The service staff is very kind and clear
Any inquiries are happy to help, explain
And very close to the Blue and White Tile Church (Amas Church)
Next street is the main shopping street.
Will definitely stay again if there is a chance
It's well-organaized hotel near a big shopping mall in Porto. Stuff are specially kind. I felt there are something more than the price.
If you are tourist who lack of time, it might be better to choose the accomodation located in the center of the city. However, If you have time, this hotel must be one of the good option.
I visited not only major tourist spots in Porto but also I welt the fish port market town Matosinhos 20 min metro ride from this hotel and enjoy the seafood there.
Friendly People in a practical instalation verdad clase to San Bento train station (walking distance)
Con modernas instalaciones y personal amigable y atento, con una excelente ubicación muy cerca de la estación del tren de San Bento
The service is very comprehensive, free luggage storage can be provided in advance and after check-out, and the reception lady and brother take the initiative to help carry the luggage. The activity room and kitchen are very spacious and clean, giving people a feeling of home, and a rich buffet breakfast. The room is small, but very quiet and private.
Very good, a few minutes walk from Porto Airport. The front desk was very welcoming, recommended the restaurant at night to me, and also helped me print the boarding pass. The room is hygienic and air-conditioned.
The hotel is in a good location, opposite the subway transfer center, and there are trains departing from the airport. It is a short walk to the center of the city, and it is a good choice for a budget hotel. The accommodation conditions are normal, neither exceeding expectations nor too much to be picky.
It was difficult to locate the hostel as it was a small door with a colourful poster (not eye catching initially) beside an Kebah resturant. Lift was the old sch lift but im glad it work with my heavy luggage. The staff was friendly, check in was easy. Room was awesome as i was the only 1 on the last day (4 bed female dorm). However a bit noisy along the corridor in the middle of the night at other rooms. Breakfast was cheap and simple, was being serve. Overall its a good stay and walking distance to every location.
Hotel Vice-Rei is about 10 minutes away. walking distance from the Casa da Música metro station, so getting to the old center of Porto with its main attractions (and the airport) is not the slightest problem. Right behind the hotel there is a very large hall with several dozen bars (restaurants) open until 24:00. So there is no problem even with a late dinner :-)
The room we occupied was large and well-equipped. The only thing missing was a cordless kettle (but that's just a detail).
First of all, the room was clean and the beds were very comfortable!
We also enjoyed breakfast. The selection may not have been amazing, but everything was tasty and fresh. There was something ”sweet” (traditionally for those from the south of Europe, i.e. sweet rolls, jam) and something ”salty” (traditionally for those from the north of Europe, i.e. cheese, cold cuts).
As for the hotel service, it was fantastic! Both at the reception and during breakfast. And the staff cleaning the rooms, who can be seen every day and make sure that your stay is also a success!
So from our experience, we recommend Hotel Vice-Rei!

Great
AAissataReally nice hostel located in really the central part of Porto. Really easy to go everywhere from there. Just be aware that it’s on the bottom of everything so you’ll have to climb to go everywhere if not by cab. The room was really nice and had their own bathroom and shower. Would go again if I ever do a solo trip there
GGuest UserThe room is clean and comfortable, the breakfast is good and rich, there is parking space, and it is convenient to go everywhere. The service is also very good. I will stay in this hotel every time I come to Porto. I will come again next time
PPen-123The location is not bad, not far from the subway station, it takes about 5-6 minutes to walk, but the road in Porto is more rugged. There is a cafe on the first floor, which supports visa cards, but I failed to swipe the international visa card issued by China, but fortunately Google Pay can be used. Coffee, croissants, etc. are provided in the morning. The room I booked has a toilet and shower, and a small balcony where you can sit and drink tea, watch the computer or chat with others, or enjoy the sky when the weather is good. I stayed in the room for 2 days, and I prepared eye masks and earplugs myself, otherwise it might affect the quality of sleep. There is also a toilet and a washbasin outside the off-season. Although it is a bunk bed, the bed is not high, and it is not too difficult to get on and off the upper bunk. It just seems not very strong, and the metal bed sometimes squeaks. There are many people who come to drink at night. If you travel together, the downstairs also serves as a bar.
GGuest UserIn general it is a very good place to stay**** for a hostel, it is about 10 minutes walk from the Belhao market and the only drawback is that it does not have an elevator. Parking is easy.
AAnonymous UserThe hair dryer is not equipped in the room.
The downstairs bar is utterly noisy until 2 am, and you can feel the shake of the floor.
They provide u with a small taste if Porto wine.
The kitchen has nothing but a microwave to cook, so it is barely a kitchen
There’s no water kettle here.
The old man who is working as a janitor there and is also living in their 4 bunk bed is constantly very rude to Asian customers. So be aware. Could be racist, his own trauma, stereotypes, or simply anti-Asia. U can see he was smiling to other guests one minute ago and then scolding u in harsh language to u in the next minute.
Location is good enough.
The reception is only a place with frugal table with keys on it.
GGuest UserIt was so beautiful and insanely good!
We stayed in a dormitory with a mix of 6 people. The room has a locker with a key, two separate toilets and two showers. The hair dryer is also very good. You can also use the shared kitchen and refrigerator.
The staff was very kind and helpful.

DDejan SkaljacWe booked this room last minute.. The manager was very accommodating and even included a complimentary breakfast in our room rate, even though it would have a 5 euro charge extra. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom squeaky clean. The hotel is not in the city centre, but the centre is not far , easily reached by metro, 2 stops away, or a 15min downhill stroll. The decor is somewhat dated overall, but it gives the property the quaint air of a countryside pousada even though it is located in Porto city.
