced (bottles are recycled) everything is about sustainability- furniture from recycled timber, a water tank, solar-sourced power, private, tranquil, and the most amazingly comfortable bed (we both sleep very well) The bathroom products are beautiful: organic botanicals designed to elevate your mood that is vegan-friendly, cruelty-free and refillable. Across the road is a park, Thai restaurant, and local markets (Wed & Fri.) We only stayed one night but we would definitely go back for a longer stay next time so that we could enjoy the gardens and private lawn area (picnic/ read a book/ chillout). We have already recommended Hola to family and friends. Eumundi is a 20-minute drive to Noosa (north) or (South) to Mooloolaba. Super clean and very new/modern. The welcome bag containing lollies and chocolates was a nice gesture The only very, very small thing for me, was there was no shower cap (I have long hair), I think because shower caps are plastic it goes against their suitability Philosophy. I did have a hairband to use, so really that is my only negative thing.
GGuest UserWhilst everything was fairly reasonable, the food was overpriced rubbish. It was more akin to the local greasy Joe's and $35 bucks for 2 small sized peices of Snapper and 2 bucks worth of Salad did not impress at all. Staff were friendly and helpful, but they prices were outrageous for the standard. Which was overcooked and very disappointing. You might get away with it from unsuspecting overseas visitors, but I'm sorry to say it was crap. I guess when you have zero competition you better cop it or never book there again. If i was an international tourist I would not think anything food related was more than mediocre at best.
The room rate was fair priced, however dining was nothing short of highway robbery. I accept the distance to deliver supply's definitely added to the pricing, it fell way short of ones expectations of a resort level quality. $35 bucks for a meal that resembled Bain Marie cheap pub grub did not by any means cut the mustard.
It will be one and only time we ever stay there. Feeling ripped off, does not inspire retention or return guests.
Cheap 3 star venue that costs the equivalent of much more, renders this tired resort 3 stars at best.
Most visitors to any of these types of places have expectations of a higher standard.
Get the food right and pricing becomes a non issue.

JJene JowNo staff at the front, ever. If you need assistance you are on your own trying to call them. Everyday there was someone else struggling to get in because the code didnât work or the keypad was temperamental.
Check in wasnât complicated but required time and effort following their links, if you are booking for someone else, like businesses do, you canât get the entry code until you get the text messages and follow the check in process.
Balconyâs are useless and there is no sound insulation because of the balcony doors. The noise coming from the street to my room was the equivalent of just sleeping on the street.
Location was good for airport proximity and a Woolworths and some restaurants.
Room was clean, bathroom was cramped but did the job.
Lacked power outlets near the bed.
